Hand carved art in the center .

Inspired by the local community, Jubilee is the new "hit," spot. Are you seeking that place to have an authentic experience in Louisville, let's meet up here. The stage is ready. Let's get the show started. There is plenty of room to dance and sing to your favorite songs playing. The decor of this place is beyond beautiful. The bathrooms are gendered neutral. You must visit both of them. You need to come and have a drink with your fav person. Or meet up with the ladies for drinks, then visit the bathrooms. It will blow your mind. One of the bathrooms is a dark room type experience that has a mural of the mind that makes your mind wander . Now the bar opens at five, are you ready to go? They have outdoor seating with little adornments all around. The decor is a grown up sense but playful. They use colors like purple to create a creative effect that leaves a lasting inspiration on the visitors. As you order a drink or mock tail make sure and look up. Those blue and purple hues dance and inspire your imagination with the center character of the Jubilee field in the spot light. As the colors dance the music strobes and you tap your foot . Let your cares leave. The fun has begun and look at your friend, family, person and be in that moment together. Enjoy the reasoning why this happened? This field is your jubilee, now let's celebrate.

Jubilee Field is a nice small park that is great for casual meetups, small gatherings, or just hanging out. It has a relaxed atmosphere, and the unique tree on the property adds so much character. The bar itself is absolutely beautiful, and the servers were so kind. I was there for an event, and the whole environment felt easygoing and welcoming. They also had unique and fun drinks, which made the experience even better.

Beautiful weather at Jubilee Field!

Jubilee field is such a beautiful and positive space for the community. This would be a great place for an event! The drinks from the bar were well crafted and the owners were very friendly!

I need a fan because Jubliee Fields is so hot!

This is a great space to kickback and enjoy the scenery. The staff were friendly and the drinks were good. I had two mocktails (blueberry lemonade) and they did not disappoint. If you're looking for a cool place to go after work, definitely check out Jubilee Fields.

Jubilee Field is newly opened by a husband and wife team and since visiting, my husband and I have been talking about it. We had a great time getting to know the team and hearing how Jubilee Field came to be. I enjoyed an Aperol Spritz and sitting inside the bar. The tables, lighting, paint, and decor have been designed around Jubi, their adorable mascot. Even the bathrooms are fun! A food truck, My Three Sons, is a permanent truck at the spot so you have food options and don't need to leave. Several patio tables and literally a field to brainstorm events here - while we visited there was yoga and a DJ, plus I've seen promotions for trivia on their social pages. Follow them to keep updated. Family friendly, which is a plus for us. We have two teens and love introducing them to Louisville's local spots.

This was a great event space with a nice indoor bar area with plenty of alcoholic and non alcoholic options. They also have a nice beer selection on tap. There is also a huge fenced in outdoor space with plenty of table chairs and picnic tables. There is also a separate building for rent for parties and other events. This place would be great for baby showers, bridal showers or pretty much any kind of party or gathering.

I got to enjoy some grooves and moves with their movement event and had a relaxing, but fun time! I also stopped by their opening weekend, and noticed a lot of different families having fun on the lawn with all of the activities. I have had several amazing things from the food truck, My Three Sons, and this time went with the nachos. Super loaded, with that classic ball-park nacho cheese. The chicken on top of the nachos was super tender and juicy. I highly recommend their fried fish. I love the ambiance, with hand-crafted pieces from artists on the walls, ceilings and bars. The owners are very sweet and community-centric. And they are regularly hosting events and vendor markets on the lawn. But don't forget, their bar is open for regular business, too. I really love the spicy marg.

An Absolutely Wonderful and Must-Experience Spot! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere at Jubilee Field was absolutely wonderful. The decor alone is worth the visit; the table art, stained glass windows, and lighting were simply gorgeous, creating a truly beautiful setting. Beyond the stunning environment, the establishment shines in other areas, too. They have a good selection of wines, and their cocktails are a must-try--seriously delicious! The customer service was great, with the servers going above and beyond to make us feel welcome and "a part of everything." I'd also like to add as a wheelchair user. It was definitely an accessible place. The dance class that we took also included me which was absolutely great. I will say that for some will too users that might need a little more space to move around. It might be hard to get up to the bar but the waiters will come out and make sure you're taken care of. This is definitely a fun place to hang out! We even took part in a dance class held in their beautiful gallery space, and it was so much fun to be a part of. The entire experience makes this spot a must-experience. We can't wait to go back!

It finally did, so off to Trellis Brewing we went. And what a happy little discovery. The outdoor space is fantastic: family-, kid-, and dog-friendly, surrounded by old buildings that give the whole area a cool, nostalgic, industrial vibe. They've done a really great job with the space. Inside, you'll find a mix of tables and booths, friendly people, and a laid-back atmosphere that feels genuinely welcoming rather than just saying it's welcoming. I also love that Trellis embraces the whole kids + parents + dogs brewery situation. You can't always get a babysitter, and so smart!!. More importantly: the beer is very good, and so is the food. I had the smashburger and fries, my husband had a Banh mi Dog, and we shared the pickled vegetables--which were tangy & delish . Everything was reasonably priced, and the service was bright, friendly, and helpful. It is counter service, but honestly, it fits the casual atmosphere perfectly. Bonus points: dogs are welcome inside, too. They just can't be on the couches, which seems like a perfectly reasonable boundary even though Gypsy may disagree. Gypsy had an excellent evening, made approximately 47 new friends, and thoroughly approved. I could absolutely see us becoming regulars here. Great beer, good food, cool space, dogs welcome. I'm sold.

The brewery space is large. It sits in a old building, has a decent outdoor space, and is very artistic, including murals on the side of a building. I don't know Louisville that well, but I would guess this is an arts district. Feel free to drop a note if I am off. Parking is ample, as well, so no issue. THere were plenty of people in here when I arrived, but it did not feel that full, which is nice. Dog friendly, kid friendly. Beer is above average. I would not say this is one of the very top of the Louisville beer scene, but what I had was very good.

Are we talking "On Heavens Gate!"…read more Yes, Bob Dylan, that inspirational author, songwriter, wordsmith, and artist has a Bourbon. Now they were looking for where to build his so called place to breathe life into it. That "it," place. It's not in Nashville, it's here in small little Louisville. I loved walking through the rooms and seeing all the vintage details and stained glass. The Whiskey room has quite the shock factor with floor to ceiling bottles lining the walls. No complaints to be made about the service! It felt quick and smooth! The signature cocktails we ordered were very good (not pictured)! My only disappointment was the limited menu. The menu seemed to be mostly appetizers and pizza with some additional options for entrees. We ordered the Holy Fire Dip for a starter and it was delicious! It was warm and had great flavor. The waitress did need to bring more bread, the dipping options felt sparse. My husband and I split The Burnt Offering Pizza and Sanctuary Sliders, they were both solid. We both favored the pizza but would have liked more variety. I can see why this place comes highly recommended for the experience. I would definitely come back but hope they expand the menu by then!

With the wedding day scheduled for a Saturday, the bridal party and groomsmen were able to leave gowns, beauty products, suits, and overnight bags in our rooms the Friday before upon completing the rehearsal. This allowed for an easy situation to walk in to on the morning of the wedding as we prepared for the ceremony later that afternoon. The house was built in the mid 1800s and has been kept within the family since then. The current owners, Kim and Chaz, take great pride in the house and were extremely accommodating towards our group. They were on hand throughout Saturday to answer any questions. As a history nerd, I loved speaking with them more on the history of the house and the surrounding gardens (that were stunningly beautiful in September) as I snuck a cigarette on the back porch during the reception. When the bride & groom booked the venue, they were also able to secure accommodations for the bridal party. Considering that all five of the bridesmaids live over an hour away, it made for the perfect place to crash post reception. Our two flower girls had a ball exploring the house and spent the night as well with no problem. To top off the magical wedding weekend, Kim and Chaz prepared coffee and breakfast on Sunday morning for the guests that spent the night. I highly recommend considering Midlane Farm as a special events venue. The service we received certainly deserves five stars!

Once you get through the door, there is a decent sized bar to your right. The rest of the place is seating at tables, both high and low. There is also a outside area in the back. If you have been to Atrium, the feel is very similar. From a beer standpoint, Monnik is in the B+ range, which means it is decent. I grabbed a flight and then a couple of samplers of seasonals after dinner. Very innovative and I would highly recommend trying some of the styles outside of the flagship. The peach grisette, a style you don't find often, was on point. Same with the New Year Old Ale and BA Minimator. Needless to say, I had my designated driver after these 11% and 12% brews. It is not a place people would travel across the country for, but the beer is better than most in the area. I usually stop at Atrium, which I would put in the A category, but I love exploring new places. Monnik did not disappoint. For food, we just grabbed a pretzel. My two cents. THe beer cheese is just okay. The Gouda fondue is the bomb. If I could have the spent grain bread or pretzel with just gouda fondue, I could eat this regularly.
