The rooms a bit dated, but clean and well maintained. The TV's don't get many channels. The continental breakfast was surprisingly decent and gave us a solid start to the day. While this isn't a five-star resort, it provided all the amenities we needed without any fuss. Minus one star for the following: 1) Pool was not working when I came, it had been drained. That's fine but I was looking forward to a quick swim since they'd advertised a pool. But this wasn't 'terrible' and I quickly got over it. 2) When I showed up around 8pm there was no one in the office and a sign on the door saying no vacancy. But I had a reservation?! I called the number on the door (which phones the empty room that I was staring at). Absolutely no one was there. It took a good 45-minutes for someone to show up. When the young lady did show up she said she'd needed to go to the bathroom. But it was a scary wait not knowing if anyone would show up! 3) Next morning I couldn't get the internet to work so I decided to go to the front office. No one was there. Waited 10 minutes then left. 4) After an outing in town, my key wouldn't work. Went to the front office and again had to wait for about 30 minutes (this time with an older couple having the same key issues) for someone to show up. The front office needs to be constantly staffed. It is a huge error to have customers sitting around just waiting for someone. I've never had this issue anywhere else and I have to say, it was not pleasant having to wait for someone. Staff is VERY friendly once they get there. Would go back again, hoping that they've fixed the staffing issues.
