I went here hungry for chicken, and they did not disappoin. Although the workers seemed tired, and their phone doesnt work, they gave me the biggest chicken box (bigger than I thought it'd be). It was some of the best chicken I've ever had, and one of the workers put their nut on it. they said it was ranch, but I knew otherwise. still, don't knock it till you try it right? Thanks to the fabulous chicken and strangely delicious bust, Ifinished that box in mere moments. Went there today got 15 pieces of fish and a chicken strip meal. Ask for extra tartar sauce but we were told we would be charged for the extra, but the meal came with eight tartar sauce. That would be plenty but when we got home there was no tartar sauce or gravy for the chicken strip meal. I was very disappointed and tried to call them but nobody answered the phone. read more

Been here about half-dozen times since I moved to Kaufman County in early '21 and they keep it simple: chicken n' fish, just like the sign suggests. They have a drive-up but I always go inside, plenty of seats inside, that's never an issue. Wanted something different so I opted for a small order of 6 gizzards. They were cooked to perfection and the house hot sauce and gravy really nails the dipping maneuver. You also get a good sized fresh baked roll than rounds out the whole deal !! read more

Best fish dinner in town. Never a long wait and it's always fresh. Friendly staff and reasonable prices.

I'm not sure how this place is in business. If it's after 9:00 pm they refuse to let you eat at the tables in front of the counter. They close at 10:00pm. They will not make any substitutions for anything. If they're out of mashed potatoes and a special includes that item then you can't purchase the special. They never have very much of a chicken selection you have to purchase what they have or go somewhere else. The employees are very unfriendly and never smile, I can only imagine working for an owner that has such idiotic rules for the employees. I refuse to ever go back. read more

The chicken is good but I asked for extra rolls and they handed them to me in a Burger King bag... they're not Burger King. They were eating too so I'm pretty sure they basically they grabbed rolls real quick and stuck it in one of their empty bags. The lil girl working the windows had Cheeto dust all over her fingers. I have always looked at Julio's as my go to spot for chicken until, well let me start from the beginning. After the storms a few weeks ago that damaged several of the restaurants I was driving around on lunch on the hunt for some chicken. I rode by Church's Chicken which was closed due to damage so l tried Julio's. I pulled up to the drive thru which had an orange cone in front of the pot hole right before the speaker causing you, the driver to pull in farther away from the speaker. However the drive thru windows were open. So I pull up and a teenage boy stuck his head out of the window and I asked if they were open and he said yes. Excitedly I backed up to pull closer to the window and when the kid stuck his head back out he had active green snot running from both nostrils. On the left side it had been smeared and was dried right above his upper lip. I was shocked and disgusted and was going to see is someone else could help me instead. I was able to see a girl working the register behind him so I just told him that I would come inside to place my order. So I park and go inside and I was able to place my order with a young lady. I then decided that I would like to order some of the jalapeno cheese bombers to eat with my chicken. So I placed the order and the young lady after ringing me up turned to the young boy with snot bubbling from his nose and asked him to drop them. Uh, no!! He came from standing in front of the drive thru window, reached in the little freezer where they are kept, put his hand inside the bag and dropped them in the fryer. I got the little ladies attention and told her that I changed my mind and didn't want the bombers. She tried a few times to issue a refund but was unsuccessful so another lady waking by came over to assist. Then I'm guessing Julio came over as well to ask why I didn't want the bombers. I wwan't trying to embarrass the kid who is now standing at the end of the counter. The adult male proceeded to tell me that these were dropped to order and he will have to waste them since I didn't want them now. I apologized because I didn't want to make a scene and the kid was still standing there and the restaurant did have guests in the lobby eating and in line as well. So after a few times of this man giving me the third degree about canceling the order I leaned in and told him that the kid that dropped them had active snot running down his nose, which had been smeared by his had and I wanted a refund because he touched the food without washing his hands or gloves. The man then looked at the kid yelled out loud, she said you have boogers in your nose, come here! The kid came over and once he saw what I had been seeing he then instructs the kid to go clean his nose. By this time the man is pointing to my work jacket telling me that I should be more understanding because of where I work. Okay now everyone in the lobby and the employees/family are just looking at me. I then politely told him that if this was his establishment and any of his employees hygiene, uniforms, the facility etc was not up to par he should address it. A customer should not have to come into a restaurant and look at a employee with thick active snot bubbling and running down there face. Not appealing!! The man then told me that he was going to refund both my orders and asked me to leave his establishment! Okay, I've worked in customer service for so many years and the game has totally changed. Instead of apologizing and addressing the issue he got mad and threw a tantrum which made me really want to post a review which I have never done on food in my entire life but Julio if that was you, you inspired me to tell ALL about my experience. Our Pastor went there for chicken. There was 2 pieces of chicken under the light. He asked if they had any fresh chicken coming up and the young lady said yes. He then asked for 2 piece of the fresh chicken. Well the manager came over asKed what did he say, when the young lady told him that he asked for fresh chicken when it dropped, he became rude and yelled give him his money back we're not serving him. Our Pastor said, I don't want my money back, I just want the chicken when it drops, he told him, no we're not serviing you, give hIm his money back. Very rude and u called for. read more
