We booked it for both a corporate event for our California business and also a personal party in 2015 to entertain friends within a one hour flight from Chicago. I was referred to it by a guy in New York who was looking for a place to entertain two sets of clients, one in in Lexington and one in Louisville, at a central location around the Oaks and to do the Bourbon trail one day. It is a midpoint location part way between. They have a unique high ceiling apartment rental next door that I think you can rent in conjunction with the event space. The unit is huge. I stayed one day while I was siting my party weekend. That makes for a great place for the wedding party say or to entertain the most important clients at your event. Both the space and the loft are very unique and have a much younger/modern vibe compared to the traditional decor and architecture for this town. There is a good Mexican restaurant next door. I really liked the open layout, you could decorate it however you liked if you wanted to do a theme, but it also looks great with the minimalist shop lights and functional sliding warehouse-style door. I don't want to quote prices because it probably depends but I was surprised how reasonable it was, talk to them yourself... The primary drawbacks as I see it is there is nothing else to rent like this within 20 miles, so I probably will have to rent it several years in advance and I tend to have a hard time planning work events too far in advance so it may be booked before my 16 and 17 event is planned. I talked to Kevin, who was very informative and down to earth. I met with an owner there also who happened to be dropping by to weigh in on some details. He is a broker in this town and said he did this as a creative outlet (enjoys rehabbing historic properties) and to increase the demand for permanent housing nearby as he is an investor, so that is how he can justify to rent it out at what I calc'd to be below-market rates for this type of space. If you like modern style, high ceilings and flexible space with a nod to the past and walkability to nearby goods and services(huge factor for us) is a big consideration for you, this is your thing. Check it out for yourself ... I think you will agree with what I am saying though- the place is sharp and this town had needed something like it for a long time. Look forward to many events here.

The Pointe is a cool place for a wedding. It is…read morePinterest-Picture-Perfect. A pretty mash up of industrial minimal meets rustic. I have attended two different weddings here, and both were absolutely wonderful. They both had very similar feels to them, because the space has a defined aesthetic to it already, and there is only so much that can be done to change up a space that during the week also is home to other businesses and studios. But it also appears as though they are happy to work with you to provide unique and individual touches. It is an all-in-one venue. Space for the ceremony as well as the reception. A reception room big enough for a decent sized wedding party table, cake table, bar, cozy guest tables for dinner, and still space for an ample dance floor. The restrooms are clean and there are enough to handle a weddings' worth of folks through out the night with minimal lines. They have a dedicated, though small parking lot, and as long as there isn't a huge event at Copper and Kings up the road, ample street parking is available. The ceremony chairs could use some refreshing/replacing. The first wedding I attended here had many people annoyed and embarrassed that the seats of the chairs weren't holding properly and falling towards the ground...sometimes bringing their seated cargo with them. It was a slight comfort once one realized that they were not alone in this occurrence...but still embarrassing. Certainly worth checking out as a venue, if you are looking for a joint ceremony/reception space!

They are a very…read moreexpensive place to rent, but what they don't tell you is there are so many added fees after you've paid the initial deposit. Yes some people are fine with spending the money... but put those charges on upfront! It was a crazy amount of add ons for an already pricey venue. They don't even provide the wedding insurance. What kind of venue isn't already insured? The lack of communication and professionalism was disheartening. My sister got married here last Friday and it was a beautiful wedding... but all the behind the scenes was a disaster. They had scheduled tours for when the bride and groom were having their "first touch" and reading prayers... so there were people talking over them and getting in the way of the PAID photographer and videographer. And they didn't listen when told to lower their voices. Extremely rude and the fact that they didn't tell anyone they were scheduling random people to come in and look while a wedding was taking place was just really unprofessional. It made the bride and groom very upset and honestly made me quite upset too. I understand it's also a shared business space but I saw no one from the other businesses get in the way more than the actual event people. And then they only have five approved caterers. Which makes sense when you under the industry... but why they chose those specific caterers made no sense because of the lack of communication with them was just awful. And one of the caterers never even got back with us after an inquiry. And the one caterer we went with had probably the worst food I've eaten. Like I've had better cafeteria food. And they wouldn't approve of any other vendors, even if they were reputable and had a full staff. Terrible communication. Ridiculous standards. Would never recommend this spot to anyone.

Perfect All-In-One Wedding Venue!…read more I was a bridesmaid at a wedding at Victoria Chapel and Hall, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. Having both the chapel and the hall on-site created the perfect all-in-one setting for the ceremony and reception -- everything flowed so seamlessly. The venue itself is a beautiful historic church, full of elegance and charm, which made the whole day feel extra special. The bridal and groom suites were absolutely perfect and made getting ready so comfortable and enjoyable. The managers and staff were incredibly helpful, kind, and wonderful to work with throughout the day. Every detail felt thoughtful and well cared for. I can't recommend Victoria Chapel and Hall highly enough for anyone looking for a stunning, convenient, and welcoming place to host a wedding!

My fiancée and I thought we had finally found our wedding venue at The Victoria: Chapel and Hall…read more We toured it twice, brought family, talked about where the tables would go, what songs we'd dance to -- all the little details that make a day unforgettable. It felt perfect. During our visit, we noticed a shelf full of Bibles. The staff told us not to worry -- they'd be removed for our day because the space was "sometimes rented out to churches." That made us feel comfortable, like our wedding would be treated with the same respect as anyone else's. When we received the contract later, we were shocked to find a section about "Christian values" and ministry. We asked for clarification -- only to be told days later that they don't allow LGBTQ weddings. I'm a transgender man, and my fiancée is a cis woman. We're just two people who love each other deeply, and to be told our love didn't belong there -- after all the excitement, after all the planning -- was absolutely crushing. We weren't angry. We were heartbroken. Because no couple should have to feel like their love is something that needs to be "allowed." I'm sharing this because we wouldn't want anyone else to feel that same pain. Love should never have fine print.

In this case, my sister was able to go from the basement (where the dressing rooms are) all the way up two floors to the top floor (where the ceremony was) without anyone on the first or second floor seeing her.
