I've been here on one of this nights and the hot dogs were good. The design of this bar is unique. My buddy and me joke it reminded us of walking into our grandmas as ir has a downstairs basement that is small with low ceilings and a pool table. Overall pretty solid place. It is a small neighborhood bar that has quite some years on it and you can tell. I was greeted by the hosts for the shuttle bus and got a complimentary beer for choosing Nachbar as my pick up location. I did get my complimentary beer and left a generous tip. They had Nords Donuts for food for this event. Beer and Donuts? Very odd combination, was hoping for The Post Pizza or something that was real food. It was free so no complaints other than it was an odd combo. Note: they don't serve food at Nachbar. The inside is kinda dated and there is good seating. Bathrooms are set up like Mag Bar and Kerns Korner. IFYKYK. The outside is more spacious than the inside. They do have a nice patio. As for the inside it looks cool and they have plenty of board games and plenty of local beer on taps that you don't see at most bars. I wouldn't come here on a regular basis but, the local beer selection is a hit with me.

They called my brother a "privileged white boy" and then proceeded to devolve in middle school insults towards our mother who wasn't even present at the time... I cannot even begin to tell you the Jerry Springer/Dr. Phill shinanigans that went on last night at the Pearl.... But like many fancy pearls that are taken in for appraisal, this bar turned out to be a disgraceful imitation of what the city of Louisville is meant to be. After telling the people who worked at the establishment to please just go inside and lock their doors to stop further antagonizing my family, the man with the horrible bald fade and limp pancake hair flipped my dad off behind the glass door.
