I wish I could give it 10 stars! They deserve it! What a wonderful Bed and Breakfast hotel…read more Jeremy and Mark run an exceptional place with truly an unbelievable attention to details. The rooms are all lovely and so beautifully appointed and their service is top notch. What's more their breakfasts are expertly and beautifully presented by chef Mark. I don't know if I could find anything to be critical of as they do such a wonderful job as proprietors. Yes, if I am in Louisville again, I will definitely stay here and recommend all my friends and family do the same.

Jeremy and Mark have a beautiful B&B and the attention to detail will exceed any expectation. My husband and I stayed 5 nights in the Rose Cottage for his 50th birthday in early September. The amazing cottage was comfortable and quiet with everything needed for our stay. The main house is beautifully appointed and decorated and your hosts think of every detail. Nice touches included flavored whiskeys and treats made by Mark available in the common area at all times. The breakfast available each morning (prepared by Mark) was amazing and the menu is diverse enough to cater to any taste. Jeremy and Mark are truly passionate about Louisville and Jeremy provided awesome suggestions for tours, dining, and other activities. Jeremy also keeps a fine selection of bourbons in-house and his Black Walnut Old-Fashioned is a must try! Jeremy and Mark have forged relationships locally that can give your stay something extra, as well. We booked the Birthday Package, which included a bouquet of flowers, delicious cake from an established local bakery and two of the Black Walnut Old Fashioned's. We also added on the Angels Envy Package which was well worth the money! It included two leather covered glasses, a giftcard to a local steakhouse that has an amazing assortment of whiskeys, a special bottle of Angel's Envy and two tickets to their distillery tour. Which ended up being one of our favorite, and most informative tours of our stay. My husband and I found Inn at Woodhaven to be absolutely spectacular and we were already booking our next stay within two weeks of being home. We truly felt like we were leaving a friend when we departed.

Recently spent 3 wonderful days and 2 glorious nights at the beautiful Spring Run Farm and Inn…read more(horse farm and bed & breakfast) in Prospect, KY. My hubby took me there in celebration of my 70th birthday! An equestrian experience was actually #2 on my bucket list, and it was such a joy to spend time at this amazing place!! Have always loved horses, and have had some experience/training as a teenager, but hadn't gotten my hands on a horse in decades. We were met at the inn at check-in by co-owner and master chef, Jeff Perellis. He showed us around the B&B, gave us a history lesson about the 2 circa 1790's cabins that had been enclosed within the beautifully restored dwelling, and made us feel most welcome. Later during our stay, he prepared several truly delicious breakfasts and dinners for us, as well. Co-owner Susan Perellis, an award-winning horsewoman whose family has owned this property for over 200 years and who grew up on the farm, arranged for us to have a riding lesson and trail ride with one of her trainers. The instructor, Linda, was very patient with us old folks, and was wonderful to work with. And a shout out to Linda's daughter, Lisa, who acted as a sort of ambassador for the farm from the minute we stepped past the inn's gate and into the horse barn area. (They have 5 barns and dozens and dozens of horses there!!) Lisa introduced us to most of the horses, helped teach us how to interact with them, gave us tips on riding, etc. Many people who come to Spring Run Farm and Inn just stay the night while they are doing other things in the area. Not us! We parked the car, then stayed on the property the whole time to get the most from this adventure! All the other riders at the farm were exceptionally friendly, as well, and were always willing to tell us about their horses, and often gave us treats to give to them! (Who knew horses liked peppermint candy!!) During our stay, we walked all over the property, and were also able to observe several riding lessons during our visit. Our entire experience at Spring Run Farm and Inn exceeded our expectations far beyond our wildest dreams, but the "icing on the cake" was going with owners Susan and Jeff during their "night check" of all the horses in the barns!! Can't tell you how special and magical it was to walk into a darkened barn at night, having Susan switch on the light, and all the beautiful horses sticking their heads out of their stalls to see who was coming to visit them!! A big THANK YOU to Jeff, Susan, Linda, Lisa, and everybody at Spring Run Farm and Inn for helping me celebrate my special birthday! We hope to be back soon!!!

We stayed in July and the days were consistently in the 90s and with the humidity it felt like over 100. The house and our room were always cool, it was such a relief. The WiFi was strong and present every where. Breakfast!! The first night it was just myself, my wife and nine year old daughter staying at the Inn. Jeff, the proprietor, asked what time we wanted breakfast. With nothing early to do that day we settled on 8:30. We came downstairs at 8:30 to find the table set. Coffee and orange juice on the table. There was yogurt and fresh blueberries and strawberries too. Then Jeff brought the eggs, bacon and potatoes! So much more than the bagel and granola bar I was expecting! I won't step though all four breakfasts in this much detail but just list some things that Jeff, a former chef, served. Bacon every day, baked French toast with fruit, a quiche, grits (my request), pancakes and there was always cereal if my daughter turned her nose up at something. This was the best meal of the day every day we were there! Did I mention how hot it was? We had brought a cooler on the five hour drive from home with water and pop that we planned to drink throughout the week. We brought the whole cooler home untouched! As we 'checked in' Jeff showed us the beverage fridge (water, soda, beer) which he kept stocked for the whole stay. Finally I will mention the early evening social hour snacks. Chips, dip, veggies, meat, cheese and always a bottle wine. Any time I need to be in Louisville I will be staying at the Inn !!

The home is an incredible historic building on the iconic St James Court street in Old Louisville. The street is gorgeous and the Inn is right in the heart of it, right by all the beautiful fountains and blooming trees of early spring. There's a small patio on the front porch that, during nicer weather, you can sit and take it all in. My room was VERY comfortable, with a huge plush king sized bed, a spacious bathroom with heated towels, and stocked with toiletries and small bathroom appliances. I was only in town for 30 hours for a work event and by the time I got back to the inn that night I was EXHAUSTED. I slept like a baby. So much so that I slept right up until I had to leave for my flight the next morning, meaning I missed the included breakfast. But the offerings sounded fantastic. Pat is a wonderful, gracious, and warm host. I'd recommend a stay here in a heartbeat and look forward to my return.
