Accidental Bliss! My hubby and I were looking for a place to stay on the beach while we search for condos so that we can become clichés -i.e., snowbirds. Very few hotels available, overly pricey and not right on the beach. While surfing on Google Earth we noticed a bed symbol sitting in the ocean. This place is fantastic. A timeshare, you can rent a unit for the week. It has everything you need to be comfy and is so close to the ocean that you can hear and feel the waves crashing. Such a nice way to sleep. Super nice people. Great pool and jacuzzi. We rented A2 which has nice side views of the aqua blue ocean north and south. Open all the sliders and you have a fantastic cross breeze and can watch the surfers, paddle boarders and kit surfers. The place has AC (and heat when those cold fronts come down). The only 1 bedroom (with foldout couch) unit better would be A1 which also has a slider and deck facing the ocean, giving you the feel of being on the veranda of a Seabourn cruise ship. The price per night is great and we would go back in a heartbeat because it made us feel like we were in a cottage in Eleuthera. If you stay here or in the area, make sure you dine at Captain Charlie's Reef Grill. And have ice cream at Palm Beach Ice cream in close by Tequesta. This area has a California vibe and we are now sitting in the airport depressed that we have to return to reality. You're welcome!

That said, it's honestly shocking that a resort of this caliber still does not have a working gym. This was really unfortunate, especially since I was traveling with kids and couldn't easily leave the property to take advantage of the outside gyms they offer to cover. For a luxury resort, an on-site gym feels like a basic expectation. Overall, a wonderful stay in many ways, but the lack of a functional gym was a significant disappointment.

You couldn't even see it and was so cold. We had a grilled cheese sandwich that was good. That's why I gave it a one point. They never bought over teaspoons for the coffee nor salt nor ketchup for the fries. I had to get up several times to get the Waiter. I do not recommend this restaurant at all. We did express ourselves to Sterling a manager at the restaurant. Very nice and attentive manager. Just and I could be wrong but if I had local customers being so unsatisfied with the service and the food I have have at the least offered them a drink or dessert to say I apologize and come back again. But that is my opinion and good customer service. Ok. Enough. lol Happy New Year to everyone.

Arriving at the resort, it is very lovely and the bell staff is nice. Check in was okay although they had some issues with my reservation. The facilities are in good shape...they didn't look frayed or worn around the edges but everything did look dated, giving a very 90's Florida vibe. I expected the Golden Girls to pop out from behind a corner! Only two of the elevators were working and even though there are only four floors, sometimes there was a wait for the elevator. My room was clean and comfortable for the most part. Again, it had that old Florida vibe and the colors seemed very 90's. There was a little balcony off my room but I could hear the valet guys so I didn't spend any time out there, although the weather was nice during my stay. The bathroom was big but kind of a weird set up with the toilet and the doorless shower in the same enclosed area. I did like the shower as well as the amenities. There were plenty of plugs at the desk and on the nightstand. The only thing in the room that wasn't great was the bed. It could definitely use a mattress rotation or something because there was a big dip that I kept sliding into. The conference rooms were nice and I loved the meals that were served. The kitchen does a great job and I have to say, all the staff members everywhere were just terrific. The housekeeping staff was so nice and then the people setting up the lunches or helping with the conference rooms. Just a really great team. The central bar area when you walk in is great, as is the patio right behind it with views of the gorgeous pool . I was working so didn't have time to enjoy any of the recreation but it looked wonderful. I took a walk every morning and there's a lovely path that goes down by the golf course and you can walk around the small lakes. It was a great way to start the day. Overall a very nice place.

We traveled as a family of three - husband, wife and…read moredaughter (8) The resort is located right on the beach unlike others that are across the street or require walking. It's also situated right on the boardwalk so you can easily take a nice walk in the morning, grab a quick scoop of ice cream (like 10 spots to choose from), shop for souvenirs or shirts and grab a quick diner. This made our stay super convenient because everything we needed was there! Most of the restaurants on the boardwalk are more fast casual with lots of Italian options. This worked well for our family because 2/3 of us are vegetarian. We did find a really nice upscale restaurant called GG's waterfront and it was only a two block walk from our hotel so not Ubers were needed. This made our trip to be honest. We love high end restaurants with fresh/quality food and this check every box. It's also situated for the most incredible sunset. So make sure you go. As for food the rest of the trip - for breakfast we just grabbed a Sammy from the coffee shop inside the hotel and they had some good options. Breakfast Sammie's, burritos (pre made but they warm them), fruit bowls, yogurt bowls, you name it. Then for lunch we always ate at the pool an really looked forward to it. This friend shrimp was outta this world and it's served with honey mustard which was so yummy. Prolly some of the best fried shrimp I've ever eaten at a pool. The we always got the cedar salad which was refreshing and we all split it. The only thing I wish they had more of was a nice guac - I'm talking with nice additions and super fresh / tasty. Then for diner we ate at the resort two nights - once on the upper desk restaurant overlooking the love music so we could hear it but not be in the action. The weekend nights are a little rowdy for our daughter. We were able to watch some sports on the outdoor tvs, listen to live music, watch the FlowRider and eat. The food was not great to be honest but the ambiance was incredible. Then one night we ate at the steakhouse at the property. Service was weird just felt awkward lol. But the food was good. The deviled eggs were top notch and some of the deserts. For drinks we always grabbed a South Sode gin drink from the coffee shop. If you like gin then it's a must. And at the pool our daughter lived on strawberry daiquiris (virgin) and we drank 1 pina colada (so much sugar) a day and then switched to mojitos (less sugar). We loved all the pool servers but they could prolly double the service at the pool bc people were kind of always waiting. Cabanas - we got a cabanas two of the days and it was incredible. It includes credit towards food and if you get one with a working tv you can watch tv. The NCAA tournaments were on so we got the cabanas two of the days we wanted access to the to each the games. It was also nice to have space and shade to relax. Treat yourself once day and grab one. FlowRider - WTF this was so cool! We're new to this and it was so fun for older kids. Our daughter was (8) did it two days and loved it. The instructors are so kind and helpful to those trying to learn. One of the trainers is in the top ten of all FlowRiders in the US. I did see some adults doing it but with a bad back we didn't want to risk it. The rooms were nice and cozy. We had one king and then ordered a pull away for our daughter. We do wish that they had more rooms with additional beds for the kids. Even the suites didn't include more beds. We prefer two kings, or king and a pull out and last resort would be two queens. I think they could def make the rooms better suitable for families. Construction - this was the only frustrating part to the end of our vacation. The last two days ( during spring break ) they were door construction right by the main pool and it was so loud that one of the days we had to leave the pool. Just seems like a really weird time to do construction The other negative was the main pool didn't have entertainment any of the days we were there (Saturday (night) - Thursday). It would have been nice to have some trivia, live music, or something. Also, for anyone else wondering if Margaritaville is child friendly it certainly is. They have a dedicated pool for kids with a small water slide, waterfall and activities. However, our daughter didn't want to hang out in the "baby pool" so we stayed at the main pool which had older kids and some other smaller kids. I'd say a majority of the people at the main pool were older kids and adults. Overall we would certainly come back to this hotel as we really enjoyed our stay!

Room wasn't up to cleanliness standards. Broken ironing board. Carpet had MULTIPLE stains. The building has too much wasted space. The lobby is grand and enormous for NO reason. Couldn't get into the gym. Daily resort fee, even if you don't use their "amenities." Oh, don't sit on the lobby furniture. It's as filthy as the carpet in the room I stayed in. I've heard the event used to be held at a different venue, but many people seem thrilled with the move to this location. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful. You really can't go wrong with an event held near the water, even if you don't get a direct view since there's no actual windows upstairs(that I've noticed). The space is elegant, well-designed, and consistently organized to perfection each year. Everything runs smoothly, from valet parking at the entrance to easy access via stairs or elevator. The second floor is mostly hallways with large ballrooms throughout, making it easy to navigate between spaces. Overall, it's always such a fun and memorable experience. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking to host a special event or function--you won't be disappointed.

The only availability they had was for Saturday morning at 9 am for 60 minutes. I agreed and made the booking. I asked if we would have access to the other amenities at the spa and they informed that it was a small spa, but you could have access to the pools. The day of the massages we arrived early to fill out paperwork, changed and sat in the relaxation room until it was time for our appointment. They did offer us complimentary water, tea, and cookies. I think at 9 am they could have offered light breakfast pastries instead of cookies and brownies as I know they serve breakfast upstairs. When it was time for the massages, they put my husband and I in separate rooms. I was under the impression that booking a couples massage we would be in the same room. The massages themself were nothing impressive. The staff outside the room were pretty noisy sounded like they were stocking things and talking. Someone even walked into my husband's room during his massage. When we went to check out the person checking us out looked like she might have been training, but she was also not the most pleasant. A 20% gratuity is already included so we paid almost $400. for 2 60-minute massages that were just mid. Not worth the price especially when they don't have any other amenities to offer besides the pool.
