I would give Sky Bright Lighting 12 stars if I could because Angel from SBL deserves all of them and more! We booked SBL to do the entire lighting for our wedding at South Park Center in DTLA and we could not be happier with their work! Right off the bat, we could tell Angel has a passion for lighting and that he genuinely loves what he does. He doesn't just throw up the lights and walk away. He personally controls the lights throughout the entire event to create a unique light show that dynamically reacts to the moment -- think of him as a professional DJ for lighting. We've talked to a lot of lighting vendors but have not seen anyone else offer anything like it. From the initial meeting, through signing the contract, to the actual event and all the way until takedown, Angel has been nothing but extremely professional. He even personally took the initiative to overcome some crucial last minute logistical hurdles we encountered with the venue, which saved us a ton of headaches during the week of the big day. In terms of equipment, we booked 4 intelligent moving heads on 5ft light-up trusses for the main dancefloor, along with 24 LED up-lights for the rest of the event space per Angel's recommendation. During reception at sunset, 2 heads acted as spotlights while the others projected an elegant spinning pattern on the ceiling. Once the sun went down and the dance floor opened up, we were completely blown away by how all the lights worked together to transform the venue into a high-end nightclub in the sky. We were especially impressed by how the lights came alive under Angel's control - from the way they aptly adapted to various activities of the evening, to how they reacted dynamically to the changing beat of the music to create an electrifying atmosphere. It's impossible to describe how good the lights looked, so I've uploaded a few videos of them in action - hopefully they show up. Similar to another reviewer, we were initially going to cheap out on lights, but we are so glad we listened to Angel and booked the equipment he recommended. It was easily one of the best decisions we've made for the wedding. I'm honestly shocked that SBL isn't fully booked 6 months out because they are such a hidden gem for their caliber of work for what they're charging. Many other lighting vendors quoted us 1.5-2x for similar packages, and I doubt they could've done it better. Lastly, thank you again to Angel at SBL for helping make our dream wedding become a reality! If you're still reading this, better book them ASAP because they're only going to get busier and more expensive! read more

Literally writing this review 4 days after our wedding only because we are so in love with our wedding and how this company had enhanced it so much more. Experience: meeting/talking/FaceTiming/communicating with these two were so easy. We never had to wait we never had to beg for attention, never had to worry. They responded timely, professionally, came on time and easy to chat with during our entire wedding planning process. Products: I am not an expert on music and dj-ing and lights... but all I know is that they had the right equipment to make our wedding venue all the more beautiful. My husband and I truly liked their sleek, sophisticated dj booth that fit well with our garden wedding and their uplighting package completed the look of our place. At first we were gonna opt out of the lights but Angel encouraged us to go with the lights and we are soooo glad we did!! I didn't know how amazing it would come out to and I'm glad I listened. Can't imagine how it would have looked without our lights!!! I love that they also came to our wedding looking sharp. They also wore their company brand during our first meeting- we appreciated the professionalism! What can I say?! Angel and his team were PHENOMENAL! They showed up earlier than "on time", made sure everything was set up... He even scouted our venue to make sure he had everything ready for the day of our event... I was able to meet with Angel last minute and hire him as a surprise for my Mom's retirement party... He gave me an awesome deal, and he delivered on his promise of professional service and insane visual effects... I HIGHLY recommend their services, you will not be disappointed...
