Passed this place on our move to VT from the Midwest. We didn't have cash or check (only accepted…read morepayments) at the time so we couldn't sample the food, but it smelled so good we knew we had to return. Fast forward two weeks later. We drove two hours to Benson, to a gravel lot on the edge of a farm. The drive is breathtaking, no problem. And the food? Fantastic. Between the 5 of us, we tried just about everything on the menu and every dish was a huge hit (3 kids!). The portion sizes are more than enough to fill you up and the prices are great, too. This is a taco truck so all seating is outdoors. The picnic tables are clean and have umbrellas for shade on warm days and the mountain views are gorgeous. There are other vendors sharing the lot too, selling their wares. (We picked up some great local honey before we left.) Bottom line: worth it. So glad we happened by this great and unexpected taco truck!

Very convenient on our way to an Airbnb in Ferrisburgh, VT. My husband, stepson and I stopped for a…read morequick lunch at the recommendation of my sister and her husband. They love the place and now so do we!! I got a chicken burrito which was huge and delicious, my husband got the chicken taco salad and my stepson got his standard quesadilla. All were freshly prepared and delicious! Wish I thought to take food pics but I guess we were more interested in eating it!! :) The young ladies taking care of us were very friendly and quick to put our order together. Smart setup too with order and pick up windows. Beautiful open country views with a few picnic tables to sit. Very good and highly recommended!

This was my first time ever visiting Lake George and I found that most of the restaurants here were…read morenot places that I could eat as I have dietary restrictions, unfortunately. But, thanks to Yelp, the business website listing their ingredients clearly, and the very helpful staff, I determined that Paloma would be a good spot to grab some food. The shop is surrounded by local touristy shops, plus the information center is across the street. The interior space is large enough to accommodate a few dozen customers, with some window seats that look out onto the main road, with beautiful views of the mountains. The first visit for me, I enjoyed one chicken and one beef taco served on homemade tortillas. The flavors for both of these proteins is absolutely some of the best I've ever had in any state. Who would've thought that I'd be eating some of the best tacos in upstate NY? Hibiscus tea is also refreshing, mild sweetness and a must try if you pop in here. Oh, did I mention that the food was ready within a few minutes? It disappears just as fast as they put it on the plate. My second visit I tried the tostada with the beef, and it was just as good as the taco, but if you prefer a crunch, the tostada was delicious and held up well. Day 3 in a row - yeah, it's that good - I had to stay with the tacos again. The fam enjoyed other items from the menu such as their burrito bowl, burrito, guac and quesadilla. Everyone left here super happy. Rarely does a place get me to come back 3 days in a row, but Taqueria Paloma deserves it. If I lived in or near Lake George, I would probably just invest in this place because they're not only putting out a great product, it's clean, beautiful and the staff are on point. 10 stars if I could.

As someone who loves traveling and street food, this taco spot was perfect. My boyfriend and I got…read more2 each, he got the shredded chicken and I ordered pork carnitas and a brisket one. They were absolutely to die for, the meat was juicy and tender and the toppings are on point. When I think of a taco, I think of these. The restaurant was so clean, minimal, and service was not slow with how busy they were! (And to be quite frank, if there was a longer wait, I'd be willing to sit and be patient because these were absolutely delicious!) If you're looking for a Taco Bell type soft taco, you might want to sit this one out. These tacos are true street tacos like you'd have in California or down south where taco trucks are rampant. This was one of my favorite cozy spots we visited in Lake George & we will definitely be back. Thank you for the delicious food and for being such a beautiful, vibrant restaurant!
