A little annoyed... went there on 7/18/22 to get a birthday smoothie with my kids. Pulled up to the door around 7:40pm and it was locked. Knocked on the door and the two workers looked and kept doing what they were doing. Knocked again and shrugged since they are SUPPOSED to close at 8pm per their posted store hours. The girl opened the door and said "Sorry we closed early, because we are short staffed." How many people does it take to make a smoothie??? To me this is not right! Be very careful when you buy their juice! When you pay $8 for med. Size drink at least fill up the cup!! They will only fill it up to about 70% , what a cheater, rip off!! Also, the girls who work there did not wash their hands before making my drinks! She was touching the money , taking orders, working on the register then she makes the drinks, touching all the vegetables and fruits! Disgusting!! Even Their T shirts was disgusting! I am 5 months pregnant and had a craving for a smoothie today. I was waiting for 5 mins when one of the girls working there( she was an older lady) asked me if I was helped as soon as I opened my mouth she walked away! This pattern repeated 3 times. They all were working with a stoned face not even a smile. I had a $25 gift card and when I went to use it, I was told they didn't accept them anymore. I understand if they didn't SELL them anymore, but since there was money on it, that's like taking someone's money and not giving them the drink they ordered and refusing to give their money back. I used to come here at least once a week for 7 years and every time I'd order a strawberry banana smoothie. I absolutely LOVE the taste of their drink, but I really did not like the attitude the owner used to give me and how some of the employees would bring their negative attitudes to work. After a few times of the negatively, this stopped being an enjoyable place to go. After a second time of of handing them my money and being appalled by the way the employees spoke to me, I decided to move on. Now, nothing is wrong with the quality of the drinks. I will forever continue to choose this place over Jamba juice. There are just so many options, and the smoothies are so delicious and filling! I have tried almost all the smoothie favorites listed on the sides, and I just love all of them, aside from the green tea one (it is a bit bland and boring). My favorite if it's hot and I'm looking for something fruity is the passion power. It has a thick tropical taste that I just can't resist. If I'm looking for something with a more dessert taste, I love the peppermint twist and the mint chocolate chip smoothie. Smoothie place right by the office. I don't think I can go wrong! I begrudgingly get a smoothie here once a week. The place is cluttered... stacked full with some great nutritional products. And muscle milk... and raspberry ketones... and some "feng shui calendars" that feature your birth month... and soft pretzels! Who the heck is making the decisions on what this store sells? It's just a smorgasbord of random crap that could do with health/yoga/might sell... there is no defining purpose. "Well, if we sell high quality supplements, let's also sell crappy protein, in case someone might want to buy it." I get the same smoothie most of the time, and it varies in price from about $6 to $8.50, depending on who is ringing me up. Lately service is getting better. Today I was asked about my practice, and the younger girl saw my college shirt and made conversation about it. Hopefully it keeps getting better and we keep giving more stars! read more

I have read many of the reviews here and I remain perplexed how folks feel justified to excuse rude, indifferent and unwelcoming behavior. Perhaps the owners are trying to attract folks who would like to experience their off-putting demeanor? Frankly, I don't think they give a damn. I have given Juice Zone repeated business, ignoring their vacant welcomes. I have tried to also excuse the rudeness. I finally have had enough! I came in recently and was served AFTER either an acquaintance/friend of the owner came in AFTER me. Unacceptable. I also did not enjoy the haughty and rude behavior I encountered when I expressed apprehension about taking some of the protein supplements when pregnant. It is not so much what was said, but 'how' .... During this last visit, it was apparent the owners were flustered as all their friendly little staff members returned to college and they have to run the show on their own ....get a grip and find a way to manage this stress without negatively impacting your customers. It is time to STOP being rude. STOP being dismissive.....the customers that come in and buy your little, juicing concoctions pay your bills. I think it is also important to note that it's time give the place and menu a facelift. There are healthier options nearby where my money is better spent and I feel more welcome as a customer. I came here twice, the decor is nothing special, a little cluttered but that doesn't bother me at all. First time I came here I asked for something tart and they have me something that was nothing special, I would've preferred my usual Jamba Juice. Second time I came here which was many months afterward, I came again and asked for something tart and they said "the raspberry with extra lemonade is tart" so I ordered that and it was the best smoothie I have ever had in my life. The smoothies are really good, especially "Gary's Power Pump" It's perfect on a summer day, or before/after the gym. There is also a large selection of "blasts" that you can add to your smoothie. There is a huge selection of all sorts of healthy stuff that's hard to find anywhere else. The people that work here are super helpful and friendly. They work closely with people in the community to give them what they want. I went to Juice Zone all throughout high school and go back every time I am in town from college. I'm still relatively new to Juicezone, so I don't know how to customize my smoothies (at least for the power smoothies). However, I always get the fruity smoothies whenever I come here. I personally like fruity sweetness over like decadent sweetness (aka fruits over chocolate-y things) and I believe Juicezone definitely hits the spot. The most recent time I came here, I got the San Francisco Sunrise. SAN FRANCISCO SUNRISE MY BUTT. I opened that drink up and I was not seeing a glorious SF sunrise, what a disappointment. I kid, I kid, it was very yummy and refreshing, regardless of what it looked like :-) (wow is juicezone trying to make a societal statement about not judging a book by its cover?? Stay woke.) The old owners were so much better. The drink we originally recieve was not well blended at all. It was full of ice chunks and very watered down. We politely asked the owner to remake the drinks, and she began to argue that the smoothie was like that because we asked for it extra thick. However, we ordered 2 different smoothies, one wasn't supposed to be extra thick. They sent us outside quite rudely, to wait for our drinks. When the new drinks were brought out, we said "thank you so much", but the owner proceeds to slam both drinks on the table, push them towards us, and say "now try it, see if it's better." super rude with attitude, almost like "complain now". We walked away and will not be coming back. We miss Janice and her husband, but these new owners are so rude & have no customer service at all. I have been coming here for 6 years and will not be coming back. Do not come here anymore, it's not the family friendly shop we remember. These outside owners have tainted the place. read more

Not completely sure how truly "healthy" they are but there is definitely a lot of variety for different tastes. Great smoothies however I Checked online that they closed at 8 so I arrived at 740 and the doors were locked. They even still had their open sign on. It's a pretty frustrating considering I live pretty far and wasted gas/my time. The part that irritated me into writing this review is that when I tried to open the door and knock to see what was going on because they weren't suppose to be closed the employees both saw me yet decided to ignore me and couldn't have the decency to say "we're closed". The Juice Zone experience is a trade off experience. Even though the smoothies are so sweet and delicious, the staff never fails to leave a sour taste in my mouth.
