Quesabirria tacos and the consommé it comes with were unbelievable. Can't wait to go back and get some more.

My girlfriend hyped this place up because the first time she had the birria tacos, she said they were incredibly crunchy and packed with flavor. Unfortunately, that wasn't the experience we had this time around. The tacos were pretty soggy and lacked the texture that apparently made them stand out before. She even joked that they must've had a different cook working that day. The food wasn't bad, but it also didn't live up to the expectations that were set. The consommé was decent and the portions were generous, but overall the flavor was just average. If I were rating this visit alone, it would probably be closer to a 3/5. That said, I'm giving it a 4/5 because my girlfriend has had a much better experience here before and swears it's usually better than what we received. The other factor is the price. For a restaurant where you order at the counter, grab your number, and seat yourself, it feels a bit expensive for what you get. I'd be willing to give it another shot since it sounds like consistency may be the issue, but based on this visit, it didn't quite live up to the hype. read more

My son and husband's birria was great along with the fresh made corn tortillas. No complaints there. However, I ordered taquitos and there was no guacamole. Who sells taquitos with no guacamole???? So disappointing. This is why I prefer Pepe's but since my husband was close to this place, he picked up from here. Hidden between a sandwich shop and yogurt shop is a little Mexican restaurant with a clean cute little patio and some amazing smells come out of the place. The smell of fresh tortillas, grilled meats and hint salas hit your nose and we had to go inside. Now the inside is small and all the tables were full so we ordered got a number and went outside. It wasn't too hot out yet. We picked a table on the patio, the area was clean and so were the tables and chairs, each table was decorated different and had a pot of flowers. The nice cashier that took our order, delivered our food to the table. We each had a street taco. As you can see its was load with meat and tops all on a fresh tortilla, it had great flavor, refreshing with the onions and cilantro. We will definitely be back the burrito and nachos look yummy. The first thing I noticed about my food here was how fresh it was. That made the meal quite delightful. The rice and beans were delicious. My al pastor tacos were slightly over cooked, but the overall flavor was still gratifying. I like that they didn't overdo it with heavy sauce and extra cooked veggies. At the same time, that was also what made the meat stand out. I have no issue with extras, but sometimes I just want a simple taco. Their side sauces had a flavor very different than what I use to, but they meshed well with my entree. The customer service was great, and I received my meal quickly. I ordered it to go, but I decided to stay and eat in so I didn't have to reheat my meal. It being my first time there I wanted to make sure I got that "in house" experience. The restaurant is small, yet the outdoor seating is greatly accommodating. It is clean and appears to be well kept. We had a late lunch and decided to stop by this establishment. This is the first time we've been here. We ordered the Menudo and a queso Birria taco; both were great. The homemade corn tortillas were delicious. We also ordered a couple of pineapple drinks which were not up to par so we decided on a couple of fountain sodas. These were carbonated just right. The interior has booths tables and there's also outdoor seating to enjoy your meal. The customer service was great. The young lady who served us was courteous and professional. She visited our table a few times to make sure everything was to our liking. Will be visiting again soon we wanna try their sister restaurant on Arrow route. I wasn't impressed. I ended up getting a taco salad and it was more shell then filling more lettuce than meat. I feel they went a little cheap with the portion size. The cashier was friendly and offered some suggestions. The location looks nice. I'm not sure if I would come back again because I was disappointed with the serving amount. Walked in and the place was your typical Mexican restaurant, spanish music, talavera tiles, and great menu items. The girl at the counter was friendly and they are on top of taking out food and checking to see if you're doing ok. I got the quesabirria with consome on the side. New restaurant in an old Mexican location off Campus and the 210 exit. Taco Tuesday was good with 11 different types of meat to choose from. The tacos are small but the meat serving is generous. Came here after showing clients some properties and honestly quite surprised. The food was really good, I got chicken chile verde enchiladas and I think I inhaled it. Mix that with the rice, beans and salsa...yummmm! And of course had to try their horchata and it did not disappoint! Service was fast! No issues with finding parking or a table. Service is very quick and friendly. They bring the plate to you and just put your plates/any leftover food in trash. The ambiance feels cozy and welcoming. There is indoor and outdoor seating, and the tables outside are very unique. The food is very delicious and flavorful. My boyfriend says it's one of the best California burritos he has had. The shrimp taco was super yummy. The carne asada tacos were nice but 100% recommend birria, shrimp and carnitas tacos! I went by today to get a to go order for myself and my family since we figured it was taco Tuesday. After purchasing I noticed the discount was $.25 off per Taco. I ended up giving them a tip for their services. Upon receiving my food they gave me 1 bag of chips, I asked for 2 additional bags since it was for 3 people and I ordered 10 tacos they told me it was an additional charge, you only get one bag for free, unless you're eating there you get unlimited. I decided not to since it didn't make much sense, when I got home and served everyone we noticed there was only 1 napkin, I would think especially when giving a tip you would pay attention to detail. Ordered ahead asked for potato tacos included in an order of 8 tacos total. Also asked for the onion to be on the side. Picked up order & went on my way (my mistake of not opening before leaving). Arrived with no potato tacos & onion all over my other tacos. Called of which they said I could return for correction. Ordered today through door dash (2 items) the door dash driver called me when they were already in front of the house saying that the restaurant called him saying they forgot one of the items and offered to drive back (keep in mind that it wasn't far). When I received the order, one of he items was already cold. I called the restaurant and they claimed that door dash sent the order separately and there tablet didn't spit out both orders. I spoke to a door dash representative and they indicated that they don't have that ability to send separate orders. . If it was a mistake by the restaurant they should admit to it and not try to blame door dash.
