Don't go for the rice. I've always been a fan of fried rice, but this is just steamed yellow rice with some items thrown in. I spoke to the people at the counter before I gave them a second chance and they assured me it would be done properly. Not only is their food put together quickly - their staff will say anything to get you out just as fast. I have to agree with another post that mentioned thick breading around their egg rolls. This is true with the dumplings and seasme chicken as well. If you want to try poorly made Chinese food that is covered in batter and fried - eat here. read more

Do NOT order from this place!!!!! I'm currently sitting in the doctors office cringing from stomach pains from their food. Ordered their general tsao's chicken and when I got it the "chicken" was gray and undercooked. Took one bite of it and had to throw it away. Great food! I usually order from here when I'm at school at ramapo I want something other than the food there. Only 10 minutes away, easy parking, and I love that you can order online. I usually just get a lo mein lunch special with fried rice and shrimp. I ask them to make it a little spicy for me and it's always ready on time. read more

Worst Chinese food ever. Ordered chicken and broccoli--- they gave me broccoli and no chicken in dish. Gummy vegetable dumplings--we called to complain and woman told us that she'll give us one dollar credit towards our next order---ONE DOLLAR!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? We brought back the food and demanded our money back. They were hesitant but after a few more complaints in front of other customers, they conceded. Don't eat here!!! Jun Lung has good food. My issue is that they charged me 50 center per sushie roll for *brown rice* on the roll. Give me a break! 'They can kiss my hinee! I'm going to Baumgarts in Ridgewood, or to Terry's in Ramsey, or to Oriental Garden in Suffern where the brown rice is free. The food at those places are just as good. read more

So this is one of the only places I will order sushi from its awesome. I did however not really like anything else. The only thing I could order as a meal and somewhat enjoy is the sweet and sour chicken. It's okay but the rice is always awful. read more

I'm not really a sushi person so but because of a co worker i decided to try some from this place. I got the California Roll which i highly suggest to someone who is starting out with sushi, and i also got shrimp tempura which was out of this world. On another occasion I had there chicken with broccoli but it was really soupy. It was really great too because we had it delivered and the person on the phone asked if we wanted the sushi paired off, "we had a huge order." Give it a try, you wont be disappointed! read more

I order from here at least once a week. It is always great. The service is quick, and the staff is friendly. They remember your name, and generally what you like to order. I have actually never eaten inside, but they recently expanded and the dining area looks great. read more

The sushi here is great. I come here a lot with my family and the food is consistently delicious. It's our go-to sushi place. I haven't tried any of their chinese food, but as far as the sushi is concerned it's definitely worth a visit. My boyfriend and I usually go to another Japanese and Chinese restaurant combination,this time we choose Jun lung,everything was fine ,except there weren't very many vegetables in vegetable lo mein. I got vegetable tempura crisp and fresh, the dipping sauce was ice cold. I'm used to getting it warm. Egg rolls were excellent. All in all it was average ,we will try it again. It does not take 2 hours to cook food and deliver it . Not worth the wait . I will go elsewhere next time .

We ordered some sushi and a noodle dish. All sushi were good but the other dish was not so good. I may go back for the sushi.

One of our "go to" places for Chinese food, depending on what we are in the mood for. My current favorite there is Shrimp Fried Noodles. The fried noodles are packaged separately so they don't get soggy and these use jumbo shrimp. The Young Chow Wonton soup is delightful, with a nicely flavored broth, four wontons and shrimp, shredded chicken and pork. When I'm in the mood for sushi, I put my order in, get "threaded" at Pink's and, when I'm done, my food is ready. Great sushi, but I wish they would put some wasabi on the sashimi. read more

I really like this place's food. I have only had it delivered, so I cannot comment on the ambience of the restaurant. I have tried a lot of different stuff on the menu and I enjoyed just about all of it. The sesame beef and chicken and the sweet and sour chicken are particularly tasty. Their healthy menu is also generally tasty. I also love their miso soup and sushi. The only thing I would not recommend is the soft shell crab. I didn't care for that. This is the best chinese place that I have tried in the area. I would recommend it to others. read more

Jun Lung is amazing because they are very accommodating of my celiac disease. Trying new restaurants is a very harrowing experience for me and I've never gotten glutened by them. I just leave them very specific instructions and they follow them very carefully. As a side note, the sushi is also delicious. read more

ive been eating at this place for 2 years. I thought they were decent but way overpriced when the sushi started getting smaller I stopped ordering. after a while I tried them again I spend an average of 40-50 $ with these guys every week I asked them to exchange the soup for salad and they tell me no. since the salad is literally a couple of keafs on a plate it cant cost them more than 20 cents. it is the final straw with them. its not worth the money or poor service and occasional bad fish read more

This use to be the only place I would eat chinese food but they have changed over the years. I think the food has gotten greaser and the quality of it just is not the same. I also believe the service has gotten bad over the past year or so. I think it is the better places near Mahwah, I just wish it had the same quality and service it did a couple of years ago. read more

My husband and I live down the road from Jun Lung Chinese Restaurant in Mahwah. Although it is easy to miss the restaurant if you are driving by, the restaurant is clean, the service is good, and the food is great and reasonably prices. We always get the Young Chow fried rice and sesame chicken. Their sushi is great. I prefer the Japanese dishes, while my husband loves their Chinese menu items. read more

I don't typically write reviews, however this experience was so terrible that I wanted to share with anyone who is on the fence about ordering from Jun Lung. There was a hair in one of the dishes that we ordered from here (a thick black hair), which was completely gross. To make matters worse, I called them to have a new dish sent to our house and the woman who answered was completely rude and said "We are busy" and then proceeded to hang up on me. I called back again and had to wait 1 hour for another dish to be delivered and they refused to refund our $ for the meal. Nasty food and nasty service. read more
