This park is a cute little themed park close to home. There are dinosaur shapes and a statue to take a pic with. It's by the water/lake and there is plenty of room to lay out and grill. There are a few surrounding picnic tables and it is close to parking spots. Many people have birthday parties or celebrations in the area. The park itself is great as there are many options for different ages. There's a toddler area/slide. A set for the kids that are older, sprinklers, swings for both kids and babies. The only issue is that it's by the lake so there are mosquitos all around. Bring bug spray. They follow you to the car. And even snuck into the car!

A lovely park with a fun and cozy atmosphere. Lots of green and nature. Amazing lake views. The facilities are varied for all ages. Many picnic benches and lots of shade. It also seems possible to park right next door

This park seems to be on the top playground lists in Queens. I couldn't really agree. The playground itself is not kept up. Weeds all over the place and graffiti on slide areas. The dinosaurs would be cool but they aren't kept up either, the long neck in the middle seemed to have peeling paint. Maybe it was due to covid that this playground has been overlooked by the parks department but it's a shame. I gave 3 stars bc it did have several slides, climbing activities and a lot of swings compared to other parks. There isn't really a place to feed the birds or ducks as it was just a small opening in the grassy border to the lake and someone was fishing. They do have air conditioned port a potty's which is a plus. Parking lot is about a 10 minute walk away at the US open parking lot as per google maps. I wouldn't go again.

hard to see but the fencing both in front and behind have dinosaurs on them (stegosaurus, brachiosaurus, triceratops)

There's no denying that this panoramic spot in Englewood, NJ is a looker. I'm not sure if there's a walking trail, but hubs and I are continuing our 'Naturalscapes' as we've been searching for walking paths or nature areas such as this one located on the Palisades Interstate Pkwy. There's enough parking, seating and a few of those outdoor viewer binoculars to see the landscape. Not sure if those binoculars are coin-operated- but it's COVID and if you're a sane person, why would you use these public binoculars??? In any case, with the exception of these boulders, leaf hedges and I think there might've been a chain link fence dividing the edge of the cliff to the walkway- hubs and I were literally standing above the world. Yes, it's a cliché, but the sight of the Hudson River from the top of Rockefeller in NJ really is great.

We stopped here for a short break and ended up spending much longer than planned. It's a great place for photography, especially during sunrise or sunset. The parking area is small but convenient for a quick stop. Free for the first 20 mins... The lookout was not that clean, and not sure why people are not using the trash. It wasn't very crowded when we visited. If you're driving along Henry Hudson Drive or exploring the Palisades, this place is definitely worth adding to your trip.
