Never had omakase before so this was my 1st foray into it! Got ahold of their newly introduced sushi counter and it was a great meal. Got the $30 omakase and $18 chirashi rice bowl at the 12pm distribution. Wasn't able to get their coveted $4 - 6 piece set, but these two were already a great haul! The slices in the chirashi bowl are thicker than other places with similar items (ie: mog mog [premium bowl $38] and tenichi mart [closest similar one - salmon akura bowl $21]). The flavor and taste were FRESH. The value for both items are AMAZING! I would get the chirashi bowl more often if I was there as you can try so many flavors, even uni. The sushi are MUST TRYS if you go to this supermarket. I also like that they carry alot of products that may be hard to find in regular places like shoprite (ie: sea moss, chili infused honey, etc). Other honorable trys: APPLE brined PAT LA FREIDA $5 rotisserie chickens, $2.25 mini burgers at 20 grams cafe, store made tatziki / babagonosh spreads Note: the Jubilee mkt in financial district is the one with $10/pd buffet style prepared foods. Thats a great lunch meal if you are around there! Overall, I like the direction the CEO of this market is going with introducing affordable options to different cuisines! I like that he isn't scared to try new things, and I appreciate that he is open to customer feedback. I wish the best for Jubilee and I think this sushi counter is just the beginning of bigger things.

Jubilee is amazing, a place I left with both a full stomach and full heart because of the mission and obvious love for the community. Few places leave you inspired but Jubilee is one of them, keep in mind this is a grocery store. The food is high quality for a reasonable price. Most iconic is the $4 omakase set which has 6 pieces of high quality sushi!! Cannot be beat anywhere. And the $2.75 sliders (cheaper than a subway swipe) is great. They are rewriting expectations for grocery stores and grocery store sushi. This is more than a grocery store but a passion project to love their community. We need more businesses like this in the world. Would visit again and again and again.

This place is so great. Great deli and overall grocery shopping. Somewhat affordable prices inside. Protein bars are still four dollars which I hate seeing. The restaurant upstairs is incredible. I can't believe you can get such a delicious somewhat smash burger for three dollars total. The onions on top or caramelized and so tasty. I stopped here a lot. The hotdog was not as good and I can't recommend that one.

I really like Jubilee and their Greenpoint location is pretty special-- currently it's the only store that has sushi available. The space is quite large, much larger than their FiDi location and they have a cafe on the ground floor too. They have a great selection of local produce, which is competitively priced. I picked up some beautiful SunGolds for only $5 when it would have been $7+ at the farmer's market. I also really love the ready-to-eat section where they have freshly made banchan and salsas and dips.

The $3 sliders, $4 sushi plate with 5 pieces, and $5 rotisseries are an absolute steal! The chicken was a little too salty for me. Don't know if it was a bad batch. Adding an extra Pattie on the burger cost just as much as the burger itself.... You're better off ordering 2 burgers. This place is a little hidden gem.

Came here for the sliders and they did not disappoint! So cheap is a good sized slider - if I lived near here I would come in here at least once a week for their sliders. There is a large market downstairs that has a bunch of Asian foods in stock. The whole place is clean and has a great variety of selection. I would definitely stop by here if you are in the area!

Double Cheeseburger

Huge grocery store with an amazing cafe upstairs. The cheeseburger lives up to the hype- we got the double and while it is on the smaller side (about the size of a Hawaiian roll), it's hard to find a burger for under $5 in New York, much less one with delicious grilled onions, sauce, and abundantly melty cheese. Orders were quick to come out and there is plenty of bar and table seating, although it feels more like a Whole Foods food court.

it's cheap and fine! nothing crazy, i would revisit if i had lived in the neighborhood but wouldnt make a trip out of it the food: tried the slider and the roast beef. personally enjoyed the roast beef a little more - at the end of the day, all the sliders are extremely cheap bites, which is what you're coming for. the grilled onions are a nice touch to the slider cheeseburger the space: it's clean, spacious the service: nothing memorable

2.25$ for a burger....... If u have not been I would check them out today. Great deal... Potato Bread!

5 Stars Unreal deal -- \$2.25 for a burger! If you haven't been to Jubilee Market in Brooklyn, you're missing out. They're serving up burgers for just $2.25 -- and not just any burger... we're talking **potato bread buns**, fresh off the grill. It's the kind of no-frills, local gem that makes NYC special. Quick, cheap, and actually tasty. I'd check them out today -- seriously, you can't beat this deal.

Stopped by Jubilee for their $2.55 cheeseburger sliders. Probably the best deal in New York. They serve sliders at noon and there is always a crowd, from nearby office workers to construction crews to parents walking their dogs. Jubilee's market is very clean, the workers dont do fake smiles like Trader Joe and service is always good. If you find yourself in the hipster part of Brooklyn (Greenpoint), I'd definitely recommend Jubilee for quick cheap & good meals.

I came to the market to see if they had any items I could add to this week's menu, and it was an educational visit, to say in the least. I was pleasantly surprised with all the fresh fruits and vegetables in stock. They also had an entire area just for mushrooms exclamation. I mean like really good mushrooms! I know I will definitely back to get some of the lions mane variety for when I go to Virginia next time because I need to make vegan crab cakes from my grandfather (allergic to seafood). They also feature a luxe skin and body care atra with top brands from the US and Asia. The prices here are quite a bit higher than any of the Asian stores I've ever visited in NYC, likely due to the location. I found some really cool items that I've never seen anywhere else.So I picked them up for food prep in the future. Come check it out, you might find some good stuff!

First floor 20g Cafe

3.5 Walking in you are greeted wit the aromas of burgers on the grill. The upstairs is dedicated to a 20g Cafe serving up burgers, BEC, ramen and some other items. After reading about it in Eater we thought we'd give it a try. It was quite busy when we arrived and it took quite awhile for our order to come out. The burgers are super cheap, $2.15, and a little more to add cheese. They are a smash burger served on a potato slider bun with grilled onions and pickles. The burger itself comes off as tangy, so IMO it's hard to actually taste the meat. For $3 you can get a side of tater tots which was a nice sized portion for the price. While the burgers are indeed cheap, they are small and one does not a meal make. I was slightly disappointed afterwards, but enjoyed eating it. We then went downstairs to check out the market, which has a nice selection; including fresh cheese, meat and fish counters. Market prices are on the high side for most items.

Let's start with the good - the service and ambiance were on point. I went on a Sunday evening around 7pm. It was busy inside, but since I was a solo diner I was seated immediately by the bar. The servers were friendly and attentive. Probably 3-4 different people checked in multiple times throughout the meal. Where I struggle is with the actual burger itself. As a non-resident New Yorker, for me $22.50 is a lot to spend on a burger and fries. It needs to rock my world at that price point. And it just didn't. I got the B&B Burger. The onion ring tasted like it had been refried a second time to make my burger. The bread was crumbly like it was on the verge of going stale. The actual beef patty itself was decent - good flavor. Usually I can overlook an okay burger if the fries are top notch, but these fries were under-seasoned and also 'just okay'. I also got a side of Chicken Tenders. These were good - no complaints here. I really wanted to like this spot, but not sure this would be a return visit for me.

This place was perfect and its menu was choke full of bargains and bonuses. This place was cute; I mean the bar was front and center and was very impressive but the table seating was charming too. Their lunch menu has a great "build your on burger" which i had a blast doing: Burger Cheddar Cheese Bacon Grilled onions Lettuce Tomato Mayo / BBQ con The service was exceptional, the ambience was very "Taverny [sic]" and my lunch was delicious!

Today however it wasn't pizza that brought me here, it was the famous Emmy Burger. To begin with the atmosphere of the restaurant is dim lighting a few tables with a reasonable sized bar in the middle of the room. They also have an open kitchen concept where just past the bar you can see the cooks working. My server Inda was polite and knowledgeable about the menu. My burger was excellent, normally I don't eat my burger with a knife and folk, but in this case with all the cheese and sauce oozing down the sides, not to mention the caramelized onions, it was necessary. (If I were home I wouldn't mind having burger juices running down my arm, but other people were eating in the restaurant also). The tiny pickles which I can't remember the name of were an added treat to the burger. I decided to order mine with the loaded fries. Just imagine the ground burger with all the toppings covering french fries and add melted white cheese. Since I was alone I didn't order a pizza because how would I eat it all, but next time I will try the pizza. I don't mind paying extra for a burger when it's aged beef and the taste is great. I definitely recommend this location. There is a fast food burger restaurant next door to Emily's but I can't imagine there burgers compare. I will try them another time and let you know. That's all for now, see you on my next review.

They say some things age like fine wine, and I believe this restaurant falls in that category. After 55 years, this family oriented fast food shop known for its famous roast beef sandwich and other popular greasy goodness is still standing. I swung by recently for my usuals and glad to report that everything still tasted the same, just slightly more pricey year after year as expected. My regular order has always been the Roast Beef w/ Cheese, which was maybe $4 when I first tasted it over 25 years ago. It is now $9.45 or $.50 less for no cheese. Regardless, the roast beef (medium) is still tender and juicy, piled on top of a soft and pillowy, freshly made bread that's been dunked in a bath of delicious beef gravy. The ooey gooey cheese makes it complete for me. Everything else is solid. Nothing fantastic or worth driving out of your way for. Don't come here looking for the best version of everything on the menu. However, if in the neighborhood, this place is an inexpensive experience that brings you back in time, when the world was less complicated and a night out with family meant a delicious trip to a local restaurant like Roll-N-Roaster. Enjoy it for what it is and you'll have a good time.
