I had horrible food and worse service. When I inquired about sending my food back, the server laughed. Never again.

They are just getting worse. I was OK with someone at the table receiving a plate of dissappointment... But now they are giving everyone at the table a bad meal. I really wish they would at least try to prepare tasty food and get it out to the table fresh. Whatever they are doing in the back, is NO GOOD! Wake UP! Your paycheck depends on it. We will be giving this place a break for a while. I can get a sub-par meal anywhere in Murphy... Like at the Chophouse. read more

Service was friendly. Ordered no cheese on salad, had to send it back. Ordered blackened chicken to go with the salad, only got about 5 bites of chicken. The salad was fresh, the blackened chicken did not have much spice. read more

This place is great. The food is cooked just right. If you like country cooking and country atmosphere it's the place to go. Try it and see if it's not one of the best little restaurants in Cherokee county. You will NOT be disappointed. Staff is friendly too. read more

We were visiting family and went to Julie's Place. The best biscuits I've ever had. The workers were very friendly and were readily available for anything we needed. My wife had the Rainbow trout and I had the fried chicken. Everything was delicious. read more

We were here on a Saturday evening and it was very crowded. We still got great service. Also our food was excellent. I got broiled jumbo shrimp, green beans and Mac and cheese. The Mac and cheese wasn't the best I've ever had but it was still good. Hubby had chicken fried steak, apples and cole slaw. It was very good. The place is decorated very cute. I would definitely go back again. Loved the great selection on the menu. The only bad thing about that is that it made it so hard to decide what to get. read more

This quaint but cute little place is off the beaten path somewhat, but certainly worth the drive! But please make a point to eat there! These people care about the food they are serving and it really shows! I can't say enough good things about this restaurant! Quality food, service, friendly wait staff, and the owner came out more than three times to check on customers. It is also an absolutely spotlessly clean restaurant. My hubby, who is considered by everyone he knows to be a master griller guy, had the burger, and he said "now this is a good burger". He NEVER has ever said that. We arrived right as they opened so our food actually came out before the complimentary biscuits and hot apple butter were done. We were given some to take home! That was so very nice! Stopped in for breakfast on our way out of town and enjoyed our visit with one exception. One member of our party was looking forward to ordering the French Toast but we were told they were out of it. Not sure how a restaurant runs out of bread when they are serving toast. My new favorite place to eat when I'm in town! A hot biscuit with apple butter greets you once you are seated. Love the chicken bacon ranch wrap with a cup of tomato bisque soup! You feel like you are visiting old friends! If you are lucky, Sierra will be your server!! read more

Ugh...we really love to support local businesses but this is a dud. Folks encouraged us to try it, and we did. Unfortunately this "country cooking" is a far cry from mine and my Mama's. Prices were average, about $10 a plate. Staff is incredibly friendly. The food needs a recipe overhaul. We really wanted to like this place but it just doesn't cut it for us who are used to really great country cooking. read more

Stopped in for a bite of lunch and had quite a bit of lunch! The warm biscuits and warm apple butter was a nice start to our meal. Our group ordered a few starters...fried okra/pickles and the chicken livers and onions. Very tasty. For lunch, we had folks ordering chicken and dumplings, the patty melt, the tomato bisque and BLT. Sides ranging from the steamed broccoli, collard greens and green beans were great. Judging by the lack of talking, I think everyone enjoyed their meal. This place is great and the customer service you get is fanscitic. All of their food is delicious and served hot every time. The staff is amazing especially Julie which is the owner she is always walking around checking on you to make sure everything is ok. read more

Each time I've been to this establishment I have been met with friendly service and great people. I've enjoyed most items on their menu. I've not been disappointed but there just a few items that just wasn't what I expected for a dish were still delicious. Got takeout from here today. I got the fried catfish po'boy and Mitch got the meatloaf sandwich! SUPER GOOD! Then we got the bread pudding and the chocolate cake . . .OMG!!! Found this place through Yelp as I was looking for good comfort food in the area. O'boy, glad to have chosen to have dinner here. The Catfish was delicious, fresh mashed potatoes and pintos equally delicious. To end the meal on a positive note I found the hot peach cobbler with Ice cream awesome! We stopped here just passing through and I have to write a review because it was just that good. I had the steak salad, and everything tasted so fresh; my fiancé had a burger and I had a bite the patty was juicy and tasted like something I would make at home. Great southern food and family restaurant atmosphere with good prices. Found this restaurant thru YELP on our way from Asheville to Atlanta. It was a little bit out of our way, but worth it and we were happy to find a restaurant with dine-in seating. We were there on a Sunday for their family style dinner. The fried chicken tenders were delicious. The crust was crispy with very good flavors. The sides were delicious, especially loved the creamed corn and fried squash. Great atmosphere completely substandard hamburger. Fries were good , my wife's soup was so salty she had to return it. Nowadays it easy to open a restaurant, get a building equipment staff , call Sisco or other food distributors. There you have it no worries about quality or taste or pride . We have been many times since we moved here 2 years ago. Up until recently we have been more than pleased with the service, food and prices. Recently when we went, my husband ordered an extra piece of meat with his meal as he always does. We went to pay and he was charged double price! I understand a few dollars more, but honestly to charge full price simply because he got an extra meat is not right. We even questioned the check out person and they called Julie, she stood by her price. Friends of ours shared a similar story with us, so since I left my number and name for Julie but never heard back, we have not returned, nor have our friends.
