My girlfriend hyped this place up because the first time she had the birria tacos, she said they were incredibly crunchy and packed with flavor. Unfortunately, that wasn't the experience we had this time around. The tacos were pretty soggy and lacked the texture that apparently made them stand out before. She even joked that they must've had a different cook working that day. The food wasn't bad, but it also didn't live up to the expectations that were set. The consommé was decent and the portions were generous, but overall the flavor was just average. If I were rating this visit alone, it would probably be closer to a 3/5. That said, I'm giving it a 4/5 because my girlfriend has had a much better experience here before and swears it's usually better than what we received. The other factor is the price. For a restaurant where you order at the counter, grab your number, and seat yourself, it feels a bit expensive for what you get. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Now the inside is small and all the tables were full so we ordered got a number and went outside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It wasn't too hot out yet. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We picked a table on the patio, the area was clean and so were the tables and chairs, each table was decorated different and had a pot of flowers.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The nice cashier that took our order, delivered our food to the table. We each had a street taco. As you can see its was load with meat and tops all on a fresh tortilla, it had great flavor, refreshing with the onions and cilantro. We had a late lunch and decided to stop by this establishment. This is the first time we've been here. We ordered the Menudo and a queso Birria taco; both were great. The homemade corn tortillas were delicious. We also ordered a couple of pineapple drinks which were not up to par so we decided on a couple of fountain sodas. These were carbonated just right. I wasn't impressed. I ended up getting a taco salad and it was more shell then filling more lettuce than meat. I feel they went a little cheap with the portion size. The cashier was friendly and offered some suggestions. The location looks nice. I'm not sure if I would come back again because I was disappointed with the serving amount. Came here after showing clients some properties and honestly quite surprised. The food was really good, I got chicken chile verde enchiladas and I think I inhaled it. Mix that with the rice, beans and salsa...yummmm! And of course had to try their horchata and it did not disappoint! Service was fast! No issues with finding parking or a table. New restaurant in an old Mexican location off Campus and the 210 exit. Taco Tuesday was good with 11 different types of meat to choose from. The tacos are small but the meat serving is generous. I went by today to get a to go order for myself and my family since we figured it was taco Tuesday. After purchasing I noticed the discount was $.25 off per Taco. I ended up giving them a tip for their services. Upon receiving my food they gave me 1 bag of chips, I asked for 2 additional bags since it was for 3 people and I ordered 10 tacos they told me it was an additional charge, you only get one bag for free, unless you're eating there you get unlimited. I decided not to since it didn't make much sense, when I got home and served everyone we noticed there was only 1 napkin, I would think especially when giving a tip you would pay attention to detail. I don't think I'll be returning to this establishment considering all that happened tonight. read more

Arrived with no potato tacos & onion all over my other tacos. Called of which they said I could return for correction. Service is very quick and friendly. They bring the plate to you and just put your plates/any leftover food in trash. The ambiance feels cozy and welcoming. There is indoor and outdoor seating, and the tables outside are very unique. The food is very delicious and flavorful. My boyfriend says it's one of the best California burritos he has had. Ordered today through door dash (2 items) the door dash driver called me when they were already in front of the house saying that the restaurant called him saying they forgot one of the items and offered to drive back (keep in mind that it wasn't far). When I received the order, one of he items was already cold. I called the restaurant and they claimed that door dash sent the order separately and there tablet didn't spit out both orders. It was a Togo order, when I got home my taquitos weren't in there I called this location and the young girl that took my order said " i know we forgot to give you the taquitos" and said she would refund me but sadly never did. We finally tried this place after a year or so. So the hard shell tacos are really good but definitely needs more meat. The shell is crispy not greasy and has flavor. The street tacos are a better buy because the are loaded with meat and cilantro and onions. The salsa is good but you got to use the HOT, the others are simply too mild. The carnitas are done well and the beans and rice are also really tasty. These people know how to flavor and season their meats. Love it , just need more meat in the hard shell tacos.
