We were placed next to a family with young children who were awake and active from 6:00 a.m. every morning. My sister was celebrating her 50th birthday, and we chose this staycation to relax, sleep in, and enjoy some quiet time, but unfortunately we didn't get a good night's sleep during the four nights we stayed. I would recommend that the resort consider placing guests seeking a peaceful, relaxing getaway in a quieter section, separate from families with small children whenever possible. That small change would make a huge difference. Other than that, the resort is amazing but this experience would make me think twice before returning.

You can set your combination to lock it so your belongings are safe. There is a beauty area with blow dryers, hair ties, Q-tips and other female products are available upon request. Showers are also present. The steam and sauna rooms were incredible. My favorite part was the heated jacuzzi pool with the overhead waterfall that comes rushing down into the jacuzzi. It was activated by a button that you can press on the outside. It was clothing optional in this area. The outdoor spa area is an oasis of beauty. It was raining a bit on the day I came, but they have silver hanging chairs with water beneath your feet, cabanas and waterfalls. It's blissfully calming. I've never experienced anything like it! The treatment waiting area had snacks, tea and water. My massage was tailored to me specifically. I added a foot and hand paraffin treatment. It was extremely relaxing. The hydrafacial was also fantastic. My skin felt so refreshed afterwards. I stayed using the amenities until they closed at 6pm that day. The beach is so pretty and is private. The staff was helpful and very responsive. We would definitely stay again! The resort has Valet parking which I typically love but a little sloppy here. Back to the balcony. We were on a night floor which was advertised as the penthouse. Except there were two floors above us. Worst part was that the HVAC machines were on our side of the building which created constant noise. Big letdown. So in my business I can't help but look at things that are being neglected. Typically that's not a good sign. The pathway to the beach was not what the advertisement showed and much of the brick work was damaged and appeared neglected. They do have a restaurant on the property. We had breakfast there one morning. Not my fav. They have a store with beach wear but ridiculously expensive. Would we stay there again? I think I'll pass. You decide for yourself.

There were plenty of plugs at the desk and on the nightstand. The only thing in the room that wasn't great was the bed. It could definitely use a mattress rotation or something because there was a big dip that I kept sliding into. The conference rooms were nice and I loved the meals that were served. The kitchen does a great job and I have to say, all the staff members everywhere were just terrific. The housekeeping staff was so nice and then the people setting up the lunches or helping with the conference rooms. Just a really great team. The central bar area when you walk in is great, as is the patio right behind it with views of the gorgeous pool . I was working so didn't have time to enjoy any of the recreation but it looked wonderful. I took a walk every morning and there's a lovely path that goes down by the golf course and you can walk around the small lakes. It was a great way to start the day. Overall a very nice place.

Elevators regularly had long lines of people waiting just to go up or down. Bar was unserviceable. People on top of eachother food going to wrong tables. Disaster. I've stayed at busy hotels before, but this was next-level. The concierge was an absolute joke. When we asked for recommendations or help booking activities, the responses were generic, unhelpful, and felt scripted. From bell men Eian and Sergio to exceptional servers Elizabeth and Manny and the amazing Bartender Tim which go out of their way to make sure you are satisfied and happy. This property…read moreis beautiful & clean; however, we are locals and wanted a spa day to celebrate our Anniversary. I called the week of and asked if we could book a couples massage. The only availability they had was for Saturday morning at 9 am for 60 minutes. I agreed and made the booking. I asked if we would have access to the other amenities at the spa and they informed that it was a small spa, but you could have access to the pools. The day of the massages we arrived early to fill out paperwork, changed and sat in the relaxation room until it was time for our appointment. They did offer us complimentary water, tea, and cookies. I think at 9 am they could have offered light breakfast pastries instead of cookies and brownies as I know they serve breakfast upstairs. When it was time for the massages, they put my husband and I in separate rooms. I was under the impression that booking a couples massage we would be in the same room. The massages themself were nothing impressive. The staff outside the room were pretty noisy sounded like they were stocking things and talking. Someone even walked into my husband's room during his massage. When we went to check out the person checking us out looked like she might have been training, but she was also not the most pleasant. A 20% gratuity is already included so we paid almost $400. for 2 60-minute massages that were just mid. Not worth the price especially when they don't have any other amenities to offer besides the pool.
