So I've rented a couple of jumpers from this place and it was ok until this past weekend. First I just ordered a basic blue jumper with an obstacle course inside. The day of the party they call me in the morning saying my jumper is being loaded and they asked me if it was for a boy or a girl, I said boy. Then they call me again and tell me that they're going to be running late because of the traffic. (my party started at 4p so i wasn't really worried) The third call I get was the same question "Is the jumper for a boy or a girl?" again I say its for a boy. Then the man says "l I have the one you want but its in pink and purple, they loaded the wrong one." omg really? how the f*** is that my fault? So I'm like ok fine, then as he's taking it out he tells me oh you know what its actually the princess one not the basic pink and purple. So now I'm upset but i have no choice because they won't have enough time to go to the warehouse. Im the one who had to ask him for a discount and he offered to leave it overnight. (why do i want it overnight) So my 8 year old son hated the jumper and was mortified because he was expecting a blue jumper and ended up getting a pink princess jumper for his birthday. He was crying and was worried about being bullied by the other kids. As a mom this is one of the worst feelings ever and all because the people from this company made a mistake and loaded the wrong jumper. They dropped the jumper off on saturday and the man said they would be here "tomorrow" (Sunday) around noon and its currently 8am on Monday and they still haven't picked it up. My dog has been tied up for 2 days now because of the damn jumper being here. (I let him out all evening on sunday). This business sucks! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! horrible experience when trying to resolve a very damaged jumper!! highly not recommended! our $170 jumper showed up with grass and dirt on the inside and with hole (the size of a quarter) on the middle of the jumper and 2 tears one on each side. the hole had been patched but the glue on the patch didn't hold it so it was blowing around with the power of the fans. We told the driver about the holes and he told us not to worry we had 2 compressors so it would "hold up" through the party. We patched the hole ourselves with gorilla tape because after calling the office we were told we "accepted" the jumper and they didn't have a driver to pick up the damaged jumper and redeliver a new one, and we had paid for the waiver so any damage from taping would be covered. the kids still bounced and we had to "tape" 2 other tears because of the very under maintained jumper. about 2 hours into the party the metal housing from the blowers came loose because there were only 3 bolts instead of the required 6 holding it together, the metal cover was hitting the blowing metal fan causing a terrible noise and sparks. again we called the office, the operates told us there was still no one in the office to help us, sooo we had to put the 2 bolts that fell out back in and tighten the 3rd, there are still 3 missing bolts that were not on the unit when it was delivered. I called Monday and finally spoke to a manager who let me know she would talk to the the owner... ...after 3 days and FINALLY speaking with the owner explaining all of out problems his repetitive response was "your children had a great time regardless of any problems we had" , "did they all have smiling faces during the party?" the answer of course is yes, after I fixed the jumper numerous times!!! If I pay $170 for a jumper I expect it to be in great shape or as there message when you call "all jumpers are delivered clean and in like new condition". the worst part of this is the lack of customer service I received in dealing with the problems, the owner is unreasonable and not easy to speak with...I paid cash so there is no recourse As a personal note to the owner: You are very fortunate, Richard, that I am handy enough to repair the holes/tears and to repair the damaged metal cover housing the metal fan blades, you are also very fortunate that we had a party with involved parents watching their children because if it was a party with parents in the house and children outside with the metal cover coming off it could have been catastrophic. fast moving metal fan blades and little fingers and hands don't mix so well. read more

Last weekend my son and I attended a birthday party for one of his close classmates in No. Hollywood. He was extremely excited to spend a few hours with his friends. I was told by the mother that there was going to be cake and a jumper. Well the cake was wonderful but no bouncer!! I truly felt sorry for the mother! Kids were running around with nervous energy that it did not take the mother that long to be driven to tears. With all those kids constantly asking where the bounce house was it was clear that after 2 hours there might not be one. The birthday boys mother made repeat calls to the office, they were trying to get ahold of the driver! She was told they could not get him on the phone! Where was this guy? After a long wait, I decided to take my son and an additional boy home to whom I provided a ride. I was told on Monday from several parents that the jumper arrived but by that time 85% of the children were gone. How can a company justify 15 minutes of a jumper, a late driver, who by the way could not even be reached? My heart broke for the birthday boy and his frazzled mom! That was an important day for him and I personally feel it ruined the day for all involved. I would give this company a big ZERO, but I had to rate something. Don't use this company!!!! I repeat Don't use this company!! The co. called me to deliver party equipment early on Friday ( Our party was on Sunday!) the delivery people dropped stuff on the side of our house and explained to me how to set up jumper. Can you believe this my husband and I had to set up the jumper ourselves?!! Poor customer service. Then they didn't even pick up the equipment when the party was over... it's Monday and my poor dog has to be on the side yard gated up because the stupid equipment is still here. I called the owner and instead of listening to what happened he was arguing with me and was so rude!! To top it off he had enough nerve to call me back and say that my husband made him feel so bad so he will take $14 off the total cost... Wow I am shocked we told him to keep his $14 and that we would never use this co again!! Worst service ever!! It's 12:18 pm and the stuff is still n my lawn!! This is a HORRIBLE COMPANY! I ordered a slide water jumper for my girls birthday and it arrived on time, however it contained two blowing machines, one of which didn't work. The driver could not get it to work and blamed it on my power. He said he would go to the warehouse and be right back with a generator. Three hours and about 15 phone calls later, I still never heard from, nor saw the driver. I finally called the company and was yelled at by the owner for not calling me first. He blamed me for only trying to call the driver. He then said he would send a replacement blower, which didn't arrive until 3 p.m. (the party started at 11). We then finally got it working and the kids played for several hours. At about 5:30 we turned it off to save electricity while the kids ate dinner. We asked for a pick-up time of 8-10 p.m. After eating dinner, about 6:00, I peaked out of the window to the front yard (where the jumper was placed) and noticed that the jumper was missing. I ran out and noticed three men driving away. I ran after the truck because I thought the jumper was being stolen. They informed me that they worked for the company and were picking up the jumper. It was 2 hours early and we didn't even get it working till 3 p.m.!!! So the kids were able to play on the $180 jumper for 2.5 hours. What a rip off!!!!! I always use Cindy's Jumpers for myself and my school, however they were not available this time. Please use CINDY'S JUMPERS for all of your future jumper needs. JUMP FOR FUN SUCKS!!!!!! read more

We just had the obstacle jumper yesterday for a party and it was fantastic. The quality of the picture on the front of the jumper was fantastic and the jumper itself was great. I ordered delivery to be at 11am due to their suggestion of an hour before event. I called at that time and was lied to saying they are 30 minutes late. I called eery half an hour until the driver finally showed up 4 HOURS LATE and wasn't set up until 5 hours later after my requested time. Customer service lied to me every time I called and only wanted to offer me $40 off for being 5 hours late when my party should have ended the time they set up. After ki getting very angry the owner finally said he can give me half off since I didn't want his offer to keep the bouncer overnight. Next I got a combo bouncer with slide and extra pool thinking it attaches together but of course it didnt. They didn't even pick it up at 7pm like they should've. Lucky it was a secured building or else it could have been stolen and I would've been liable. It was picked up overnight. All this added extra unnecessary stress to already hosting a party and all the kids asking about the bouncer. I will never do business with jump for fun again even if it was free. If you do make sure you get the first delivery of the day at 6am so maybe you can have it up by noon. Trust me. read more

We have used their wet waterslide combos and sno cone maker every summer for the last several years. Everything is always delivered early and picked up late, allowing plenty of usage, and fun. For water slides, we prefer double lane slides that are straight (no curves), as they are the fastest! We recommend the combo waterslide with slip n slide attached, for maximum speed and run out at the end, yeah!! read more

The worst!! We ordered a bounce house for my son's birthday and they never came. It's hard to reach anyone because the main number is a call center and the person's cell number they gave us went to voicemail, which was full. We tried calling all morning and had no response. Finally, the call center said the person for our area called out sick so they couldn't deliver a half dozen bounce houses. They gave us the owners # for a refund and he hasn't responded, so now we have to deal with getting our money back. read more

I've been ordering jumpers and other things from this company for years! The drivers have always been on time and very friendly. Most importantly the jumpers have ALWAYS been clean! They'll be delivering a Paw Patrol bouncer in a few days and I can't wait to watch my little boy have a blast, once again!! DO NOT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE! THEY WILL RUIN YOUR KID'S BIRTHDAY! If you are thinking of renting a jumper, do not rent from Jump For Fun (any location, anywhere in the USA). Do yourself a favor and rent from a different company. They are not worthy of the 1 star rating. From beginning to end, they were nothing but trouble. Starting with the phone call to book, I was on hold for over 10 minutes. I specified our party started at 10AM and that I would need the jumper ready for use by 10AM. The drop off 'window' was from 8AM to 10AM. At 9:15AM, day of, I called to confirm the driver was on the way and I was told 'she' was in fact on the way and everything was fine. At 9:50AM, I called and was told that the driver should be there any minute. At 10:15AM I called and was told the driver was lost. At 10:30AM, still no driver, and now the person on the phone tells me I should have booked for 9:30AM, and then he hangs up on me. At 11:00AM, driver called and he (not she) says he is lost and has no idea where he is and where he is supposed to go. At 11:30AM still no driver, and I am steaming on the phone. I spoke with Charlie, Jose, and Richard, all of whom laughed at me and offered no solution. Finally around 11:45AM Richard tells me the driver is not coming. At this point party is more than halfway over, I have spent most of it on the phone, and my kid and his friends have no jumper for the party. There is more to the story, but too much to type here. Bottom line is this company is a joke, from the owner's assistant down to the reservations people. They hire drivers who speak poor English and have no sense of direction. They wasted my time and made me angry the day of my son's birthday party. The made no effort to get the jumper I paid for here on time or here at all. Richard was brash enough to tell me they are a 10 million dollar a year company and that they provide an excellent product. As I stated above, DO NOT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE! Really bad customer service, it was my daughters birthday Saturday & I ordered a jumper first of all they were late, then the jumper was way too big the measurements were so off & when I called to see if I was able to get a smaller jumper they questioned me on how didn't the jumper fit & were asking for pictures. Why would I call & lie about a jumper not fitting in my yard? If the jumper doesn't fit it doesn't fit. I asked for a refund & the supervisor was extremely rude & told me he was going to give me a "call back" to see if there was any smaller jumper available, he never called back, I payed $90 for a jumper that was never on during the party because it didn't fit this company needs to be put out of business ASAP!!!! Don't trust your important event entertainment to this company. They don't care about their customers, they don't want to be bothered by you when they screwed up. It is unfortunate for me but you can learn from my experience and DON'T rent from them. I didn't check Yelp reviews when I ordered which was a huge mistake on my part. I had a graduation party planned for 40 people and they were supposed to deliver the jumper between 7am and 1pm. Early morning I thought I heard the doorbell and when I went to answer it, I saw a truck pulling away so I called the company right away and was assured it was not their driver and they will not call their driver to check. At 9:30, I called again to ask them to check and if possible to give me a 2 hour window since it was a big party and I had a few errands to run. They said they will only call the driver if he was late otherwise they will not bother the driver so clearly customers are not that important. So I had to sit at home and wait and called them when no one showed at 1pm, at 2pm, and at 3pm, on my fifth they told me they are sorry and will prorate the rental when it shows up. The jumper finally arrived at 3:30, two and half hours late, and the driver told me that since they did show up early in the morning and they left, I am entitled to just $30 discount. The many times denial by their office that no driver showed up in the morning and I was bothering them by asking was now turned into an accusation like it was my fault for not running for the door fast enough for them. I called to talk to the owner on Monday and he has yet to call me back. It is not about the amount of the discount but the attitude of the customer service team that tells you what a bad company this is. read more

On July 4th, 2015, I had the most horrible experience with this company and more specifically the owner directly. I have used Jump for Fun for many years for our annual block party. Last year, 2014, there was an incident with the slide that they provided, (the side was open and kids flew out landing on the ground), but I decided that I would give them another chance. Worst mistake ever. We rented the Blue Crush slide this year and it was delivered on Friday, July 3rd at 8pm. (This was a favor to them as they are busy on the 4th with multiple deliveries) Our contract rental period was from 11am-7pm 7/4/15. On Saturday, 7/4/15, at 11am we set up the slide and it was then discovered that one of the two motors needed did not work. My husband, whom is a contractor, was appalled that they would even send a motor that was obviously refurbished and very unsafe, especially when using with a wet slide. We called the company immediately. I waited on hold for 40 mins and then decided to call the person that delivered the slide (contractor) directly. He answered and I explained the situation. He contacted the owner and connected him with my husband. For 30 mins. the owner yelled at my husband explaining that he didn't know how to set up the slide and that only one motor was needed. My husband took pictures of the motor and the slide and sent to him. The owner called back and said that there was nothing he could do, there were no other motors available and no other slides. He would give us our money back for the slide (I rented other items from them) and would pick up at 7pm as agreed upon. I then called multiple companies and found a company that would rent a blower to us for the day. Jump for fun did not help in any way to find another blower, they did not offer any assistance to help find a new slide, I did all the work. At 1pm we had a new blower from a new company and had a slide (2 hours into our party). At 3pm the driver from jump for fun comes to pick up the slide. I explain that I have now rented another blower from another company, using the refund money that will be given to us, so that we could make their slide work. He calls the owner and explains the situation and the owner is yelling at me stating that I am trying to cheat them out of money. The driver is explaining that the motor is not theirs, that we rented another motor in order to make it work. The owner is yelling through the phone stating that he calling the cops and is on his way. Please note that we have a permit for the day and that the streets are blocked off with multiple people/kids in the street playing. The owner moved the barricades and speeds down our street and with over 200 hundred witnesses unplugs the slide with kids on the slide (We have video of all of this). He is yelling stating that we are cheating him. Once again explain and show him the motor that he delivered does not work. Multiple people showed him the issue with the refurbished motor that he sent to us and explained how dangerous it was. He was completely belligerent, rude and saw no fault in his doings. He argued for over an hour as we were telling him to pack up his slide and leave our property. When leaving he once again drove fast down the street endangering the kids. Once the owner left, we were informed by the driver the real reason for this situation. At 1pm the driver received a call from the owner telling him to drive to culver city and pick up a working motor. He was then to come to our house and give us our money back and pick up the slide and the deliver the slide to another party where they paying triple the amount that we paid. This call came down to money and even with giving us our refund, he was still making double what he would have made if they gave us a working slide in the first place. There were over 200 hundred people that witness this behavior, will share this story and never use this company again. Such a horrible person. read more
