My home was filled with 40 years of stuff. Okay JUNK. My basement had items from wall to wall. Marcel and Willie were efficient, worked swiftly and was professional. These guys are a GEM! At times it can be overwhelming to remove so many things from a lifetime. When I showed them how much junk that needed to be removed, they listened to my requests and went straight to work. The price is reasonable, and the response time was quick. I will be calling Junk Relief again. read more

Q and Ramiro were fast, nice and the transaction was super easy. Will you use them again.

This company is outstanding. Jose and Pablo were beasts. The rain didn't even slow them down. They were very clever and efficient at maneuvering large items through narrow spaces, which shows experience. read more

Wow. These guys were perfect. I've used 800 Junk before. This time I decided to use a completely local business, not a franchise. I sought quotes from the top rated ones on Yelp. Only 800 Junk refused to estimate. When they finally did, they ended up being the huhhest priced of everyone. Not even close to the others. I went with Junk Relief because they were extremely responsive, they showed good flexibility and their reviews were great. Well, reviews didn't lie. Tnye showed up within the first thirty minutes of the promised two hour window. They called me multiple times to let me know where they were and when they would arrive. The guys were very polite and set abiut just doing the job without delay or dilly dally. At end, they did a nice sweep up job. And they lived to their estimate. I received two follow-ups to make sure I was happy. When we do put emxt phase of demo, I know who I'm calling. read more

I've used junk relief for 5 years now and really appreciate their courteous and enthusiastic work performance. They are fast, neat and great with moving out of the way when there is alley traffic in my dead end alley. I think of them first thing when I need my construction debris hauled. Thank you, Nayeli, Pablo & Jesus!! read more

I AM SO IMPRESSED!!! I live in a 4th floor walk up with a roof deck and in the process of renovating our roof, we generated a lot of construction debris (primarily deck boards) as well as had old mini fridges, a kegerator, old patio furniture and a heavy broken gas fire pit that needed removal. I knew this was a big job given the fact that the roof was on the 5th floor and there were no elevators. I contacted JUNK Relief and Joe (the owner) responded within 20 minutes. As soon as I provided pictures, he was able to provide me with a quote and we scheduled his team to come out the next morning! There was not even an extra charge for the additional stairs! This was NOT a small job and all of the junk had to be moved through my apartment as that's the only access to the roof. Josh and his team were incredibly professional and even put down tarps to cover my floors as they moved through with their loads. Not a single scratch on my floors or my walls. Not a single complaint from the team about the need to walk up and down four flights of stairs many times. I did not think the job was going to be possible and not only did they get all the junk down, they even swept the roof AND the floors in my apartment before they left! I cannot recommend this company more. I would give them six stars if I could. read more

Just had Darryle and Albert come to remove my Fridge, Dishwasher and Stove from my third floor walk up. They were on time and super friendly even on this 90+ degree day! Thanks Darryle and Albert for doing such a great job navigating the stairs and getting the job done! read more

Could not have gone easier, sent pics of what was needed to be picked up. Paid, a reasonable quote, over the phone and a couple hours later everything was gone with pictures to show the cleanup. Excellent service, everybody should strive to make things this easy for the customer. read more

I had a lot of trepidation when I phoned but was met with a cheerful professional voice that put me at ease and throughout the whole process it has been amazing. They showed up right on time. They were professional, nice and considerate. They gave me an estimate that was spot on and so they got right to work. Cleared the place out damaged nothing and left the place clean. Q and Edwin were fantastic. read more

I had to have a bed removed from my property. The men were very professional and personable. Instead of saying to the dispatcher that it's hard to find a parking space. I instead told the dispatcher that they would have a place to park. I made sure that the item they were picking up was secure so no problem carrying it. You have to remember, there are other people using this service not just you. So make sure everything runs smoothly. It makes their job easier to do. The texts were very efficient in letting me know when exactly they were arriving. They are very reasonable! I will be recommending Junk Relief to others. read more

We had the unattainable task to empty out a family member's house who was a decades long textbook hoarder. I am a professional organizer but not to this level and it was too much for us physically to haul out. Desperate for some help, we hired Junk Relief. The first day, Team Leader Michael came with a smile on his face, lots of energy and with kind suggestions on how they can help us. Once we started sorting and packing the way Michael suggested, we started moving much faster. Then, Pablo was sent. He was the most amazing and hardest, honest worker ever. He was a gift from God and worked in some very difficult and nasty areas without complaining.Ask for Pablo! :D We filed up a total of 5 (of the largest) dumpsters later as well as about six of their trucks. Thye took it all and sorted later and donated. The company is GREAT and worth every penny. Grateful. read more

I had a great experience with Junk Relief! We cleaned out a grandparents home that had three floors of stuff that had collected since the 70's. All of the men that came through with the MANY trucks we filled were helpful, pleasant and in particularly thoughtful dealing with our elderly family member in early dementia stages who was loosing a life time's worth of accumulated possessions. I've done this before with another grandparent with dementia and Junk Relief and their crew made what in my past experiences was an extremely stressful and anxious process surprisingly easy. They were very flexible with scheduling and having to shift times and were able to set up in week and sometimes next day appointments. We couldn't have done it without them and they have my highest recommendation for anyone looking to offload items in any capacity. read more

Had a large couch I needed to get out of an apartment with some tight hallways and these guys did a great job from start to finish. Responded very quickly to my initial message and gave me a quote right away. Arrived on time and were in and out in 30 minutes. Were careful moving the furniture not to damage anything else. No complaints whatsoever and would 100% use these guys again in the future. read more

Excellent. Although the first crew consisted of an older man and a very young one who were unable to remove a large piece of exercise equipment from third floor, we contacted management and they immediately sent over another very capable crew who did a fantastic job. Very impressive accountability. Will use them again. read more

Great communication, was able to quickly and efficiently remove my items within 24 hours of calling, also fair pricing compared to others

Hired Junk Relief to remove some large furniture from our storage unit in Chicago. They showed up right on time, at the early part of the quoted time block. The time block was reasonable, too. None of that "we'll be there between 9 am and 4 pm" nonsense. They were quick, professional, and the cost ended up being LOWER than the already very affordable quote!!! We paid about $145 to move a giant bed frame and recliner couch. So much less than I expected!! We are chipping away at emptying out that storage unit and we will definitely be calling again when we're ready for another dump!! read more

We had five proposals, some higher and some lower, but Junk Relief sounded the most reasonable. We were not disappointed as the booking, scheduling and pick up were all straight forward and pleasant. We were very pleased that upon inspection of our job they requoted a rate lower than the low end of the range quoted. We recommend this service company highly! read more

I've hired JUNK Relief twice over the past year to remove furniture from homes, once from my house and once from my sister's condo. Both were large pieces of furniture that required navigating winding stairs. In both cases, I had easy, smooth experiences with JUNK Relief. I was able to book both services online without a phone call (key for Millennials like me) and was able to get a variety of times with short notice. Both times they showed up on time, and were polite, helpful, and speedy, finishing the job in less than 5 minutes. The second time was during the COVID-19 pandemic, and they arrived with masks and gloves and were great about social distancing. JUNK Relief is a pleasure to do business with, and I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again. read more

The final price matched the estimate, which was a pleasent surprise. They removed what I told them to remove, and they didn't break anything or complain. So as far as value, I did think it was worth the money. However, they didn't clean up after themselves. Also, I was paying by credit card and cleared that beforehand with their phone receptionist. It comes time to pay, an ind they pushed me towards Venho. Im not set up for it. I didn't think they were going to accept my form of payment until I said that they said that it was okay to pay by credit card read more

Had a great experience with Junk Relief. Joe the owner was fast and responsive and provided honest pricing. I was able to secure a weekend appointment with 48 hours notice. The two guys assigned came and got down to work quickly, finishing my job, hauling a mass of crushed cardboard, packing materials, and styrofoam plus a broken tv down 2 flights in 20 minutes. Highly recommend and no surprises, unlike 800-Got-Junk. If I need similar help in the future would be happy to hire Junk Relief. Thanks! read more

We received fantastic help from Junk Relief today. Great communication setting up the appointment. Amazing job from start to finish. Communication was super strong from the beginning. Had a 24ft pool and deck to be removed. Reached out and within a week it was removed. Great experience with Junk Relief! They were in and out within 10 min and very professional.

I used Junk Relief on the recommendation of a neighbor. Customer service was great- quick replies and scheduling was very easy. They actually gave me a quote ahead of time, which 1-800-got-junk couldn't. The price ended up being less than they quoted and the guys came during the scheduled appointment and very quickly moved everything away. Great price, great service! read more

my tenant left a place completed trashed. She left all the furniture, piles of black trash bags in each room, trashed scattered throughout the place and a fridge filled with food.It looked more like a dumpster than an apartment. These guys sent me an estimate after I sent them pictures. I am in Canada and cannot be in Chicago. I only had my trust that the company will do the job honestly. Alex scheduled the team same day. The team leader contacted me while int he apartment, gave me necessary updates. After they were done they sent me pictures. I paid with the card over the phone. Done! In a whiff. Dealing with the mess was stressful enough, I cannot thank these guys to make it so easy and smooth. Oh and the price they charged was best than other 4 companies I contacted. read more

First of all, the company responded very quickly to my request for a quote. They were much more reasonable than other quotes I received. They came out the very next day! The two guys that removed my hot tub had to saw it into pieces as it was half below the deck surface. They worked nonstop and did a fabulous job. They did an excellent job cleaning up and were very polite. I also had them take away two large old treadmills. I can't say enough about this company! I found Junk Relief when my normal service provider wasn't able to align schedules for a large pickup. Long story short - I was blown away by the attention to detail I experienced from the onsite crew AND the back office team. Junk Relief - Porch full of Demolition waste - Junk Removal & Hauling Near Me - Chicago, Illinois

Great experience. We just moved to Palatine a couple months back, and our previous owners left a handful of items I had to deal with - spare tire, two compost bins, granite pieces from a kitchen remodel, planks of wood, and a smaller wood-burning outdoor fire pit. I submitted an inquiry in Yelp to have local, small businesses field quotes to get rid of this stuff. Junk Relief was one of the first businesses to respond, are competitive on pricing, and offered same-day service. They came in $50 under their closest competitor, provided a three hour time window to work within, and because I was busy hosting Zoom calls, offered to text me with confirmation of appointment and updates on arrival time. Net: these guys are responsive, competitive on pricing, and timely in their work. It was pouring rain on us when the guys were here, which prompted them to work faster. I think they were here and finished in 20 minutes. Expensive for 20 minutes worth of work, but worth it! As follow-up, they sent a thank you note for letting them do their work. Little things like showing your customers you appreciate their business go a long way. It's so simple, yet so many companies just don't do it. Thanks! read more
