This beach is calm and very peaceful. It was a lot less crowded then the usual beaches Ive visited (mainly Cocoa and Daytona). The sand was a beautiful ashy grey, but looked clean. There were plenty of shells to collect too! The waters were clean and clear, definitely a more pleasant beach experience than most! read more

This is truly one of the most beautiful beaches I've been to in Florida state so far. We started at the preserve. This is a sand dune location surrounded by a beautifully kept park, perfect for hiking and enjoying nature. The preserve is surrounded by California like beach rocks and is the home to protected wildlife, available for viewing. If you're interested in activities or to donate to the preserve, there is a small office where more information is available. The beach is just a few miles away. Parking is easily accessible and free. I was pleasantly surprised by the beach itself. It was clean and free of sea weed. Sea shells were abundant here and littered the floor leading into the water. Water shoes are highly recommended! There were many sea shell collectors walking the shoreline, gathering their favorite ones. We had a great day here and can't wait to visit again! read more

5/29/25- A great last minute decision to drive out to this beach-. I always see pics and videos of Florida beaches.. I was not dressed properly -or packed anything for the beach- I did put sunscreen before leaving- lol.. Paid the access fee to enter the pier-.$2.00 each- Great deal of $7 for a drink chips and hot dog! I was impressed how many people were fishing- young and old-. Saw a few actually reeling these big fish! (Made me want to fish).. The waters are so blue and there was a nice breeze ! Glad my son made a decision to bring me here! read more

A great beach located in Juno, Florida. The bluest, clearest water with small crowds that allow for optimal space and relaxation. i love juno beach!!! so much better than lake worth in my opinion! they have free parking which is great just hard to find on a busy day! i love that they have little buckets you can take with you on the beach to pick up any trash you see! they had these at the beaches by where i used to live so i'm a big fan!! so important to keep our beaches clean!! the water is soo pretty and blue! very excited to come back again in the summer! even tho it's only February, the water was perfect and so refreshing and not too cold at all! the waves were rough so it was fun! read more

Free public beach steps from my hotel. They have a shower at the entrance I went in. The beach was clean, full of shells, little sargassum, and not crowded in July. Gentle waves compared to what I'm used to in Long Island and warm ocean here. No lifeguards. There's a Juno Beach fishing pier that charges $5 for fishing and $2 for spectators. Bonus: there's a sidewalk along the beach on Ocean Avenue used for running/walking and a bicycle path on the road. The walking path is shaded by mangroves as you go along the walk to the pier. Juno is a quiet, unassuming beach and I'm a huge fan. read more

You always have to check out the beach when you are in Florida, at the recommendation of my parents we decided to check out the beach. It's awesome, a well maintained area, with lifeguard areas and safety notices posted. Every there seemed to take care of the beach I didn't see a lot of trash, since it was a rip tide warning we didn't venture far into the water, but still had a great time walking around and checking out the pier. I want to go back when the waters are safer to be in. read more

Juno beach is a wonderful beach option in south Florida. I recently went there for my baby boy's 6 month photo shoot. It was so clean and pristine with nice sand and peaceful environment. The pier area is super nice to walk around in as well. I love the fact that it's so nicely maintained. We got some amazing photos here right before sunset. It wasn't too busy so it was nice that you can social distance here. No one comes super close to you or anything. Parking was easy to get, since some other south Florida beaches it's tough to find parking on the street. This beach had a free parking lot across the pier area. Would highly recommend this beach for family time, walk, or just lasting around beach day. ~ read more

Free parking, decently soft sand, gentle waves, clear water, this beach is up there on the quality scale. Plus there's public bathrooms and outside showers available. Can get a bit crowded but there's still space to spread out given it's a decent size beach. There's a swimming area with life guards and a fishing pier (there is a cost to go out on the pier). You can also swim outside the lifeguarded area if you so choose. We went on a cloudy day unfortunately but I hear the water is beautifully blue when it's sunny out. read more

When I want an escape I head north where the people are polite, the pace is a little slower, and there is a little more room to breathe. Juno Park Beach is all the things I love about the beaches of Jupiter. It is paradise even on a rainy day like when I visited. This 5.24 acre beach front park has everything you need to enjoy a day of sun and surf. There is free parking, showers, restroom, and picnic tables and shelter. Ocean Rescue headquarters is also located on the parking lot side. You cross A1A to get to the 300 feet of life guarded beach. There is also a salt water fishing pier with bait shack and snack shop, $1 for spectators and $4 for anglers. They even have an off leash, dog friendly side of the beach so you can bring your best four legged friend. When you finish at the beach there are plenty of dining options in the area. If you are a local Floridian, this is the perfect place to pretend you are on vacation. read more

Just came back from another visit to South Florida and this beach is definitely our go to beach. We have been to others in the area, but we r still so gravities to everything about this beach. The aqua turquoise waters are beautiful. The waves here are amazing. On a windy day, they are huge and I know I won't get in the water but I continue to admire those waves. They are full of windsurfers and surfers. When the water is calm, I love getting in the water and the beautiful color is always impeccable with the site of the pier in the short distance. I always go to the dog friendly side. There are dogs but there are not tons where people r super crowded like sardines. Parking is on the street or across the street as well as the bathrooms which are across the street but Marcinski. There are showers and poop bag stations for the pups. I'll continue coming back every day when I'm in the area. I love it that much! read more

This is an amazing beach if you like peace and quiet. I was impressed with the ease of parking and the quick walk over to the pier area. There are plenty of life guard stations. I liked that they flag off the area near the pier for safety. I have to come back here with my Labradoodle. The few dogs that I saw were having a blast. The water is cooler than in Hollywood beach and the waves are a bit more rough. I enjoyed a brisk walk along the shore until it started to pour. Many of the sun bathers just tucked under the pier for cover. I chose to head off while promising myself that I would be back soon. I'm tempted to move north just to be close to this beach it's so nice. read more

This is honestly my most favorite Dog Beach in Florida! Located just South of Jupiter is Juno Beach. It's a quiet beach town and is full of scenic views from the natural surrounding Sand Dunes. Parking for the beach is easy breezy, and is free. YES, FREE! There are a couple of lots located right across the street from the beach. Once you park and walk across, you walk down wooden stairs to the beach. There is even a Pier here to walk on as well. The beach goers are easy-going, and if you pup accidentally wanders onto another's towel or seating area, there is never an issue! The beach is full of "poop bag" dispensers for your convenience, and also has a nice outside shower. Pro Tip: bring your pup's shampoo and get them cleaned off before heading home! All in all, if you're looking for a great beach- this is it! Whether you have a dog or not, you are sure to have a great time! read more

Great South Florida beach. When we went it was sparsely populated and open so we did not have to worry about masks or anything. Decent sand and cleanliness with a good amount of bathrooms and showers to use. It was in easy walking distance to town so you could get their by foot from the local hotels or restaurants in the area. It is also kiddie corner to the Marinelife Center where they nurse sea turtles back to health and you can get a peak at baby turtles or a few natural walking trails that navigate through the local sand dunes. So much diversity and activities to do in such a small area makes this a great beach. read more

Just like the gazillion other beaches in SO FLA, this beach is caressed by its almost white sand, clear water and it's beautiful pier. I am enjoying it solo ... which is a first for me . Definitely not overcrowded, everyone is conscious to practice social distancing .... good spot to unfold your chair, pop in your ear buds and just soak in the sun . It is family friendly, I haven't seen any top less women .. ( I know such a bummer) you will have to venture down to south beach if that's something you are looking forward to. You can still drag a cooler and pop a beer open ,although I opted for a jug of water and a mango . Life is good :-) read more

Very peaceful beach. RELAXING!!! I'm here on Memorial Day weekend, I was able to find parking without a problem. Not over crowded, not to many people playing music. I laid down between the lifeguard station(left) and the pier(right). Normal amount of seaweed and the sand is fair, not as many shells on the ground as Jupiter beach park. The water is gorgeous, will be a little choppy since you are by the pier and the breakaway waves are present. The sounds of the waves are so peaceful, very calming and relaxing experience overall. They have pier access if you want, just need to pay the fee. They allow fishing off the pier so definitely check it out if you can. Great place to watch the sunrise. The park does have showers and restrooms. Only bad thing is you need to cross the street back to the parking lot to reach them. Definitely recommend this beach as must try. read more

I know everyone is always going on and on about Siesta Key in Sarasota and how great of a beach that is, but other than the fact the sand is very powdery, I feel it is greatly over-hyped. For me, Juno Beach holds a special place in my heart. I once had the fortune to fall asleep on the sand with a date many moons ago and watch the sunrise together. It was one of the most beautiful things I had seen in my life (try it!). While I am not sure if this is still something that is allowed, it's certainly not allowed on Miami Beach, as the police won't allow anyone on the beach after midnight. While living briefly in Jupiter, I was also treated to some spectacular views of the cyan and turquoise waters of this beach, visible as soon as you parked (free parking, FYI) and stepped on to the sidewalk. Looking at the green seagrapes framing the turquoise waters with the pale sand underneath, it was picture-perfect and you could feel your troubles melting away. Despite it being such a beautiful beach, the best part was the fact that it was never crowded, and the people seemed respectful of each other (again, something not true in Miami Beach, where it seems to be a competition as to who has the loudest sound system on the sand). I never had to feel like I was being encroached on while here because the beach never became overcrowded. I introduced a friend of mine to Juno Beach and even when he lived on Miami Beach and had the beach within steps, he'd take the 1.5 hour drive to spend the day at Juno Beach in peace, so that tells you something. There is also the fishing pier, which again, gives you some beautiful views of the beach and the waters. Speaking of the pier though, do be aware that because of the fishermen on this pier, sharks can be found in the deeper waters of this beach. I remember some years ago seeing an aerial shot of the pier with sharks circling at the base, so just remember to keep your eyes open and not venture too far off into the depths while swimming, and keep in mind that sharks normally feed at dusk and dawn. As someone else mentioned in her review, this is loggerhead turtle headquarters. In fact, an article I stumbled upon mentioned that if they marked off every turtle nesting spot on the beach, there'd be nowhere to walk, so you may just be tanning on top of some turtle eggs there! The Loggerhead Marinelife Center organizes turtle walks and hatchling releases for a fee at this beach. I went on my own (since they were fully booked through next year) and walked up and down the beach for about 1.5 miles. Unfortunately, no hatchlings in sight. A woman and her family told me that last weekend she had seen 3 hatchlings, but hadn't seen any on this night either. If you're fortunate enough to live close by, drive by at night and hang out for a bit. Even if you don't see a turtle, you'll get in some exercise at a lovely, family-friendly beach. Again, not many beaches can boast being safe after dark but this one is safe, and attracts turtle-seeking families, as well as people who just want to lie down on a beach chair and observe the beautiful starry skies. It is great how they make an effort to dim all the street lights and establishment lights nearby so as to not disorient the turtles! As a result, you're treated to some beautiful star-gazing, as the light pollution factor is eliminated. Shelling is pretty decent too, so bring a pail or a baggie and enjoy your stay! read more

Juno Beach Park encompasses 5 acres, with 300 feet of guarded beach. Soft sand, clear blue shallow water, & perfect rolling waves to play in. The Park features showers, restrooms, & shaded picnic tables. You may bring a cooler with food & drinks, chairs, umbrellas, etc. I saw several sunburned faces & backs, even though the temps are in the 70s now. So don't forget to bring sunblock for faces, necks, arms, & legs. & Then don't forget to use it. Juno Beach is a Turtle hot spot where Green Sea Turtles, Loggerheads, & Leatherbacks come by the thousands to build their nests & lay their eggs. I recommend visiting the Loggerhead Marinelife Center, which is just south of this park. read more

If you have a dog you have to take them to Juno Beach Park!! Not only do they have FREE parking that is walking distance to the beach but you can take your dog off the leash and let them run around and enjoy the beach with you. I knew Jupiter had a dog beach and I have wanted to take my dog for a very long time but never got around to it until recently. My friend and I took the ride up and it was really easy to find. The park also has picnic facilities and a playground. There are a lot of people on this beach surfing and kite boarding so there is a lot to do and see when you go. When we first walked onto the beach and went down the steps to the water you could see the excitement my dog had when she saw the ocean for the first time. As soon as I took her off the leash she was gone, LOL!! She ran up and down the beach for hours. Biting the waves and chasing all the surfers into the water. I think I might need to invest in a doggie water jacket since my pup has no fear of anything!! We brought some food to the beach and just enjoyed the view while the puppy played. I also brought some toys to play fetch and we made many new 4 legged friends that day. All of the dogs on the beach were really friendly and all of the owners were really good at looking after their dogs and picking up after them as well which was really nice to see. I thought is was such a cool experience to be on the beach with all of these dogs running around. I cannot wait to go back and I know my dog Julz can't wait either. Remember to bring LOTS OF WATER!!!! When you leave they have showers just for the dogs where the water just stays on while you rinse them off in the fresh water. It is really important that you clean them off really well after you leave the beach because the salt water and sand will irritate their skin as well as dirty your car! read more

We've only been twice but we really enjoyed Juno beach! It's a little bit of a drive from our house but it IS pet-friendly, and you'll be pleasantly surprised when you realize the parking is free - a rarity! Most importantly, a clean beach! Dogs are to be on leashes (and owners must pick up after them), lifeguards on duty, showers & toilets conveniently located. We'll definitely be back to soak up the sun, soon! read more

Wish I didn't have to drive from Boynton just to let my dog come enjoy the beach with me...but I just had to get over having to commute the 30-40mins each way. The beach is nice and had plenty of room to distance myself from others if I wanted a more private day. Dogs are supposed to be on leash with-in the specific dog area but most aren't. Luckily I never had any issue with unfriendly, pesty dogs or ones that misbehaved or didn't get along with mine. Love that there is so much free and easily accessible parking there too, as well as a restroom nearby. read more

I finished work earlier than expected today so my friend and I took her dog to this amazing spot at juno beach. It was my first time at this park and I loved it. It is a place perfect for families who have furry members! Also weather was awesome and we anticipated summer 2016 which is supposed to start in only two days!!! I don't know I hadn't been here before. It is such a calm and relax place to take a break from the daily madness. It is also good to go for a run or biking. I saw some skaters rolling the place too!! One of the things I was really surprised about this place is that you can park for free. Nope, you're not reading wrong.. It is for f*r*e*e !!! Great beach! Free parking which is so rare in S. Florida. Beach and amenities were clean and well kept. Lifeguards were friendly and helpful. Took the new puppy here for his first beach experience, good times. Lots of other friendly dogs and beach goers, lots of great seashells and today some great waves to the delight of the surfers and stand up paddleboarders. If you take your dog, you have to go one set of stairs to the North of the pier to be in the dog friendly area. Looking forward to our next trip to Juno Beach!! read more
