One guy told me the price for the silver I wanted to sell, I had some Libertads, serialized German mint bars still wrapped in their original plastic as well as some Britannia mint silver bullion and some Krugerrands. I asked what he could do just for all the silver bullion I mentioned above from all those different mints and he said his price which I was kinda shocked by. Since he didn't know anything about the paper currency or ancient coins he called over his boss who might've also been the owner he took a look but there was a lot to go through and the store was really busy so I felt bad and said don't worry about the ancient coins and paper currency what can you do for the silver bullion and his number is exactly what I expecting to get in return which was a pretty significant difference than than the first guys number. He clearly was much more knowledgeable about the silver bullion I had and the mints they came from.

I hope a pawn shop is your last resort, but if you have to....this one isn't so bad. The folks here are pretty friendly. I have always been treated with respect. The line is usually long, so be prepared to wait a bit. Understand, you will get a fraction of what your item is worth - that's just the way it goes. Took it to another jeweler to have it tested, and parts of it stuck to a magnet -- a clear sign it's not real gold, since genuine gold isn't magnetic. When I went back to raise the issue, instead of addressing it, they told me not to come back. Getting misrepresented metal purity twice from the same store is one thing, but being told not to return after catching it is what really says it all. Be careful buying "18k" or "14k" pieces here -- get everything independently tested before you leave the store.
