I started going here after some terrible experiences with my mechanic of several years, and E1 has…read moreconsistently been great to work with. I decided to give them a shot after such an incredible experience getting my windows tinted at their other shop. I am car illiterate and they're super patient with me. They've caught and thoroughly explained improper past fixes and what kinds of issues I have. They are proactive in communication, are friendly, and the ability to get an uber ride to and from the shop on their dime is incredible. They've also given me a loaner to use when they've had my car for extended periods. My last shop (European Service Center ) felt like I was picking up a part time job just to get any communication and my car would sometimes be there days on end without getting worked on. I feel like E1 is super respectful of my time, cares about my business, is very professional, and keeps me informed without me asking- it's so refreshing and appreciated. They are not the cheapest but also not wildly expensive either; their pricing is on par with my last shop and things are actually done right. I recognize that things don't always go perfectly and care a lot about how a company reacts to makes things right. I had a slight issue with my struts repair after about 9 months after the fix and they stood behind their work no problem and fixed it promptly (they have a 3 year warranty on work done). Just a great business.

I was expecting this to be a relatively cheap repair considering it's a fairly easy job. Now I completely understand that a shop has to pay their techs and make money but they charged me 149.99 for an IGNITION SWITCH. Normally a $14 part. They also didn't run the price by me which made me think that they were going to be reasonable. If you're going to mark up a part 10x, don't you think that would be something you should run by your customers first? So I walked out of there paying $490. For a 14 dollar part and a solenoid ($60). On top of all this, they uninstalled a kill switch without telling me and they also uninstalled my trackhawk security system. Once I brought this to their attention they told me to go back to the installer, which I had to pay another $150. If they were unable to reinstall something, they should've let me know first. Also now I'm having other electrical problems within the car. I am not accusing them of anything but I was not experiencing these problems before I had them work on it. When I saw other high-end cars like Chrysler's Crossfire pulling out with a smiling face I kinda knew this might be worth it, a my god was I right! Friendly service, professional knowledge, and very reasonable pricing. I did the option of buying my parts online first, but you can have them buy it and still be reasonable pricing. Took my parts I bought from Advance Auto parts and had them install. Other professional automotive services such as FIRESTONE wanted double the price for labor, and triple for parts. I drive a 87 Chevy 1/2 ton pickup (v6). I had my Front brake pads, idle arm, spark plugs, fuel filter, and Alignment done. FIRESTONE wanted $700 for labor. I've been driving my vehicle for about 2 weeks since the service and it still feels like new when I left the shop. Also they honor a 3 month parts & labor warranty. I recommend the guys to my mom and they gave her a great quote for shocks, and brake pad installment. This is the kind of place you want to find when your trying to avoid pricey Auto servicing, but still get the satisfaction and trust worthy knowledge from a mechanic!
