There are 2 areas to fish from. They have a Jon Boat, peddle boat, and kayaks that are available for free on a first come/first served basis but only during office hours 9-4pm. There is a bigger boat for rent but it was broken. There were lots of trees and shade which we liked. We stayed in the Ash cabin. It was not great. It is old. The "comfort zones" which we later found out were heaters were on and set to 80° when we arrived. It was very warm inside when we arrived and we didn't figure out until too late that we were turning the heaters down to cool things off not off. There were no manuals to help instruct us on temperature control and we had to text the after hours number to get help. It took 2+ days to cool this place down. They encouraged us to open windows at night but not many of the windows (none upstairs) had screens. There is no cooling unit upstairs but they brought us some box fans which didn't help much. The plumbing upstairs was slow and had to be snaked because the sink wouldn't drain. Fridge took some time to cool down but then worked fine. Couches are worn and you sink down into them. We read that every cabin has a fireplace but ours didn't which was disappointing. There was 1 smart tv. We tried to log into Disney but someone else was already logged in. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling but then the TV needed a pin that we didn't have. WiFi worked well. The kitchen was clean and had what we needed. The blinds are dusty. We probably wouldn't stay here again unless there were some significant updates.

Everything from the staff at check-in, maintenance staff we encountered on the grounds, the facilities etc. all exceeded expectations. There are 3 Jacuzzis on site, which was one of the main reasons we chose to stay here. There is one at the back of the complex, which is covered and is the LARGEST hot tub we have ever been in. Everything was well kept, manicured, clean and well thought out. The room we stayed in was the studio with Murphy bed. At first I was skeptical when my Husband booked it however it was SPACIOUS for a studio and the layout allows a ton of natural light, they even leave a "welcome" basket, which was a great touch! Every single room here will have a view of the woods, so you won't ever be disappointed! The only downside I can see is that there is no A/C, and while it is the Mountains, it still gets hot in the summer. I would not stay here during the Summer when temps reach almost 100.

We checked in with our 2 bedroom confirmation paper, trudged Upstairs carrying 4 luggage, looking for 2 bedrooms and to my surprise seeing only 1 bedroom!!! What!! The check-in clerk did not say any word about a 1 bedroom at all! I had to call Wyndham to which they informed me "an agent" canceled our 2 bedroom and we were notified by email. We were not!!! What if we had other people traveling with us? No apologies were made at all! And the toilet paper was cheaper than an outhouse! And they call themselves Worldmark?! Their water was horrible, made me itch from linen and showers.

The snow was gone, the…read moretemperatures were mild, and the sun was out most days peeking through the tall pine trees. The resort was not very full, as often happens during this time period. That is what makes it a very special time in my opinion. Time to think and reflect, do projects, binge shows from your favorite streaming service, take long walks in the neighborhood and along nearby trails, and truly pull back from the normal day to day. With my dog nearby, it was a truly rejuvenating week. The units have everything one needs to be comfortable. Full kitchens, comfortable furnishings, two bedrooms and two bathrooms, a deck with furniture and a grill for your outside moments, and TVs, strong wifi, garage, and even a washer and dryer. I highly recommend Quality Hill for a great change of scenery, especially if you live in the Phoenix or Tucson areas. Pinetop is at 7300' in elevation, so the air is clean and the temps are much cooler. Hope you plan a visit soon!

As such each condo is decorated and equipped differently. Ours was comfortable and well equipped...even had a cappuccino machine but no instructions for use. Location wise Pinetop Showlow is great..it's les than 90 miles to Petrified Forest, Meteor Crater, Ft Apache, Sunrise Ski, Springerville ( great museum) Kinishba Ruins, etc. The resort has an excellent clubhouse with gym, board games, etc. If you like that kind of stuff. Now you can't be out doing stuff all the time..so I've got one item that got me...and it gets me at many resorts...it's streaming TV...impossible in most instances to get local news. Often limited channel choices unless you want to sign into your own Netflix etc. But why would a resort in this day and age select a streaming service that doesn't include live as on Dish or Cable versions of Fox or CNN or MSNBC...yes...I'm kind of a news junkie. Oh...almost forgot....this place has a garage for every unit....wow!!!! That's nice.

But it…read morewas slightly less expensive booking directly AND it was VERY NICE to have the different rooms explained to me by a live person before I picked a room. They have some 2 person jacuzzi tubs I would have gotten if available. That would be awesome. I agree with all the 5 star reviews. I've never seen a 4.9 star average anywhere and this place deserves it. I was in the smallest room on the 1st floor. I took a pic of one set of stairs. I travel with a lot of stuff to lug in by myself so I was thrilled with my little room with easy access. It was wonderful. The bed was great. It has 2 very big full pillows and 2 somewhat thinner pillows but I travel with my own pillows so I didn't test them. They look good unless you need very flat or soft pillows. If so bring your own old flat goose down like I do. (:-) I took a LOT of pictures of everything. Especially the breakfast foods. There is no hot breakfast. Just YUMMY stuff. Breakfast is in the lounge and all the rooms are well marked when you walk around. Nobody is onsite. Everything has codes to unlock. You receive a very helpful text with everything you need to know. Keep your phone with you when you leave the room in case someone locks a door that's usually unlocked and you can't remember the code. The LOUNGE is easily found as you wander. If I lived near here I would call this a great place for a ROMANTIC GETAWAY. They even have a wine bottle opener in the lounge. And of course a 2 person jacuzzi can be quite romantic although it would also have been therapeutic for my old bones and muscles all by myself! There are old fashioned touches like DVD players in the rooms and DVD movies to borrow in the lounge. There are also some games and nice game tables and chairs to play games in the lounge. It's wonderful here. (:-) This place is LOVELY and I recommend it highly!!! If you find this review helpful please VOTE!

Charming Stay at the Heritage Inn - Twice in One Week!…read more We initially chose the Heritage Inn in Snowflake, AZ based on a Hotels.com search. It looked charming and was reasonably priced--and it more than lived up to our expectations. This is a delightful little inn where each room is uniquely decorated with its own color or theme. There is no on-site staff, but check-in is easy with a code provided, similar to many vacation rentals. Our rooms were tastefully decorated, and the beds were extremely comfortable. The guest lounge is modest but well-stocked with snack foods, which also serve as the continental breakfast. It's not fancy, but everything is high quality and thoughtfully presented. One great amenity is the Tesla destination charger. Just be sure to arrange in advance to have it turned on. During our first stay, I didn't ask ahead and couldn't find it, but the next morning the staff quickly responded and turned it on. On our return trip a week later, we booked again last minute. Even though the staff had gone home for the day, they still found someone to come back and activate the charger for us--outstanding customer service! We've now stayed in both the Red Roost and the Blue Denim rooms. Both are adorable, but we slightly preferred Blue Denim--it's downstairs, a bit roomier, and has a comfortable easy chair. The price difference is minimal and worth it, though we wouldn't hesitate to stay in any of the rooms. Conveniently located, the inn is right next door to Streets on Main, where we had a delicious meal. There's also a highly rated Mexican restaurant on the other side that we plan to try next time. We'll definitely stay here again!

The dining table had split in 2 places, and you could see lots of junk in the splits. The baseboards were filthy, the kitchen cabinets had salt and coffee and who knows what else spilled on the shelves, and all the cabinets needed cleaning. Pillow shams were draped across the pillows- they were too cheap to buy more pillows to put into them. No hangers in the closet. The sheets looked dirty- not sure they had been washed after the last guest. There's only a small section of shore for the lake- surrounding areas are fenced off. No room for dogs to run and play either. No place for kids to play. They do have boat, kayak and paddle boat rentals for a decent price. We scheduled and paid for 2 nights plus a pet fee, and left after one. They called me the next morning, and did not ask anything about our stay and had no interest in why we left after one night. Opinion- poorly run business, no interest in cleanliness. This is a sketchy party place at night.

The owner, Chuck, and his manager, Stewart, were super nice and made sure we had everything we needed or wanted. They really try. That being said, the place needs updating. It did have a fridge and the bare necessities in the kitchen but the one bedroom "Villa" is very small. The table has 3 chairs but only 2 people can sit down at the table because the fridge is so close. We were able to bring our dog and it was only $19 for him to stay. The lake is full of seaweed but a lot of people were fishing. There is no way I would swim in it. It is nice having gas grills but only a couple of them worked. (Charcoal could not be used because of the extreme fire danger.) The unit was very dark, even with the lights on. Some of the lightbulbs were out and the ceiling lights very dirty. There was a nice green area that had games, a fire pit, places for the kids to run and play. Everyone was very nice and down to earth. We enjoyed our stay.
