Decent entertainment, terrible atmosphere, overpriced food and drink. The atmosphere here is very strange, reminding me a strip club. Outside it looks like a converted sizzler with blacked out windows. Inside there is blacklights everywhere with with neon lights. The seating looks like a hotel buffet. Very tacky and simple decoration. The belly-dancers were ok, the first one was a bit overweight but kept us entertained. The MC was talented keeping the entertainment moving along, getting the crowd involved. I enjoyed the band, but have to fault them for overusing a synthesizer that had trouble producing realistic sounds. You can find just as good if not better food in this style throughout Chicago. Their hummus and falafel was top notch, although the 2 drink minimum at $8 a piece forced me to see past this. To be fair I was there from around 9 to 11:30 on a Saturday, but I was told that it gets really hopping after midnight. I would give them 3 stars, but have to knock them down one star for not respecting my privacy and the law by printing my entire credit card number on the receipt. Shame on you!

Big fun!. We were a group of 8 and certainly the ethnic minority here. However we were made to feel very welcome and our waiter (Mel) and the owner (Al) were exceptionally friendly and we were very well taken care of. Entertainment was awesome. We didn't know the music or songs but it was fascinating to people watch. Vanessa the Brazilian Belly dancer was gorgeous and very talented. Very authentic show. The place was sold out and obviously favored by the local middle eastern population. You want good ethnic food? Eat where they eat! Excellent food. Highly recommend the lamb chops. Hookah'd for the first time and I'm a fan! P.S Other reviews I have read stated "BYOB" this is not the case!

The service left a lot to be desired and unfortunately we thought the reason was racism until we realized there is an automatic 15% gratuity. Started off with a mint lemonade and baba ganoush which came with pita. I wouldn't recommend either of these - the lemonade barely had a hint of mint and the pita was cold and a little stale, even after asking to have it warmed up. The baba ganoush itself was good but you don't really need it unless you're hungry and need an app. The food in main entrees were genuinely very good. Huge portions and everything was seasoned and cooked perfectly. My only small note is that for the lamb shank platter, i literally got only one potato wedge lol. Otherwise it was all fine. The prices are reasonable! We even got a dessert on the house but unfortunately i'm not sure what it was called (something like baklava) which was good. Overall a good spot but i left regretting the extra tip when our waitress kept forgetting to get little things like a plastic bag for our leftover containers and the receipt despite waiting for 5-10 minutes.

The platter also comes with a basket of pita bread! Combo mix grill #1: For my entree I got the mixed grill and chose both beef and lamb koubideh as my proteins. I really couldn't tell which meat was which since the meat is ground but both were super delicious otherwise. Great flavor. Got the half & half rice (basmati/dill) which is a great choice and I highly recommend. The platter also comes with red onion, a whole roasted tomato, and some butter. If you've been here before, you already know the portion sizes here are massive!!! So great for sharing!

I've since visited the Niles location several times. The food has always been consistently excellent, but unfortunately the service has never matched the quality of the kitchen. Today's visit was by far the worst. It took over 10 minutes for our server to come to the table to take our order. Throughout the meal, I had to repeatedly flag her down whenever we needed something. To make matters worse, she seemed to disappear halfway through dinner--I'm assuming she clocked out--because we had to get another server's attention just to receive basic assistance. The food, however, was fantastic. I ordered the Al Bawadi Seafood Mixed Grill, and it absolutely delivered. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. That's what makes this so frustrating. This restaurant serves some of the best Middle Eastern food in the area, but when you're paying premium prices, you expect service that matches the quality of the food. I still recommend the food without hesitation, but the consistently poor service at the Niles location is making it harder to justify returning.

Every meal we've had here has been fresh, flavorful, and made with care. You can truly taste the quality and tradition in every bite. The lamb shawarma is outstanding--perfectly seasoned, tender, and packed with incredible flavor. The chicken shawarma is just as delicious, juicy, and cooked to perfection. But the true star of the menu is the lentil soup. It is hands down the best lentil soup I've ever had--rich, comforting, full of flavor, and worth coming back for on its own. It deserves to be the #1 item on the menu! What makes this place even more special is the amazing customer service. The entire staff is welcoming, friendly, and professional, making every visit feel like you're dining with family. A huge shoutout to Ali, who consistently goes above and beyond to make every customer feel appreciated. His kindness, professionalism, and genuine hospitality are second to none. I am familiar with the area but didn't know that this restaurant was located in this small strip mall. I pass this strip mall all the time when going to the Alamo Drafthouse for movies, but never thought about pulling into here due to the small parking lot and that it is always crowded. Walking into the restaurant, there is a kiosk where you can order your food. As it was late and I just wanted to eat and not make a lunch for tomorrow, I ordered a Spinach Pie and a Combination Meat Plate (Beef kabob, Kifta kabob, Chicken Kabob and Chicken shawarma. Served with Rice, Salad, Hummus and pita bread) so I could have leftovers to take to work the next day. I placed my order, paid for it and had to wait for about 15 minutes to get my food. While waiting, I was able to look around the restaurant to see it was clean and brightly lit. The table and floors were clean and there were a few customers dining inside. The staff was nice and friendly as well. I got my food home and was pleasantly surprised at the amount of food in the combo dish. There was a good amount of meat and rice, enough for two people easily. The combo dish is $25 but well worth it. The meat was cooked nicely and had good flavor. As good as that combo dish was, that Spinach pie was on point! The flavor was great and the dough was nice and fluffy/tasty. The food was so good that I decided to put in an order on Grubhub the next night to get it for dinner for later in the week. I wanted to place an order on Grubhub to get free delivery as a Prime member, but the online menu did not have the Spinach pies listed, so I ended up having to call into the restaurant to place my order. When you call into the restaurant, they take your number and will send you a link to pay for your order and to send them your address and delivery instructions. I ordered the same items again, but got extra Spinach pies and a Greek Salad with chicken as well. The delivery guy was nice and brought my food up to me as instructed. The salad was fresh and there was plenty of Chicken Shawarma on top of it. I ended up having that for dinner as well as one of the Spinach pies and it was delish. The Chicken Shawarma was very nice and again, this was a decent size salad and was filling along with the pie. I definitely want to go back to try some of the other dishes that they have, like the wraps and the gyro plate and/or wrap. There is a lentil soup I would also like to try as well. I would definitely recommend Falafel & Grill for eats.
