Speachless, that is what happened at our table when the waiter came to ask how was our meal! Sooooo goood!!!! I ordered the cherry bomb lemonade and found it to be addictive, so much that the wife stole it from me. Pineapple, fresh tart cherries, and limes are mixed into lemonade to make a cherry red concoction that you just want in a Popsicle form. Wife got the Celerabration - a celery based juice with Kale, citrus and ginger flavors that too made us not wanna put it down. Food was off the charts also - try the Grave-lox toasts, the avocado toasts, or the Memphis grits with one inch chunks of smoke ringed bbq pork on Gruyere cheese grits. Dang! All from scratch, using high quality ingredients, this little slice of crunchy deliciousness is an oasis on South Main in Memphis. With a vibe that is inviting and made you feel like you were in a tropical escape, to the attentive staff, to the laid back patronage, this place hits on all cylinders. I went here three times on a recent business trip and tried many of their offerings including juice shots, their herbal teas, a smoothie, and three separate entrees. All were on point. If I had to pick out my favorites it would be the Nuts About Cherries smoothie, the Never Forget Your Roots bowl (although the dumpling soup and the black beans and rice bowl where also amazing). In the last two times I ate there, the owner even came out to check to see how everything was. He was highly attentive and passionate about his craft - and you can tell. Stunning new juice shop in Memphis. Just what we needed. From decor, quality ingredients, natural flavors, to over all energy of the shop... it is infused with passion from Ti-Pei and Stephanie. I got the Root Power Juice with 4 different root ingredients- beets, carrots, ginger, & turmeric. Had it for dine in, so it was served with fresh beet and carrot garnish. Honestly, the most delicious beet juice I've ever had. Normally, people pair beets with apple, to mask the earthiness of the roots, but this combination of vegetables was supreme! Natural earthy sugars, and no acidity to mask the flavor. Wanted to try the matcha yogurt bowl, but they didn't have their matcha order, so I have no choice - but to come back! This place is the cherry on top of South Main. It's a new juice and lemonade cafe with a limited food menu with very yummy, healthy items that are vegetarian and vegan friendly. The decor is so intentional and deliberate - it's hippy with a touch of subtle elegance. My food was piping hot, like I like it, and it only needed salt and pepper. I prefer the smaller menu... I'd rather a cafe excel at a few things rather than master nothing on a huge menu. It's clean and the ambiance inside is *chef's kiss*. My husband and I came to this little gem on South Main on a very rainy Memphis day and felt like we had walked into a tropical rainforest! We sat at a corner table at the front window with rain running down it, and with the lush tropical plants inside and out, we felt transported. It is small, eclectic, homey, and the staff is very friendly. We talked to both owners- a husband and wife team, I believe, and they couldn't have been any nicer. They both came to check on us. The wife came in during our visit carrying her wares from the downtown farmer's market, where she was selling her juices and lemonades. We wanted a lemonade that wasn't too sweet, and our server suggested the Very Cherry Lemonade. It was tart and delicious, like we like it. It comes in a cute glass bottle with a wooden lid that you can keep or trade in for a few dollars off. I chose to keep it:) My husband got the Kiss My Grits Bowl that had smoked gouda, roasted tomatoes, and caramelized onions. It comes with kale, but my husband subbed sautéed spinach. It also comes with two eggs, and he added bacon. It was very hearty and he loved it! I got the Not Your Average Avocado Toast. It was tremendous (I am an avocado toast aficionado and have had many a toast, so when I say tremendous, I know what I'm talking about :) It comes with pan-seared tomatoes, a cucumber drizzle, pickled onions, and instead of an egg I got it topped with the tofu. It was one of the best toasts I've ever had! And the tofu on top just took it over the edge. It was thin and very nicely prepared-just the perfect accompaniment. My dish came with a side of fruit that was also not your average cup of fruit. It had what appeared to be a pink kiwi in it. It was fresh and tasty! We will be coming back!
