On some Saturdays, in the warmer months, you can watch really hot guys play rugby while having your afternoon jog. Just... fyi.

Perfect for cooking off on a hot day. The splash area is fenced in with one entrance/exit which is also convenient for parents who want to sitervise. There is also a sanded volleyball net, a basketball court and a large field. There are bathrooms but I didn't use them so can't speak to their cleanliness. One major con is there is no shade and little seating. I would suggest bringing a lawn or beach chair that has its own canopy.

They have a skateboard area. They have basketball courts. There is a baseball field and a couple areas where kids play soccer. The biggest reason I love this place is their walking track and trails. The track is 4 times around for a mile. They have a sign posted to tell you how long the trails are. There are also some paved walkways around the whole park. This park is always kept immaculately clean and is always packed! It is often hard to find parking. The other great thing about this park is that they spray for mosquitoes quite frequently so it is never very buggy here even with all of the woods and some marshy type areas.

It's a nice park that the locals trash. The last time I came here, yesterday, there was garbage all over the place. It looked like someone built a park in a dump. It breaks my heart because people put effort into building this place and it seems like nobody cares. 8 Garbage cans in one park and nobody uses them. There was leftover chinese food on the ledges, empty bottles in the bowls. Just an overall really disgusting place to spend a day. Stop being such slobs locals. Are you really too lazy to walk a few feet to a bin? It's a nice park to ride. With so many crappy pre fab parks why would you trash one with such potential? http://www.tablesandfables.com/2012/03/dump-park-by-stuart-scipione.html

Perhaps the word I'm looking for is 'compartmentalized'... "I like the taco!" Frank said, adding the Volcano is also a nice feature. But he has "nothing" in the bowl according to his girlfriend, Chok. "Front board down the hand rail first try = Thai Dinner," hollered Carl, to Gustav, who also likes to skate the three-block, but rarely goes that often living in the city. But when he does venture out he films...at the skatepark. See what I mean? If you don't then just go, its fun to try and flow from one end to the other; the bowl will always have a session there if you can start one. Try and do some thinking-mans-skateboarding to find some non-ABDs here and impress chitlins. Warnings: get there early if you want to skate the curved ledge on the left; bring deet for the locals; little-league parent walk-thrus will happen here...

The tree memorial for the 9/11 victims from the area was beautiful and a nice way to honor those folks in the community. There is alot of open grassy area to sit or play - a few benches along the trail, and a handful of picnic tables. If you want to sit out though, you probably want to bring your own chair. The walk was nice - very flat area without really any hills and the trail is paved, well defined, has mile markers, and is wide. It's a little over a mile, so if you're short on time you can get a quick walk in otherwise you can do a few laps to get in extra mileage! I did see there was a little playground area as well and a gazebo! There was actually a small ceremony happening when I was there. Another sweet thing to note, there is a senior living home on the trail, so it was lovely to see some elderly people out getting sunshine and enjoying the park too! Definitely recommend checking it out if you want to get outside and have a nice place to go!

Kids are not permitted without adult supervision yet people think it's ok to ignore these rules at virtually every skatepark in Boston that I've been to. Don't follow the Boston parking laws. Harvard University is on a power trip and tickets cars that otherwise wouldn't be ticketed if it were the BPD. Got a ticket for not paying a meter on a Sunday. Every car on the street did. Clearly they're making up their own rules.

During my most recent visit for figure skating, multiple front parking spaces were blocked by buses. One bus alone occupied approximately eight parking spots while the driver remained inside with the engine running. This significantly reduced access for paying skaters. When I reported this to the front office, the response was dismissive and unhelpful. I was explicitly told by staff that I "needed to park on the overhang on the hill," despite arriving with skating equipment and multiple bags. No attempt was made to assist, redirect the buses, or offer a reasonable alternative. The manner in which this was communicated was discourteous and left me feeling disregarded as a customer. Unfortunately, similar issues have occurred in the past. On a previous visit, the women's restroom was flooded, and the only accessible stall had ice-cold water. The facility frequently has an unpleasant odor, and overall cleanliness and maintenance appear to be ongoing concerns. Last year in the winter, I encountered a fall stepping out of my car in the parking lot because no maintenance was done to remove ice. Also, the ice is absolutely miserable and resurfacing not done on time, so we often don't get to skate the full 50 minutes that we pay 30 dollars for. As a figure skater - and especially being a woman that gets treated condescendingly and with absolutely zero respect, I have repeatedly felt unwelcome at this facility. Combined with poor parking management, inadequate maintenance, and consistently unprofessional interactions with staff, this creates an environment that does not meet the expectations of a major sports complex. I would expect far better organization, accessibility, and customer service. Until these issues are meaningfully addressed, I cannot recommend this facility.
