When first entering I notice that it's filled with decor and just something to look at, at every corner. The service at the bar is quick & all the way to the back outdoors is where they had their event with the boil and chill people that would chat with anyone. I was apprehensive about going alone, but it was such great exposure therapy especially since everyone was so kind & talkative! When I went up to get my serving I didn't know seasoning it was even an option, but I got it each time!! They scooped a generous amount for me & tossed it in a Vietnamese chili sauce, it was phenomenal. I've never eaten it that way before, but glad to experience it! The servings were huge & they allowed me to get 3 helpings!!! When talking with the locals I was told they do free dinners numerous nights, and would love to visit again! Such a great time!

If I could give a negative star review I would very much do so. My family traveled in from western…read moreKentucky to enjoy my cousin's wedding and had just finished the reception dinner when we were looking to find somewhere to catch up, as we all work busy lives and never truly get to see each other as much as we like. Now, stepping out of the Uber with my dad and uncle I am let with a very disgruntled brother because whoever was running the joint asked to check IDs of him and his wife, and was auto rejected. Mind you it was around 1 am... But they're business hours say open until 4am. It quickly devolved from there. My family wanted to know why they were rejected. Not a harmful question by any means. Instead of practicing a proper business model the workers or... Frankly whatever they are, proceeded to rage bait my family, and pull out phones to video the scene for whatever reason than to make themselves out as some sort of victims of circumstance? They called my brother a "privileged white boy" and then proceeded to devolve in middle school insults towards our mother who wasn't even present at the time... I cannot even begin to tell you the Jerry Springer/Dr. Phill shinanigans that went on last night at the Pearl.... But like many fancy pearls that are taken in for appraisal, this bar turned out to be a disgraceful imitation of what the city of Louisville is meant to be. After telling the people who worked at the establishment to please just go inside and lock their doors to stop further antagonizing my family, the man with the horrible bald fade and limp pancake hair flipped my dad off behind the glass door. If you want drama and a scene? This is the bar for you. If you're looking for somewhere quiet to share a couple drinks and catch up with family... Steer. Clear. This is not a place where human beings are treated fairly.

We sat outside on a beautiful Saturday on a really large nice patio. They don't worry about anyone running out on the bill because you walk up and place your order and pay right then. When your light up device goes off you go pick it up. Again , the food was excellent!

When I saw they were hosting a Love Island season premiere party, I knew it was the perfect time to finally check it out. Parking was easy - we found street parking right across the street, and there's also a reasonably price parking lot directly across from the entrance for after hours parking. What surprised me the most was the size of this place. It's HUGE! There are so many outdoor seating areas that it never felt crowded, even during a special event. Inside, there were two rooms with large TVs showing Love Island, plus themed decorations and drink specials that made the watch party that much more special. There were 8 of us and it was not difficult to find a table of us all on a Tuesday night. The bartenders were friendly and efficient. I was told the quesadillas were good too! (I had dinner beforehand but my friends ordered some food). The restroom I used was small but clean. Overall, Hauck's Corner lived up to the hype and then some. Great patio spaces, fun events, good food, and excellent service. I can't wait to go back!

Marvelous atmosphere with an interconnected beer garden in the middle. Stunning food offers that shine on their own and sing louder when paired with their beers. The team at holy grale also bring it all together with incredible service. The burger is incredible, but I always come back for the schnitzel platter. I only wish they had a spaetzle to go with it! The fries are proper chippies, thick square cut and long. Crispy outside, fluffy inside. And there are so many dips to choose from. Salads are crisp and light and a marvelous side. I cannot say enough good things. I love the grales.

We had a couple cocktails in here and the service was excellent even though it appeared they were filled to capacity. There were 4 of us in our party and we were seated at a table in the corner near the bar. Was definitely a cozy spot with so many people being in there and the bar being full. I had The Holy Ghost cocktail and it was a pomegranate hibiscus sour, it had just the right amount of sour! I do not like bitter drinks and this one was good and easy to drink. My husband had a couple of dark beers, I do not remember which ones but he liked them. They had a nice outdoor area but it was a bit too cool for that but it may be worth a return in the Spring to check it out. Bathroom was also really cool as the decor and theme spilled over into it. We will be back.
