Inflatable time is great for the kids. $10 and plenty of obstacles and slides for all ages.

It is a huge multi-use facility, in the six hours we were there groups came and went playing lacrosse, field hockey, soccer.

Based on that call, I would have expected a low overall rating for the club but when I logged in I see it's going well at 4 stars overall. I personally find it a little invasive that he sorted through every client named Dawn and compared the gym photos to mine here to find and call me, but, here's a note to confirm that my experiences did, in fact, occur in 2017. Also, just for everyone who might be reading this, here is what Yelp has to say about offering things in exchange for reviews or asking people to write them: https://www.yelp-support.com/article/Don-t-Ask-for-Reviews?l=en_US Offering something to make up for a poor experience is great customer service, when it's not conditional. Also note when you however over the Yelp stars it literally tells you what each rating means. 5 stars is "Great." 4 stars is "Good." Three stars is "OK." Two stars is "Could have been better" and one star is "Not good." And, my experience, up and until today, could have been better. That said, there are plenty of excellent reviews here for you to read, so, you know, check them out if you're looking for a gym and make your own decisions.

I got a great deal to workout for a week. The gym itself is clean and the weights are racked. There is plenty of equipment for every need. Someone's "garage" turned into the best "torture chamber" ever. The more I experience FA, the more…read moreI realize it was the perfect dose of "I was missing something". Sure, you can go ape crazy with bikini contests and odes to body building. Or you can opt to get a real workout with really good people, great music, encouraging community and get something out of it in 45 minutes. There are other options on their menu, but the boot camps, ever-changing, reformatting and mixing it up, keep your body guessing. (and trust me, I'm not a fan of the term "boot camp" but for lack of a better term, I'll suck it up because the sweat is REAL). As with everything in life, you get out of it what you will put into it. Even if you DIDNT change your lifestyle, and did a handful of these puppies a month, you will see results. Strength? Muscle tone? Better balance? It sneaks up on you. If you add a nutrition regimen, of course transformation is possible. But I didn't come for transformation, I came because I needed to focus on some muscle building and the gym world has been like barfing pellets. The "gym culture" gets on my nerves after a while. Sure, will you find stereotypical "meatheads" at FA? Maybe. But when we all walk in and the instructor gets us going, we are all too focused to worry about baloney and work gets real. The most amazing thing about the structure are the instructors. Many of them are body builder/bikini champions! And yet they are not into the "look at mah booty babe" at all (like some dance instructors out there). NOPE. They are there to make sure your form is good, you are focused, encourage and guide you. Need to modify? Oh they will do that without shaming, au contraire! They will make modifications with attentive and super professional bedside manners. Everyone walks in happy! And walks out dead. Beat. Sweaty and with a feeling of accomplishment. High fives all around. Staff is happy. It's the happy torture chamber. I am really enjoying this, and I was so on the fence. Glad I found them! Other FA's in the area: Shrewsbury, Boylston, Grafton... and at all hours and days of the week. They got you covered!

As a result, there's a mass exodus of members leaving, losing talented coaches (and lying about them), especially bad turn over of front desk personnel, and 4 managers in the last year, each one worse than the last. The current manager is probably the most unprofessional of all of them, I've never seen so much gossip and drama before her arrival. I chose to cancel my membership at the gym via a private email with her, and when she asked my reasoning, that email was then shared with everyone who was currently on the clock in studio, which of course then got back to me. Highly unprofessional and an invasion of privacy in my opinion. Aside from fitness, a huge focus and pro of this studio was the community, with the Facebook group being the main outlet for that. However, with new management and a new head coach, information is now hidden, people are silenced, posts are censored, comments are removed and shut off. The lack of transparency is off putting and leads to more gossip. I want to workout at my gym and feel welcomed by the community, not hear that the manager and head coach are gossiping about other employees and members and feel uncomfortable in the same community I once loved. Additionally, it just sounds like bad economics to be concerned with new membership at the cost of losing current members and coaches. It's more expensive to gain new customers than retain current ones, especially when people who love their gyms encourage new memberships via their own word of mouth. With the new year comes many people interested in joining gyms, and those people often choose to ask their friends where to go. I've had multiple friends ask to come to this studio with me to try it out in the last month, and I told all of them to try somewhere else. I signed up for a new gym in the area and other members of this OTF have followed suit. You guys made a big mistake. Huge. Edited to add: I was really proud of my accomplishments and recently let a girl at the front desk know I had lost 25 lbs. her response was, "25 down, 25 to go!" I was gutted, but just smiled and walked away. If I lose another 25 I would be underweight. But I guess that lines up well with the new image they have. It used to be more diverse, encouraging, and welcoming. I'm just so disappointed.
