Our rapport with him was instantaneous. Unlike other contractors we had interviewed, Oren came in with a vision and a plan and presented fantastic possibilities that we would never have considered. We hired him on the spot. Our project necessitated electrical/plumbing work as well as complete demolition and reconstruction. Oren's crew -- to a man -- were superb -- hard-working, courteous, skilled, and professional. We were amazed at the quality of his team. Oren told us from the onset that there would be no surprises in the final bill -- that unlike many contractors, his price was his price, with no "nickel and diming" over the small stuff. He was a man of his word. He worked within our budget and his pricing was quite competitive. We love our new kitchen. Friends have told us that it looks like "something out of a magazine" and the word most used by them is "transformational." We would recommend Lavi Company without hesitation.

We received the invoice for their services (technically for the real estate agend of the sellors) as evidence certain repairs had been made prior to finalizing our agreement to purchase. The Primary Bath invoiced for just under $20,000. Though the bathroom looked great in photos, the durability of the work has been demonstrated to be low quality in the 2.5 years since the work was done. The grout in the shower is beginning to crack and mold has formed under some of the caulking. much of the grout on the floor tile has cracked and there was some general sloppiness/laziness in finishes in several parts of the install (a final coat of paint was not applied and this is noticable on the ceiling where you can clearly see the spackle, baseboards were not installed under the sinks and you could see drywall, and where the vanities had been installed, the holes into the wall were pretty much completely unfinished). I have contacted Lavi about this several times (Phone and emails) without response. My request is, basically, that they repair this shoddy or blatantly not done workmanship that they billed and were paid by the sellor for. The bathroom is not yet 3 years old and I am certain that it wont last to 5 years with the workmanship on display thus far. Lavi, please prove me wrong, come repair these issues and I will update this post.

The price they quoted me was around $3,000, and I've included some pictures below. What concerns me most is the lack of trust I now have in their recommendations. I previously hired this company to do tuckpointing work for me. About three years later, I contacted them about touching up a few areas, and I was told the work was already in bad shape. When I reminded them that they were the ones who had performed the original work, the response was essentially, "Oh, we can just repair these couple of bricks. It's not a big deal." After that experience, and now being presented with what I believe is an unnecessarily expensive repair, I simply don't feel comfortable doing business with this company anymore. When you hire a company and spend good money on their work, you expect fair pricing, honest recommendations, and quality workmanship. Unfortunately, that's not the experience I had.
