I don't know who else has this CoCo Fresh doesn't. that's for sure. You suck up the popping boba pearls with your straw and pop them in your mouth, it's like heaven in your mouth coming from a cup. Finally remake my drink, but give me regular fucking cow's milk, which I am allergic to, and only realized after I drank 1/3 of it. No label on the new cup, no one asking to make sure it was right. Even though they had the original drink label made with almond milk. The staff was friendly and all smiles, and my drink was made in a very respectable amount of time, even though there were other customers waiting as well. The milk tea itself was delicious. I ordered the classic black milk tea and it was the perfect amount of sweetness. The bubbles themselves were also perfect in terms of taste and texture. If you are a fan of bubble tea, you know that good bubbles are those that are semi sweet and a bit chewy (in the best way possible). Juicy Cube nailed it. It's nice to have a juice place in the area that is not Organic Avenue, and it's awesome that they have bubble tea, but my experience has been that you sort of need to be okay with getting whatever, because I have gotten what I ordered once out of seven times - the rest of the times have been wrong, and by the time I sip I'm out the door, and the line is long enough for me to not want to bother going back and asking for a remake. I can't believe I'm reviewing a juice place. How the mighty have fallen. How I used to sneer at gym-goers clutching their little carafes of grass-colored slime, how I chortled at Lululemon-clad ladies throwing back wheatgrass shots and smacking their lips. Liquid calories used to be beyond me. I like milkshakes as much as the next person does but I'd much rather eat. But the Kale Delight here is so good. Barely any taste of kale. If you close your eyes and wish really hard, it tastes a bit like fruit juice because of the pineapple and apple. I sometimes buy two and save one for a few hours later but be warned - down two of these babies and make sure that wherever you're going next has a bathroom nearby. Waiting for the m66 to get its butt over with a full bladder in freezing cold weather is no bueno. Barely any seating. They have some bananas, kind bars, and vegan gluten-free cookies if that's your thing (the cookies are 2 servings at almost 150-180 calories per serving; at this point, it's about being smart and realizing you might as well just eat the full-fat donut instead of the gluten-free cookie). There's also a fridge full of prepared food like sprouts and risotto, and probably some kind of quinoa mix. It seemed almost arrogantly overpriced but this is the barren wasteland of midtown and you can always cross the street to get a crappy chopped salad. read more

I am completely addicted to their "plain young coconut blend" which is basically coconut milk blended with coconut meat. When you order, you are instructed to pick out a coconut from the refrigerator and hand it over to the cashier. 5 minutes later you have a sealed cup and get to pick out a straw to "stab" in to your fresh drink. The cost is $6.95 which is the only reason I gave 4 stars. I do feel it is a bit pricey for the quantity you get as well as the location all the way on Lex. Quality is A+ though. read more
