I appreciated that they agreed to repaint them the next day, but unfortunately that experience was frustrating as well. The technician initially tried to repaint only one nail with a different polish that didn't match, and seemed annoyed when I pointed it out. There were also visible cotton fibers left in the polish after removal/repainting. Overall, the service felt rushed and the final result still didn't look great. Unfortunately, it wasn't worth the time or the money I spent. I won't be back.

When I arrived, I was assigned to Eva. As soon as she started to remove my polish with the dremel tool, my nail was burning. I did say- ouch and she turned the rotation down. Again, burning, ouch!, and she replaced the head of the dremel tool. I looked at the one she had been using and it had little tiny spikes on it- like you might use for acrylic nails? She replaced it with a finer bit and it worked okay. She still seemed annoyed with me! She soaked my polish off for 10 minutes and when she returned, scraped most of the rest of the polish off. Then she started to file off what was left around the edges, running up against my cuticle and cutting it in two places. It was the holidays, so looking for that 'holiday pinterest color', I asked for three different colors. Again, annoyed. I am happy to pay and tip for a service well done. The girl working on my service barely talked at all even when trying to spark a conversation and all other employees were talking with their clients. But more importantly I was there on Friday, 02/07, and spent $140, including tip, expecting a long-lasting manicure. It has only been four days, and my gel polish is already peeling off in whole pieces. I don't do anything that would cause this-- I work from home and spend most of my time typing on a keyboard, so there's no reason for the gel to be lifting from the cuticle and peeling off completely after just a few days. This is not normal for a gel manicure, and it's frustrating to have wasted that much money on something that didn't even last a week. I had hopes for this salon as it was my first time and it was booked by my BF as a surprise spa day for me, but based on my experience, I can't say I'd return or recommend it. If I'm paying premium prices, I would expect premium results or at least a manicure to last a week at the minimum.
