These were reputable organizations, but I wanted to do business with someone local for transparency. It was a blessing an on-line inquiry led me to JLS Diamonds and Jim Dinse. The auction house companies could only offer me a fraction of what I wanted for my diamond solitaire ring; less their commission, and only if they could sell it. On the contrary, Jim actually found a buyer for my ring before I even met with him; and before my ring left my possession. In fact, Jim paid me exactly what I wanted for my ring via cash transfer on the spot! Jim turned a stormy time in my life into a rainbow with a pot of gold! I could not be more grateful! One Month Later ..... I was so grateful and impressed with Jim's professionalism, honesty and integrity, I returned a month later to sell him a coin collection. I trusted Jim implicitly. Jim paid me TOP DOLLAR for it and I was actually shocked at its value.! I am definitely going to shop with JLS Diamonds and Jim Dinse FIRST for my jewelry needs before shopping retail in the future! If you are looking for a resource in this market don't even think about it; CALL JIM AT JLS DIAMONDS NOW AND MAKE AN APPT! You won't be disappointed!

They placed the order, we paid, and told us 4-6 weeks. Never heard anything. Almost 3 months go by (wedding already past mind you) and STILL NOTHING. So husband called- they never placed the order. They place it then. Go back in person after a total of 4 months went by since October they have no update or record of order. So we thankfully got a number to someone higher up (from a different location) who actually had answers and was extremely helpful, understanding and embarrassed by our experience thus far . He himself placed the order communicated well and reached out when it was ready at the Fairfield location. We go to pick up and there is a sign because they're on lunch "back at 4:15"- of course but that's okay everyone needs a lunch, we. Will wait it's already been 6 months what's 20 more minutes? Well they didn't get back at 4:15p they came back at 4:30!!!! The lack of organization, accountability and empathy for customers is astounding. That guy Steve needs a raise, and Fairfield seriously needs to look into their employees and business practices. Will not be returning.

I give them zero Stars. They were very disrespectful and the way that they talk to me yes I was very upset and I was maybe yelling a little bit but they could have been a lot more professional in the way that they approached me acting like I didn't make a payment yes I did it's not my fault that your employ quoted me a certain amount that I did pay. I am a disabled man on a fixed income so when I pay my bills I pay them in full she said it was a full payment not my fault I used to have a good experience with the older people that used to work in this facility but the people that I have dealt with lately are horrible and I will not return and I will let my family and friends know what a horrible experience that they will have if they choose to go there

A negative experience yesterday at the outlet left me totally exasperated, so I came out to the Fairfield store in hopes they could help me. I was met by Marc the store manager. He was so welcoming & friendly, I was immediately at ease. I explained my issue and he was very accommodating. Not only did he fix the issue & make it right, he helped me pick out a couple pieces that were absolutely perfect for my growing collection. I started collecting in December 2025 & in just a few months, I already have 2 full charm bracelets & about halfway finished on my third. I love the entire concept of Pandora. I've had such a blast collecting, so I don't plan on stopping anytime soon! My husband never has to stress off of figuring out what to buy me for gifts, he's a regular customer himself in that sense. We will both gladly drive the extra distance for superior service! Marc is a real asset to the company & should definitely be appreciated. I came in furious, but left satisfied & light hearted, because Marc has such a great sense of humor, I needed exactly that. I'll be back for sure!

Whoever this sales associate is, train him on how to acknowledge customers, it'll be much appreciated, especially if we are there to spend our hard earned money.

I purchased my Tacori engagement ring and wedding band from Padis in San Francisco in 2017. After…read moremoving to Napa, we began using the local Padis showroom for routine maintenance. Looking back, what began as excitement over one of the most meaningful purchases of my life has unfortunately become a series of disappointing experiences. When we were shopping for my engagement ring, I was shown and encouraged to try on a stunning 2-carat Tacori ring that I absolutely fell in love with. Only after I had become attached to that specific ring did we have a conversation about budget, and I ultimately left with the 1-carat version after pressure from both the sales associate and my husband. While I understand budgets are real, in hindsight I wish I had never been shown a ring that was outside the price range we had already communicated. Later, we returned to purchase my wedding band and relied on the same associate's guidance to select a band that would complement my engagement ring. It wasn't until years later, during a routine service appointment, that another Padis associate asked why we hadn't purchased the matching band and pointed out that my engagement ring and wedding band were actually from two different Tacori collections. I was surprised and disappointed to learn this, as we had specifically relied on Padis' expertise to help us choose a matching set. I brought my ring in for its regularly scheduled "spa treatment" and was informed that all maintenance is performed at the San Francisco flagship location, which would require a longer turnaround time. I understood and gladly left my ring for servicing. After a month without any updates, I called to check on the status and was told it would be back that week. When I arrived at the Napa showroom to pick it up, I was assisted by a different associate whose appearance and demeanor were unexpectedly unprofessional for a luxury jeweler. The experience only deteriorated from there. As she handed me my ring, she dropped it on the floor. Aside from a casual "oops," there was no apology or acknowledgment. I remarked that in all the years I had owned and worn this ring, I had never dropped it. As I inspected the freshly cleaned ring, I immediately noticed that one of the diamonds in the band looked gray and lacked the brilliance of the others. When I pointed it out, the associate insisted she couldn't see anything wrong. My husband confirmed he saw the same discoloration. Rather than investigating, she suggested the diamond had probably always looked that way and I was only noticing because the ring had just been cleaned. I explained that I had worn and admired this ring every day for years and knew it intimately. This was absolutely new. Only after another associate examined the ring was the actual problem identified: polishing compound had become trapped behind the diamond during servicing, causing the discoloration. While I appreciated that he identified the issue, what was most disappointing was the complete lack of accountability from the original associate. There was no apology for dismissing my concerns or for the mistake itself--only a comment that I "had better eyes." To make matters worse, Padis was unable to correct the problem in-house. My ring had to be sent to Tacori for repair, leaving me without my engagement ring for an additional two months. What should have been a routine maintenance appointment ultimately kept me without my ring for three long months. Taken individually, each of these experiences may seem like a mistake or a misunderstanding. Together, they paint a picture of poor guidance, inconsistent expertise, careless handling of treasured jewelry, dismissive customer service, and a lack of accountability when things go wrong. An engagement ring and wedding band are among the most meaningful purchases many people will ever make. I chose Padis because I believed I was investing not only in beautiful jewelry but also in expert guidance and lifelong service. Unfortunately, my experience has left me disappointed in that decision and with very little confidence in entrusting them with my jewelry in the future.
