We came back because the previous time we came was so good. However this time the girl taking our order seemed to have attitude and not take any notes on the specifications of the order. When the food and drink came out, none of it was made to our specifications. We asked for honey on the side but the bowl had honey all over it. We asked for the drink to not have chocolate drizzle bc it's too sweet, but the drink still had it. When she gave me the drink, the entire outside of the cup was dripping wet and had chocolate sauce down the outside. She saw me looking at it trying to figure out how to pick up the drink without getting my hand wet We had to send both the drink and bowl back to be remade. Even before tasting the drink I knew it wasn't going to be good bc the color was so off. Th drink tasted awful and nothing like when we came here previously. The bowl was also entirely melted with very little fruits and so little almond butter which we paid a dollar extra for. I visited on a Thursday morning, and to my delight, the atmosphere was wonderfully quiet. It took me a moment to decide on my order, but the Vital Proteins Blue Bowl caught my eye and sounded delicious, so I went for it. The bowl is made with non-fat yogurt, pineapple, mango, a pineapple juice blend, lemonade, Vital Proteins collagen, and spirulina, topped with a delightful array of almonds, banana, blueberries, cacao nibs, chia seeds, coconut flakes, goji berries, hemp granola, peanuts, pineapple, and strawberries. I had a Groupon gift for $30, which needed to be used in one go. So, I added a Sambazon energy drink, a couple of Lenny and Larry protein cookies, and some pretzels, as well as an extra boost for my bowl. The total came out just a few cents over the gift amount, but it was well worth it--the gift was much appreciated! Although Juice It Up wasn't my first choice initially, this visit completely changed my perspective. The bowl was incredibly tasty, and the service fast and friendly. This is my first time at this location and I was not expecting to have a whole layer of tajin at the bottom of my drink. I proceeded to mix my drink my usual and now every sip is full of tajin. Not only that there's still of tajin at the bottom. This is unbelievable and have never had experience this before.
