The weather is way too hot for a tent this time of year and it was really nice to have an a/c, full size fridge, microwave and private bathroom. The motel room itself is very bare bones; you will need to bring your own blankets & pillows and mattress is thin and firm on a simple metal frame. But everything was clean and in working order. It worked out very well. I especially loved that they had a picnic table right out front for us to utilize. A short walk down the street, there is a really cool restaurant, arcade and beach down by the water, complete with umbrellas, tables and even a kiddie pool. In the opposite direction, a bit further away, there is a large pool and jacuzzi...but we preferred to swim and hang out by the river. There was wifi but it only worked sometimes. We didn't really have any service during our stay; a forced but much needed reprieve from the outside world. Overall, we really enjoyed it. The views of the river and mountains are unmatched. We would definitely stay here again.

We had to leave early, service was HORID, staff couldn't fix the issue, instead they were rude and tried blame it on our camper, when the box was never installed right, don't even bother asking for compensation, you'll get nothing back, seems they care more for the yearly renters than getting customers to return. We had 4 campers, we ALL LEFT EARLY!! HORRIBLE CAMP SITE, HORRIBLE STAFF/SERVICE, NEVER WILL WE RETURN!! And I will file a report in every social media site to make sure new campers are aware!!!! The hotel may look dated on the outside but I promise you when you get inside you will be pleasantly surprised. My husband and I travel a lot for work and we are in a different hotel every night, so when we walked in we were pleased. It has everything you need. The rooms are clean and the bed is comfortable. They are in the process of a remodeling job too. The lady in the office and the housekeeping lady are wonderful and so helpful. We will definitely stay again. Friendly people, clean restrooms and laundry room, though I was told the laundry room is a busy place. There is a clubhouse but I saw no park activities taking place. The price is reasonable for this area. This place works, I call it a 3+, and I would come back but it has its flaws. Our site was far from level and I must admit to a little fear at having to raise one side of the trailer so high. All sites are gravel, but the roads are paved. They have no dog park at all. Trash cans only at the back of the park. They do not have cable and while on antenna you have the the major networks, the remaining stations were old reruns and old movies. Basically none of the stations I go to when nothing else is on. The internet works but is pretty slow at certain times of the day, like most other parks I guess. The location is very convenient..

Visited 4/25/2024 Nice rebuilt of The Oldschool Roadrunner…read morenow a New Pricer Resort. Gone is the 60s and 70s River Party Feel. They have done a beautiful Job of upgrading the dock and bar with a tourist type closed in bar. At least they have 1/2 Windows to look out of and see the river and boats go by. No more open river rat atmospheres to welcome you at the floating dock. Clean and a bit more pricy it will draw a different crowd than before. I miss The Oldschool Roadrunner of the past.
