Not good not great not amazing but simply fantastic!!!! The beat tacos in the northwest hands down. Probably in the nation. These tacos are special. I tried to replicate them but they must have a secret ingredient. Not to mentions the orange sauce!!! Wow above and beyond in every category. The staff is so nice quick and inexpensive. Everyone I've showed this place to says it's the best taco they have ever tasted. Go there and you will never regret it. I travel 45 minutes at least 3 times a month to enjoy their tacos. read more

Are they the BEST tacos I have ever had? Close, actually. I had a trip up to Seattle this week and I started to get hungry around North Vancouver, so I called up my sister who used to live across the bridge from Longview to see if there were any "Must Try" spots. She raved about Juniors. So I set the GPS and away I went. The location itself is a little small in regard to seating (Do Not Try To Take A Group), but I got lucky and there was a table left. My server was AMAZING. She was super attentive and not overbearing. I ended up ordering 3 individual tacos and a side of chips and salsa. They are street style tacos with the meat/onion/cilantro toppings with 2 pan fried tortillas. I personally prefer this over the uncooked tortillas that other places still do. In order of my favorite to least was #1 Asada #2 Chicken and #3 Pork. I think the pork would have been better, but the tortilla was a little overdone on that one. The chips were maybe my least favorite part. They appear to do home style deep fried tortilla chips, but they also had the red and green tortilla chips mixed in, also lightly fried. I don't think they make those ones, probably a time savings thing. I am not sure. It was just confusing especially considering how DELICIOUS their salsa is. I will for sure be back when I have time in the area. I want to try more from this menu. Keep it up, guys! read more

Really enjoyed our visit to Juniors Tacos the other weekend. We were looking for an inexpensive lunch spot in the Longview area and found this place on Yelp. Once we drove up I knew it was exactly what I was looking for. I love that it's an old Wendy's turned into a Mexican restaurant. It's a small restaurant only with about 10 tables. We took a seat by the window. The staff was super nice and friendly. Food was excellent. My wife had the taquitos. For only $8, it was a steal. These aren't your Costco-style taquitos. This was like 3 small fried burritos cut in half so you have 6 healthy taquito pieces and they were loaded with chicken. I had the Colorado burrito which at first looked huge but I ate it all (I was surprisingly hungry that day). It comes with your typical Mexican restaurant re-fried beans and rice. Moved to Longview about 2 years ago, tried juniors at that point and got the taquitos and tacos. Taquitos were nothing like any taquitos/rolled tacos I ever had before, flour tortillas? Really? Nothing good about them. Then the tacos were the greasiest I had ever had so I haven't been back in 2 years until last week. Yuck! Again the greasiest ground beef tacos we had ever eaten. Even after reading reviews I still can't understand why anyone would like this garbage. Sorry. Never again. Keep on going there if grease & clogged arteries are your thing. read more

Nobody is perfect, but junior's is just about the closest you can get! Fresh ingredients, quick service and the flavors take me back home. I grew up in East L.A., and this place is as close to my mom & aunties cooking that I have found north of Portland. Let's face it - we've all had the same Mexican food at innumerable little restaurants in innumerable little towns. It becomes quite difficult to tell one taco stand from another burrito shop after being alive for a while. Junior's Tacos is NOT another one of the bland masses. It is a tiny place that exists just off the beaten path of downtown Longview, but it's home to some of the tastiest Mexican food I've ever had. Their sauces are magnificent. The more hot sauce (the red one) is unlike anything I've had and balances heat with taste perfectly. The milder green sauce is tangy and fresh. Both are equally worthy of slathering onto anything you get. And I'd recommend getting the pork tacos. The pork is sizzlin' crispy and marvelously seasoned, the tortillas hot and never soggy, and it's all topped with just the right amount of veggies. If you're not in the taco mood, the chimichanga and fajita burrito are just as good. Try the ground beef in the chimi even if you're not usually a ground beef person. I'm not, and I still find it heavenly. Take time to find this place and you'll start visiting a couple times a month like we do. It's an excellent deal and a true diamond in the rough. read more

The food at Juniors is acceptable if the chimichanga and chili Colorado burrito we got were representative of the rest of their food. I would eat here again if I was very hungry and had zero other options. The food is just mediocre as far as taste and quality, but on the pricier side. Amazing tacos and the best salsas! I had the Carne asada and lengua tacos and both were so delicious! The tortillas were soft with a tiny bit of a crunch from the grill, the meat was flavorful and soft, the salsas were amazing! The onion and cilantro were fresh and crisp, the lime was perfect! We went in 15 minutes until closing. The staff was super cool about it - which many places aren't but they were very nice. The place is immaculate, not a speck of dust or dirt anywhere.
