We were careful when selecting a painting company to complete our recently updated basement,…read moreseeking quality and value. Petr and his team completed a ~400 sq ft basement finishing project in our come within about 2.5-3 days. From the moment we called to the time the work was completed, it was about 1 week start (quote sent and reviewed) to finish (work completed and paid). They sanded and perfected trim and recently replaced drywall, and primed and painted walls, ceiling, and trim. They were able to use the specific paint brand, quality and color that we selected without a significant price increase. We felt they offered a great value and we appreciated that they offered a discount for cash. Petr came in the beginning and at the end to ensure we were satisfied with the work quality. Sharing a few photos of completed work for a sense of interior quality, as many projects featured here are of exterior paint projects or in-progress projects. Overall, we recommend Signature Paint and we would work with them again on future projects.

My spouse escalated our request to the owner, George, as he felt that is was Ablaze responsibility…read more George said he would look into the issue. We notified them on 6/12/24, on 6/24 George himself came out to look at the pan and measure the closet to see if a new appropriate drain pan would fit because not all comply with current codes. He ordered the new drain pan, scheduled to have it installed but also commented on the review I left, he asked if he could come by. We said he could come verify our statements when the pan was installed but his team Brian and David were well aware of a number of issues prior to our final payment. Today, August 2nd the new drain pan was installed as George did acknowledge that is the proper installation for the set-up we have. He also reviewed a number of items, offered to fix what he could. While it was a nice offer/gesture, our experience with the team (Brian & David and all the sub contractors) made it impossible for us to accept. George indicated he was not aware and that a number of these items could have easily been punch list items to be taken care, but that option was never given to us. George did in fact reimburse us for a different issue. I'm grateful George stepped in and that he was willing to at least look into it. I'm more grateful he acknowledged and did correct the drain pan and I appreciate his offer to correct what he could. The crew that was here did an excellent job (from what we can tell as of today). It's unfortunate it had to be escalated but I can confidently say, when it was, George did everything he could to get taken care of appropriately. He communicated frequently and everything went very smooth.

The painting crew arrived on time and in two days they transformed what was a very tired and worn paint job into a beautiful room. Juan and Juan were courteous and conscientious. We will definitely use Ablaze for future projects at our home.

I can't say enough good things about Eclipse Painting. Steve's quote was reasonable compared to…read moreother's we had received; and we solicited about 5 quotes after having a very bad experience with another painter that we had to fire in the middle of our project. Our project consisted of extensive drywall repairs after trim and chair rail removal. Painting, Wallpapering a 25ft stairwell, stairway railings, door painting and of course ceilings and trim. The photos don't do the job justice as we had work upstairs, downstairs, and even a repair job to the side of the house from water damage. Steve's employees were extremely skilled, fast, neat perfectionists. They weren't beginners or summer college students. They were very experienced at what they do. The price stuck at exactly what he quoted even though there were some adjustments here and there. The wallpaper job was exemplary and we were very particular about that aspect because it was custom wallpaper and very expensive. Steve is not a pressure salesman and he just does what he says he's going to do, and the work was perfect and fast. I don't think I'll be getting 5 quotes for our next project since I think we found the best around! Thanks Steve and to all your guys too!

John and his crew were amazing. They painted the interior of our home. So, what impressed me?…read more 1. They were consistently on time and finished the job earlier than anticipated. 2. They were super clean in their work. Hardly any dust could be found. 3. When they moved furniture or artwork they placed it back in exactly the same spot after the job was finished. 4. John was not one of those absentee owners. He was not only at our home every day, but worked side by side with the workers. 5. It was so easy working with John. He's very personable and offers excellent recommendations. 6. His pricing is excellent. Many painters catering to the "Northshore" inflate their prices. John's prices were much more reasonable than anyone else and his workmanship was the best I've ever seen. 7. We contacted his references before we hired him. All of his references were glowing. I've been giving Johns name to our various friends and will be using to paint the interior of my parents home in Lincolnwood. In short, I can't think of any other painter I would give my business to after experiencing John's extraordinary service and craftsmanship.

Before moving into my new 65 year house I had the entire upstairs painted including closet interiors. I had no idea the amount of work that could go into painting. They removed everything from the walls including closets shelfs and fixed all nail pops and indentions in the walls and ceiling. The walls basically look brand new after the work. They even removed two ugly sconces and patched the holes per my request. A couple weeks ago I had them paint my stair risers and again, amazing attention to detail, patching imperfections before painting so they look like new. The house is a mid century modern design with lots of wood work inside that needs to be cleaned up a little and stained. I'll definitely be using Roy and team for the work as well as painting the exterior in the spring.
