Although our AC wasn't working and we had to call the front desk - I am not removing any stars from my review - because maintenance arrived so quickly and fixed the issue immediately. This did not ruin our experience because we spent the majority of our time in the refreshing pools. They have shallow pools for little ones, a deeper pool for older individuals & they also have a relaxing jacuzzi. Loved it! We also visited the movie theater next door. It's a family friendly resort and my children did enjoy their stay as well. There is plenty to do for both adults & children. Great place to relax and enjoy some family time.

My cousin spearhead this pilgrimage where my mom her dad & their siblings & parents were detained during WWII. Hampton Inn is one of the hotels in Parker AZ where many of the Japanese Americans came for the Posten pilgrimage & to pay homage to those that had been here. This event proved to be a great way for our family to reunite. My mom her 3 siblings & grandparents were all detained in Posten. The facility was clean, the AC blew wonderfully cold (a must in Arizona), and the pillows were comfortable enough to earn a good night's sleep. The continental breakfast was surprisingly decent and gave us a solid start to the day. While this isn't a five-star resort, it provided all the amenities we needed without any fuss. I called the number on the door (which phones the empty room that I was staring at). Absolutely no one was there. It took a good 45-minutes for someone to show up. When the young lady did show up she said she'd needed to go to the bathroom. But it was a scary wait not knowing if anyone would show up! 3) Next morning I couldn't get the internet to work so I decided to go to the front office. No one was there. Waited 10 minutes then left. 4) After an outing in town, my key wouldn't work. Went to the front office and again had to wait for about 30 minutes (this time with an older couple having the same key issues) for someone to show up. The front office needs to be constantly staffed. It is a huge error to have customers sitting around just waiting for someone. I've never had this issue anywhere else and I have to say, it was not pleasant having to wait for someone. Staff is VERY friendly once they get there. Would go back again, hoping that they've fixed the staffing issues.
