A colorful and fun indoor place for kid parties. Great inflatable slides, plenty of room to run around. The staff was friendly and helpful. But it's way overpriced. We paid close to $500 (!!) for a birthday party of less than 2 hours for about 15 kids, Ouch. They don't allow you to bring any food or drinks beside the birthday cake. Not even some fruits or veggie platters for the adults. They only allow you to buy what they offer, which is low-quality pizza and sodas. Served on cheap, thin paper plates with little or no napkins. (At comparable places around Newton, Watertown etc they provide nice quality paper plates etc with Happy Birthday themes). There were three staff members at our party, which was wasteful and disturbing, one would have been enough. I don't need a guy guarding the pizza boxes and doing a favor dispensing, I'd rather have parents serve their kids generously. Overall we felt that the young staff members were nice and friendly, but the management policy could be better. If they charge such high prices, why not be generous at least with drinking water in the party room, like with large pitchers and recyclable plastic cups? How about good paper plates and napkins? How about providing a recycling bin, for those who care?.. Before the party, I called them on Friday noon and again on Saturday, about two hours before the party. No one was available to take my call... I didn't know if they have a freezer for an ice cream cake, so I bought a regular one. Later I learned they do have a freezer, but it was too late. In the second inflatable room, with the big dinosaur, there were also video games. We felt those were a needless distraction, we wanted the kids to climb, jump and slide, not waste time and money on shooting with machine guns. Quite inappropriate for little kids. The space was smelly, as the ventilation was not great. Overall- we would have felt much better if the price was reasonable, but considering the quality and services- it's way overpriced. Maybe it's worth it if you do a joint party of two kids, and split the cost. read more

I would give a zero if possible. I booked the 2 hour party package over the phone for my 5 and 3 YO birthday party. Got confirmation emails and confirmed the food the week before. Day of the party we get there 15 mins early with the birthday kids and cakes, they tell us we aren't booked and there's nothing they could do. JumpTrax ruined not one but both of my boys birthdays. I had to text 17 parents to tell them to turn around. Complete nightmare! Don't book your parties here! read more

Where do I begin? As soon as I walked in the door, I wasn't greeted with a hi how are you or oh you are the birthday boys mother, I was accosted by the woman working the front desk. She was yelling at me about my balloons and if they were weighted and that if they weren't weighted they needed to be tied down immediately. So I continued to the party room to tie the balloons down and she then yelled down the hall way at me that if the balloons were not weighted I needed to tie them. I went into the party room put down a bag and she was in the room yelling again that the balloons need to be tied down. I said I heard you and I'm going to tie them down. She then said very flip to me "well your guest would be pretty unhappy if your balloons set off the fire alarms and they have to wait in the cold because of you." Seriously? But I should have known she was a little off when she left me a 10 minute voice mail about her not being able to get to the facility until the earliest 2:30 because she goes to school in Rhode Island and it takes longer these days with the snow, so if I did get there before her not to panic and that she'd be on her way soon enough..... ummmm really? So the party begins. We go into the first room for 45 minutes with no issues. We then move into the second room. The kids working the party asked if I wanted the lights off and I said yes. All the kids are having a great time until one of the giant black light bulbs gets hit with a ball and falls from the 30 foot ceiling and smashes onto the ground right at the feet of one of the little girls. A few parents rushed over to carry a few of the kids away from the play structure because all of the kids have no shoes. The light bulb shattered so hard on the floor the bulb flew 10 feet in every direction! One of the workers went to get a slippery when wet sign and kept the lights off. All the parents were then over trying to keep the kids away and we are still in the dark. Finally, the lights come on and another sign comes out "children at play". Then in walks the woman from the front desk with another sign to hang on the play structure! Obviously, none of the kids were going on the jumpy, there were shards of glass all over the place. It took about 20 minutes for her to vacuum the area. When she was done vacuuming I was told it was time to move to the party room. Pizza and cake were served and goodie bags were handed out and its time to go. We go to the front desk to pay the final balance and I let the woman know I was very upset with what happened with the light and she said sorry you aren't happy but i did what I was supposed to do. I said "that should never have happened because none of the light bulbs should have been exposed. Every other light in the room had metal grates over the light bulbs so nothing would have hit the bulbs". She said well I handled it the way I was supposed to. I said there was a little girl right there when the light shattered. She said well no one told me that. I then said I would like the name and number of the owner because I am very unhappy with the situation and I believe you didn't handle it correctly. She said "I'll give you his email. I'm sure he'll be glad to hear from you; he's a lawyer." I said why would you say that he's a lawyer? what does that have to do with this conversation? She said I was just saying he'd love to hear what you have to say. I truly believe that she meant that as a threat. Why would I care what he does. I was given the generic Jump Trax email address as the lawyers email and only given a first name. My son's birthday party was here last year and was more than happy to have it there again. Needless to say I will never set foot in there again. Every parent at the party agreed that the it should never have happened and that it was handled very poorly. They also agreed that having a party there ever would be out of the question. With so many other places like this around why bother going to this pit! read more

I almost gave it a 2 star rating because I have had better experiences for a similar service but that seemed a bit harsh. I think 2.5 would be more accurate. Jump Trax is an inflatable party place. Giant rooms filled with various bounces houses and slides. They have mostly private parties but do have some open hours as well. They recommend calling in advance for those. If you check out their website you'll get a good understanding of what they offer. I'm not sure how to feel about this place. We had 2 parties for my daughter at Pump It Up in Franklin before it closed last year. They were always right on top service wise. They made everything SUPER EASY. I stumbled upon Jump Trax when searching for a venue for my daughters December birthday. Since it's December I try to keep the party planning as easy as possible. Pros: The kids had a great time. The layout seemed to diminish the noise from the inflatables pumps so it was easier to have conversations. No clean up. It's a private party so you don't have to deal with it being open to the public and parents can relax a bit more than at a place like Monkey Joe's. Cons: It's expensive. Nobody answered phone. They don't provide invitations. They were supposed to call me 2 days before the party and never did. I had to call the day before and didn't get a call back until 7pm the night before the party. The staff wasn't up to Pump It Up standards. There wasn't any organization when entering to make sure your group was together. I didn't know a lot of the people at the party since it was a new class of kids for my daughter so there wasn't a way to introduce myself as the host. They weren't involved in monitoring the kids. At Pump it they had people placed near large slides to make sure everyone was being safe. They mainly spoke to each other and asked for a tip at the end. They didn't do anything to make my daughter feel special... like a special chair or crown or something. She just sat at any spot of the table that was available when she got into the room to have cake. At the end we were not sure if we were missing a gift or if someone didn't bring one so I called and they said they didn't have it but if another group returned it they would call. So... not knowing about the gift we did a "Thank you for coming" for that child. That goes back to the lack of organization on their part. Summary: I feel for the cost of the party there should be more organization, polish and customer focused. Would I do it again? Maybe. If you go in with no expectations you'll be happy - kids will have fun - but if you're looking for a stress free venue where you don't have to worry about the details this isn't the place. read more

Not sure why the other bad review as this place was pretty good. Visited here for a birthday party and it is basically like any other place similar to this (Watertown). Two large rooms of huge inflatable themed slides and obstacle courses. The staff here is both helpful and friendly and the place is immaculate and looks fairly new. Not sure if I would have a party here but the kids had a lot of fun and the inflatables are all newer and in great shape and clean. I wish these places had more open play times because I feel like they would make more money and gain more attention, this place offers only 2-3 per month. The only other complaint I would have is ditch the video games and air hockey table in the rooms. They are both a distraction and unnecessary and not really sure why they are here. Other than that, not a bad place at all to host a party! read more

My daughter attended a party there on 12/17. Within three days, several of the attendees were sickened with stomach bug. Wasn't the cleanest place in the world and these kind of places have a reputation for being germ factories, so I doubt its just a coincidence. Thanks Jump Trax for helping ring in the holidays - around the toilet bowl! Won't go back!! read more

We love it here! I love that they have schedule open play times with a limited amount of participants. The facility is clean and spread out. Kids use each room for 45 minutes. They are tired after 1.5 hours of jumping. Staff has always been helpful, I always recommend to friends lokking to keep their kids busy read more

We had my sons 6th birthday party at Jump Trax and it was beyond fantastic! Seriously, I can't say enough good things about this place. The staff was awesome! They were young and fun and played with the kids but also had the maturity to deal with kids conflicts and a few boys who were being too rowdy. The party room was great. We had 2-3 staff for about 15 kids and I didn't lift a finger. They did the pizza, served the kids, got everyone drinks, cleaned up, got the cake ready, served it and honestly just stood there and visited with the parents. I have had a number of parties at other places and most of the time I am running around serving kids, getting more drinks etc... this place I did nothing. I actually loved that I only had to bring the cake. Pizza order was placed a few days prior (the order is actually placed by them the NIGHT BEFORE the party so if you have changes make sure you call them the day before your party!!) water, juice was all taken care of by them and we got/used as much as we needed. I was charged per water/juice but it was worth the convince of not having to bring it myself, keep it cold etc... Great party and worth every penny spent! read more

DO NOT BOOK A PARTY HERE!!! The staff is extremely unprofessional. Their prices/packages on the website are not available/outdated. You have to buy EVERYTHING from them, INCLUDING WATER!!! It is a rip off. Such a scam. The young staff that is supposed to "help" during the party, sits around and talks. No help with young children. It is terrible! My children always have fun at parties here but as a parent, I will never book one here again. read more

Just had my 2nd birthday party there for my daughters birthday. Have to say I was much more disappointed this time around than the first time. The first time, we had a good experience since it was a large place that can accommodate the number of kids. However, the party coordinators didn't do their jobs this time or the last time. They stood around having conversation amongst themselves without really monitoring the kids or assisting too much during the jumpy time. This time they didn't set up the room with the theme plates or napkins that were provided and was very slow in serving the pizza out to the kids. Thought with 3 coordinators we would have a smoother transition into the party room, but this wasn't the case. Some of my guests help served and I had to jump into help as well. I took over cake cutting, because it was very slow and I didn't want to delay serving the food any longer. We had to pre-ordered the juices boxes and water and although we didn't finish it, we were never reimbursed for it. I believe this happened last year, but I figure a few dollars, I wont bother with. Overall, I would not write this review if that latter part didn't happen. As I come to pay for the bill. The manager told me there were 5 additional kids that I had to pay for. I had no problem and paid for it and also added the 20% tip to the credit card transaction. However, once things settled down, I asked for the sign up list and reviewed it more carefully. I realized the 5 kids that she mentioned were all under 2. I knew from conversing them via email that kids under 2 are not in the head count. I brought this to her attention and she just stared at me with no response until she told me that she needed to contact the owner. She seemed hesitant in contacting the owner and then come to me again saying "I mean no disrespect, but why didn't you tell me before I charged your credit card?" Honestly, I was completely taken back at this point. Kids party places are chaotic, I pay for the remaining balanced based on what you tell me. I guess I should have done my due diligence and not depended on the manager to provide me with the balance. She told me its policy I need to pay for additional kids and she showed me the party package flyer. I responded by saying I had email conversations with Jump Trax that said that kids under 2 were not counted. I even provided a guest list on the email, that you can cross reference with the sign up sheet. Nevertheless, she did finally called the owner after some hesitation and said that the owner will be crediting me the same night, as she does not know how to process this type of transaction. It has been 3 days and I have yet to see my credit. At this point, I don't believe I will be getting my credit, but I would be happy to update this review, if I do get this credit back. I have suggested to the manager that the sign in list should include a column where parents can input the age of the child. Manager found this to be a helpful feedback, so hopefully there process would be smoother in the future. However, I'm quite disappointed on how this ended and will not be able to overlook the fact that the manager was quite rude and not helpful. I won't be having future parties at this venue. Update: No response to my email from Jump Trax, but I did receive my credit according to my records. Updated to 2 Stars. read more

The kids love it here and have so much fun. It's great for a big party, worth the money IF YOU DONT ORDER FOOD. From a management standpoint though, it is not well run. The staff are VERY young and not well trained. The " helpers" assigned to our party did not circulate around the room and supervise and engage the kids as per their job description. They stood against the wall and talked with each other. We were also over charged when it came to pay our bill. In addition, the managers did not seem confident in their decisions or knowledgeable about how to refund us and handle disgruntled customers. Phone interactions were poor. You can not bring in food or drink of any kind, except the cake/ cupcakes. The SMALL water bottles and juice boxes are .75 each. Pizzas are $12.75. read more
