When they were all put together, it looked BEAUTIFUL. There's no doubt they use good quality items. BUT here is what to beware of - Hidden Fees & Last Minute Fees with no explanation. When asked for a price breakdown for added fees, they cannot provide that. Additionally, they need to improve at making sure everyone on the team is well versed on the prices and accurately charges for items to ensure that you get what you think you're paying for. Also, beware of the possible inconvenience of being asked to drive a floral vase to their base location in Duarte 2 days before your wedding, despite having been asked a month prior if they needed anything extra from you. Also, beware of late delivery, as we had florals delivered after the start of our event. I will say that Luz did issue us a refund for missing items, which is appreciated, but just be aware of these things. The production is good, but the customer service needs work.

I received an automated email reply back saying that the company is going out of business at the end of February. I received that email on 7th of March. There was nothing updated on their yelp profile to suggest that they are going out of business, and there is nothing on their website that also is transparent about this. They sent me a suggestion to a "sister company" that was based out of Orange County which is not helpful for me considering I am in Long Beach and I'm trying to find a local vendor to support.

But if there was a change in the contract by the business owner, your refund should be returned. The owner of Posh Place change the location of the venue due to not wanting to renew her lease due to complaints with her business neighbors. She moved the venue further out. My contract was based on her Carson location. The reason I choose this venue is because of the location. It was local for my guest. Not only did the owner make the decision to change the location due to her reason but she did not notify me until I contacted her regarding the party planning. The owner is also a party planner and decor which I was also using her services for. I was planning a sneakerball for my daughter in which my guest would have needed time to get their outfits together. I asked the owner for Save the date invites by the middle of February on January 22nd just to give my guest a heads up. I also confirmed with her that the Save the Date and the actual invitations would be done and she replied yes. I never received them. The party was supposed to be May 10th. On March 22, 2025, I sent the owner a text regarding what was included in the decor just to see if there was anything else I needed to get. She replied "yes, you on my to do list for today". When I finally talked to her on March 22, she informed me that she moved my event to another location. On Tuesday March 25th, I texted her letting her know that I would have to cancel the event due to the relocation. She quickly canceled my invoice which is fine but also sent me the distance to the new venue and the old venue from my house stating that they are with in the same distance (Carson and Cerritos). That was unnecessary because I was not going to be the only person at the party. I emailed her twice and text her regarding a refund ($300) of my deposit. As of today, I so have not received my refund.

They are experienced, had many ideas, and helped us choose everything from the centerpieces, table covers, charger plates, and chair covers to the cake table and easel. We met with them a couple of times to see the changes in the setup, and each visit made our vision come to life. Their prices were reasonable, their customer service was excellent, and they have an eye for detail. Dora and Paola were kind, patient (especially when we were unsure of what we wanted), knowledgeable, and most significantly, easy to work with. On the day of the event, they arrived on time, handled the entire setup, and came back afterward to pick everything up. The whole experience was completely hassle-free.
