My family used this company over the course of about a month for a variety of jobs when we were faced with clearing out the 3 story family home. They were a real pleasure to work with and their charges are very reasonable. The thing I liked most about the group (owner Donald, his amazing and talented son Dominick ;) and wonderful assistant Samuel) was that they were all caring and compassionate people. And talk about strong! Dominick carried a full sized freezer (frozen solid inside with food) down the front porch steps so there was no chance of the tiles getting cracked by a dolly. It was pretty incredible! They maintained a willing and positive attitude when faced with some pretty unpleasant tasks and worked their butts off to get things done in an efficient manner. They listened to what we wanted and were flexible when priorities shifted. The amount of stuff they could fit into their trucks and cart away was astounding, and I really appreciated that they swept up and made sure things were tidy before leaving. Whenever we brought up yet another thing we needed them to do, their response was always, "Don't worry, we'll take care of that"...and they always did! These guys were absolutely amazing. I called on a Saturday afternoon to have construction debris hauled from my condo remodeling project and Sam showed up within an hour. After a quick (and fair) estimate they got right to work and completed the job very quickly and courteously. They also helped me remove some old appliances that had been vigorously bolted to the wall and just wouldn't come free. I will not hesitate to call them again and will recommend them enthusiastically to any of my friends or neighbors who need to get rid of some junk. You may find cheaper junk haulers on Craigslist (maybe) but most of the time you are going to get what you pay for - there is no substitute for the professionalism and efficiency these folks bring to the table. My mother's senior living apartment in Hercules needed to be emptied by the end of this month. Did some searching on Yelp and found the Junk Titans. Great reviews. I called and a professional receptionist answered and booked me 4 days in advance. Ok great. 4 days later I drive to my mother's place at what I thought was the appointed time. I called to confirm. 10 minutes later I received a professional sounding but friendly call from Sam who explained they might have to shift to an earlier afternoon schedule. I said ok. 3 minutes he called back and said we were back on! Ok great. Waited another 30 minutes and Sam called again to say they had arrived. I met Sam and Deandre in the front of the Civic Drive address. They were polite, professional and friendly. I brought them up to the apartment, they both scoped it out and quoted a very fair price. They began right away and basically emptied the apartment in a little under 2 hrs. It would have taken me a week and most likely an injured back to do the same. Not only did they do a great job, they were quiet and tried not to disturb the older adult residents. Deandre and Sam even cleaned up: swept the floors, and wiped the counters. Way beyond any hauler service I have used before. Given the professionalism, reasonable cost, and just plain great service, I would gladly recommend Junk Titans. It was hard to get a phone quote, they price by item size in their truck? but they did offer an in home estimate and possible same day haul for a queen mattress and love seat. I called on Saturday and they were able to come out on Sunday for the estimate, which was a bit higher than a previous phone quote from another company and what I expected to pay but they were willing to work with me on a price that worked for both of us and hauled off my things that day, which was great! They had an extra-difficult job, removing a very heavy sofa from a small bedroom. That involved removing windows and lifting the sofa through the window. I must start this review by saying WOW!!!! Donald made this trash hauling experience very pleasant and hassle free. Last year when I moved from my apartment I arranged for the garbage company to pick up a box spring and a few other items. The other items were very small but they had a problem picking up the items and charged me $100. Which was more than what they originally quoted me. After that I had to pray that someone took the couch and dresser that I put on the curb since the garbage company wouldn't take it. It was such a burden and I vowed not to go through a garbage company again. This time I picked 3 trash hauling companies. Donald was the 3rd company I called. I called him very early on my way to work a Friday. He answered promptly and professionally. I told him what I needed and he says that he would meet me when I got off of work to give me an estimate. He arrived no problems have me an estimate and even worked on New Year's Eve to remove the junk. I wasn't at home due to a previously scheduled engagement and Donald worked with me and trusted me to pay when I saw that the job was done. I came home later that day amazed that he and his team moved all of my unwanted junk without any problems. If you're in the Bay Area i only recommend working with donald and his team.
