I had the most amazing experience with Melissa's Flower Shop today…read more I wanted to send flowers to my friend who recently had back surgery. I hate to use the 800 Flowers websites because often you don't know what you're going to get, so I looked online and found a florist near my friend's house that delivered and had great ratings. When I called them this morning, I spoke to Molly, who was so helpful and so professional. I picked out an arrangement I saw online, and I explained to her how I wanted to customize it. She made thoughtful suggestions for the arrangement. The best part about it was she really took her time to explain to me what the final product would look like. The owner Janet called me later to check in and to give me information about some final changes. She also sent me photographs of the arrangement. I have to say the photos of the flowers she sent to my friend were unbelievable. My friend called me and she was so happy with what she received. What an awesome experience! My husband purchased 2 dozen long stem roses from this florist for Valentines Day to be delivered…read moreto me at a location not even 2 miles away. He was charged $325. The roses were beautiful, but after adequate water and 4 days, the roses were completely flopped over and wilted. So, we're not at all feeling good about the cost of the roses; Because $325 is outrageous! We anonymously called them again more than once asking how much it is to order 2 dozen long stem roses and Mario the owner quoted us $179. I'm sorry. Mario, you are ripping off your community. We called your competitor and asked them the price of roses for Valentines Day and you are full of SH**. You know darn well that you price gouged your customer and now I'm going to let everyone know to go somewhere else for flowers.

Third strike is for our anniversary again and I only received half an arrangement, no pink roses, one carnation instead of carnations, no pitta negra or spiral eucalyptus.
