We had already experienced a difficult week after being evacuated from our homes during the TPC Explosion in Port Neches, Texas and it became even more difficult when my sister Michele had a double blow out on her RV on Hwy 225 in Pasadena. I believe I was just about to throw the towel in and give up. But then came along Fred and Mike, after closing hours. They didn't have to stop and did not know us from Billy Joe Jim Bob, but they did stop and rendered help where is was certainly needed. We were not able to lift the RV with jacks high enough to get the new tires onto the axles. At the time of anyone's reading of this post, I guarantee you we would still be there trying but for Fred and Mike, who I must say were quite jovial and competitive with one another during the process, making it so much more tolerable and setting my sister and me at ease. When they were finished replacing the tires and inflating them to the proper pressure, I offered to compensate them for their time, but Fred said. "No thank you," and expressed that it wasn't the reason he stopped. However, it was passed time for him to get home to his wife and dinner. To Fred's wife: "I thank you for your patience and for having such a considerate husband." To Mike: "Thank you for having the strength to handle the equipment needed to lift the RV.
