Cafe mocha

This is a nice place to sit and take a break with some patties and coffee . Thanks to Yelp as we were looking for a place that had tables and chairs to sit at and rest. Great selection and nice coffee as well. We all enjoyed the break and the sweets.

The cutest bakery! They have a ton of items, most of which you can grab yourself. Pick up a tray and tongs and grab what you want, then head to the counter and ask for anything behind the counter. They have seating inside if you'd like to eat there. Overall super cute and we all loved what we got, but some of the items are a bit more expensive than you would expect for the size.

Very good pastries. We got the strawberry cream croissant and it was so good. Super fluffy croissant and light cream. The pastry hotdogs were also really good, perfect mid day snack. We also got the sea foam matcha, which was also very good. Different tapioca pearls than a usually boba place but very very good. Service was good. Could use more tables, it was pretty full on a Tuesday afternoon. Lighting was not very good for the pictures haha

Walk inside this bakery and find many treasures from beautifully decorated cakes to buns with cream inside. Wanting a small snack, I got their bun with a strawberry coat on the outside. The texture was spot on. They also sell bubble tea and other drinks. There's an area to sit and the restrooms in the back are clean. (Note: There's a code to the bathroom on the receipts.)

Such a cute little spot. Coffee was great. Really delicious pastries. A few international snacks. Service was good.

I came here on a Friday afternoon, it was surprisingly busy. The selections were great and the drinks were unique. It's very cozy and the prices were fair. The breads are soft and fresh. I'd comeback again.

Lovely cafe here in Frederick. I got that taro drink and I'd say its perfectly sweet at 70% sweetness. Lots of colorful, eye-catching pastries and knick knacks to see. Theres this mirror where some kids/teens use for a selfie station. Seems like a new place. Very clean and tidy. gets some good food traffic here in downtown Frederick. Check it out!

This is downtown in Frederick and has generous hours. Their service model was a bit baffling to me. A kiosk outside allowed me to order a drink, I was able to browse and select some baked goods on a self-serve basis, but to get some of the cakes and pastries I had to directly order from someone. The end result, however, was impressive. A large spread for the office was devoured, and I appreciated the diversity of options. Personally, I sampled a mousse for myself as well as a honeydew milk tea which was satisfying. I managed to get everything from chocolate cake to a caramel tart with easter eggs on it to a honeydew melon bun, a cinnamon twist, and a savory potato roll. And I still did not get everything that looked good.

Holy crap this place is great! I don't think I would have said that Downtown Frederick needed a Korean bakery but I'm glad it's there! First, the selection is amazing. They have a great combination of Korean, American, other other Asian pastries and baked goods. I'm not a big drink person but they have a huge menu. And the food area is super cute and clean! Second, the pastries are amazing! Super light but flavorful, fresh and delicious. I love having a couple red bean options. My friend got the blueberry pastry and said it was like a cloud. Finally, the vibes are immaculate. From the beautifully decorated baked goods to the cute packaging, it's adorable. The staff are friendly and nice too. Highly recommend!

Coffee. Pastry. Adorable. Tasty. Unique. Kind. Automatic door to enter ... 100/10 would recommend.

A cute little Korean bakery and coffee shop near the main area of downtown Frederick. Clean inside and have the vibe of a Brooklyn coffee shop. It's quite spacious where it counts. Seating isn't too abundant, but much better than the even smaller stores nearby. If I recall, this brand is in the H mart in Frederick. I feel like the prices here are better. I may be wrong or I am comparing with another shop that's closer to Gaithersburg/Rockville. We came here on a Sunday and just got tea/coffee and some bread to enjoy. It was quite nice and peaceful. Music isn't loud and the lighting is soothing. People here are nice. They have free WiFi and clean bathrooms.

Plentiful baked good selections - traditional grab a tray, load up, and check out. Good tasty bites. All the bubble tea contained caffeine. The latte was good. Not great seating inside - felt a little sterile so we ordered to-go.

Great Korean bakery. I love how the sweetness is not overwhelming like most western pastries. Touch pricey though.

I saw people coming out of here! I didn't hesitate, I skipped right on across the street to see what I could see. The cutest Korean bakery! The same bakery you know and love from H Mart now has a stand alone location in the heart of downtown Frederick. I took a spin around, snapped some photos and then grab a tray to load up with goodies. I love that its self-serve. You can always get the one you want without the awkward and mostly ineffective pointing and direction giving from behind the glass lol. I picked up a nice mix or sweet and savories. I think my favorite was the spicy jalapeño ham & bacon roll. It was soft, spicy, salty, and just the right amount of sweet from the dough. You can order finer pastries, coffee, and boba tea from the counter and eat in or take it to go. I'll be coming here every time I'm in town for sure!

It turns out it was a Korean bakery & cafe which was unexpected for the area. We got the salt bread & egg tart which were both great! They also included an extra small pastry as a bonus which was nice. As for the teas, they were on the sweeter side so I wasn't the biggest fan. I wish we could adjust the sweetness and the boba was ok, it hardened up pretty quickly. I'd return for thr pastries but not the boba.

Owner chatted with us as we ordered and ate our goodies, and it was cool to be able to see them preparing other treats in the back. The treats we had were delicious. In order, I liked shortbread cookie, butterscotch blondie, and Earl Grey scone. To be fair, I might have liked the scone more than the blondie if I'd tasted the scone (less sweet) first. My son really enjoyed the rice crispy treat (with Lucky Charms cereal for St Patty's Day) and the cookie. However he LOVED the chocolate chip cookie sandwich (filled with chocolate and vanilla cream or icing) and said he would return just for that. Our 6 treats totaled $29. At an average of almost $5 each, I'm glad this is a bit out of the way for us so we aren't tempted too often.

They do have some seating and we didn't have any problem finding a table. We started with the Shrimp Salad sandwich and Chicken salad sandwich. Both were delicious. There were plenty of shrimp salad and chicken salad. The leftovers were still good. We left room for their beignets (special) they were pretty good - not as amazing as New Orleans but pretty good. In addition, we got a few bake goods to good and a mini ham and Swiss quiche. We definitely were not disappointed. This is definitely a hidden gem.

The day of the event when we picked up our order everyone was friendly and efficient, and helped make sure we got all our food into our vehicle securely. It was plated carefully and very easy to set up at our event location, which was a bit out of town. As far as the food itself: It was amazing. The memorial had a slight tea party theme and Canapes' staff suggested ordering cocktail sandwiches along with the variety of pastries we wanted. It was three weeks ago and people are still mentioning how much they loved the sandwiches when they see my husband and I. The turkey on carrot muffins was a particular favorite. I lost track of the number of people who asked where we'd gotten the food catered. We'll definitely use Canapes for catering we need in the future.
