Everything about our visit said classic, old-school Mexican restaurant. The basket of chips arrived perfectly warmed. My wife's burrito was chock full of moist white meat chicken, and my carnitas (made with chicken) turned out to go perfectly with refried beans, rice, and soft, hot tortillas. Our table had inset tiles decorated with chili peppers, and the walls and arches featured rustic, colorful tiles as well as photos of local kids sports teams (presumably sponsored by the restaurant). All in all, a bright, comfortable, welcoming space.

Headed in for all you can eat Taco Tuesday in the Cantina & was not disappointed. As per the sign…read moreof photo posted, there are 3 meat options for one's tacos ordered & of course also soft or crunchy tacos; sides are available at additional charge. And as is common, purchase of a beverage; Pepsi products are available for an option of NA along with coffee & tea. I tried one crunchy taco of each meat choice to begin. Each taco was filled with the meat & usual toppings- they did not scrimp, much to my delight. It was hard to find room to get some salsa incorporated into each taco After the first round of tacos, I decided I had preference for the birria & chicken meats for my tacos, so finished my meal with 2 more chicken & 1 birria for a total of 6- numO All of the servers were very delightful & attentive. As more diners move in for their taco Tuesday meals, there can be a little bit of a wait time for additional tacos, but there's always chips & salsa to fall back on. Speaking of which, their table salsa is mild to medium & seemed to be freshly made in house. I'm guessing that for those who like a hotter salsa, it may be available upon request. Bottled sauces were also seen upon other's tables, but not mine & I considered that nor did I ask for any. This restaurants Taco Tuesday is a good one & I plan to return. During happy hour time, the Cantina does get filled up quickly, so either go early like I did or a bit later if wanting to avoid the crowd, otherwise enjoy the lively times!
