From the moment we called to the time the work was completed, it was about 1 week start (quote sent and reviewed) to finish (work completed and paid). They sanded and perfected trim and recently replaced drywall, and primed and painted walls, ceiling, and trim. They were able to use the specific paint brand, quality and color that we selected without a significant price increase. We felt they offered a great value and we appreciated that they offered a discount for cash. Petr came in the beginning and at the end to ensure we were satisfied with the work quality. Our project consisted of extensive drywall repairs after trim and chair rail removal. Painting, Wallpapering a 25ft stairwell, stairway railings, door painting and of course ceilings and trim. The photos don't do the job justice as we had work upstairs, downstairs, and even a repair job to the side of the house from water damage. Steve's employees were extremely skilled, fast, neat perfectionists. They weren't beginners or summer college students. They were very experienced at what they do. The price stuck at exactly what he quoted even though there were some adjustments here and there. The wallpaper job was exemplary and we were very particular about that aspect because it was custom wallpaper and very expensive. I like that he suggested painting the entire kitchen ceiling and not just a section to keep a uniform look. Two men came for the estimate but one man came out for the job which was fine, he did a decent job by himself. Price was fair to boot. However, there was a slight issue. The contractor caused some very light damage to my 75 year-old hardwood floors that have been resurfaced. I did not see it initially because it was late when he finished and the light didn't catch it. I called him the next day to let him know my floor had been damaged and he came by later to view. After a little talking back and forth(not arguing, totally professional) he agreed to give me some of my money back. I had mentioned doing some work on another painting project and he said he'd give me a discount that project. While he did give me my money back, he was not enthusiastic the 2nd time around about the 2nd project. For example, he gave me an initial estimate but when I sent follow ups with questions he said he'd get back and ultimately didn't. This wasn't the case at first. Coincidence? Perhaps it was. Still I can't say that I'd hire this company again. The work was acceptable but ghosting me on the potential 2nd project(especially since you offered a monetary credit due to you damaging my floors) was/is not.
