I love to travel with my motorhome and have visited many sites on the Colorado river and Havasu over the years. This location is great, I got a spot first row on the water. Overall the resort is very clean and having the motorhome straight on the water is a big plus. It was a bit disappointing that they only have a 30A service at the resort and that means only one AC running and that's not enough with the high temperature in that area. The store is missing many things such as a 30 A adapter that you think they will have plenty of due to the idea that they only have 30A service on site. Overall it's a nice place and I would definitely be coming back here

Our 3rd year staying at Echo Resort. We rented spot 131 on the water for 5 months. We parked our rig in November and no one was parked next to us. In January when we came back we were greeted by our neighbor with vulgar language, screaming at us that we were trespassing that our rig was on part of his site. All of his cussing and yelling to the point he became threatening. We immediately called the manager and left a voicemail explaining the situation and that I was scared with our neighbors threatening us and his vulgar speech. The manager and security in the park were called several times and we even sent an email asking management to intervene. When Tom and Security did come to the Coach they were good listeners. However, The manager Tom Was not proactive in solving the problem. Tom tried to come to more of a resolution by placating both parties. This man Phil even put a fence up so we could not open our bins. Phil also placed Cat litter boxes out to keep people from Parking in his spot. For management to allow a guest to bully another guest, Put a fence up Restricting us from Getting in our bins and threaten us is irresponsible. In This day and time all threats should be taken seriously. We Left Echo 2 months early due to the fact that our neighbor was literally out of control In anger and insults. Many other long term returned campers said Phil has had conflicts with many!! The location and facilities are nice.

This was my first time at Parker Dam and at Echo Lodge and it was awesome. We arrived late for the 5pm deadline check in,arrived at 8 and our trailer was open for us with the air conditioning on . Yes the trailer is outdated but it was clean and bug free, that's all that mattered to me. The next morning we checked in and was greeted with waves and "good morning" by the residents who live on the property. We reserved a RV on the beach which was perfect to park our Jet skis for the evening and to simply sit outside enjoy Mother Nature and a cocktail by the river front. When the sun rises over the rocks and mountains you can hear the first boat taking a drive on the river, which had us enthusiastic to put our swim gear and life vests on and enjoy the day! We ate at Paradise restaurant on the property which was great the both times we ate and drank there. The bartenders were really nice and struck up conversations with us new comers. I enjoyed our three days at Echo Lodge and will return next season.

Our first time here. This is really probably a 3 1/2 but because of the location I bumped it up. We rented a park owned travel trailer which was decent but if we were staying in our own trailer it would have been much more comfortable. It is nice to be able to go and sleep in something other than a tent and the ac worked great! Just bring a pad or air mattress to sleep on if you don't like a hard bed. The bathroom and showers were clean enough. It was a typical campground shower. The pool area looked nice but since we were camped at the river front location we spent our time there. It was nice to be able to launch the boat once and have access to it easily from our campsite. The stores prices were not bad for the location and they carried a little bit of everything. It was a beautiful area.

I just couldn't take a pix of the worst stall...

She could have kindly asked and/or informed that no outside drinks are allowed if we intended to bring it into the bar. We would have kindly informed that it was about empty and we were throwing it away anyhow. This was our first time at Foxs and the first impression left a marred experience from the get-go. Since we already docked, we walked past the bar and into the food ordering building to get some apps to share - Chicken Tenders, Mac 'n Cheese bites and fries. Not too complicated of items, so as expected, the order came out fresh and hot.

They charge $195 a night for a place that should only be $50 a night. Our friends showed up to a dirty park model-dirty dishes in the sink, dirty bath towels piled next to the shower & a dirty pair of women's underwear in the dirty sheets that had not been changed out. Ours was the same and upon our arrival, a staff member was cleaning our park model and was in and out within 10 minutes. Barely any of the lights work, everything is broken and old. It's time for some major upgrades!

Being first time campers we absolutely loved the campsite in Julian. We agreed to the sales meeting during our free stay and of course fell for the sales pitch and bought in. I wish I would have taken the time to read the reviews on the member services and reservations system they have in place. For start, the girls that handle the calls are definitely not customer service oriented at all. When you drop a call with them or get disconnected (it's happens often) nobody bothers to call you back. So it's back to sitting on hold again. One girl will tell you one thing and the other has a power trip and makes you call back on a later date. Then if you're tired of being treated with disregard and ask to speak to a manager. They tell you the manager is busy and send you to somebody's voicemail that never calls back. If they had a better member service system in place I would definitely change my review.

I want to share my thought so everyone can make an informed decision…read more Colorado River Adventures operates legally, but the business model raises serious concerns. The sales process feels extremely high-pressure, with a strong push to sign the same day under the impression that the deal wouldn't be available later. That alone should be a red flag for anyone making a large financial commitment. The membership structure is essentially a long-term financial obligation with ongoing annual fees that are not always clearly emphasized upfront. Once you're in, getting out is not simple. From what I've seen from others, these contracts are treated like binding loans, which can follow you financially if you try to walk away. Another issue is that some of the benefits and expectations presented during the sales process don't always match the reality of the locations or availability. It can be difficult to book when and where you want, and not all properties are maintained at the level you might expect based on the presentation. There are also broader concerns about customer data security following reports of a data breach, which adds another layer of hesitation when trusting a company like this with personal information. To be clear, this is not about the company being illegal -- it's about whether the value truly matches the cost and commitment. For many people, especially those who don't consistently use the membership, it may not make financial sense. I would strongly recommend anyone considering this to take their time, read the full contract they throw you carefully, and to not make a same-day decision under pressure by the sales team.

Our group had 5 different rigs with 4 of them on the front row with cabana/beach access while our rig was on the second row with a decent view of the river even with rigs parked in front of us. The staff in the office were friendly & helpful especially with helping us extend our visit. When we originally scheduled our site in April we could only stay 3 days but we're able to stay 7 since there were cancellations. The resort was clean & well taken care of with staff always going around cleaning & checking sites for issues. While we were there the resort hosted a canoe (kayak, long board) race (not sure what it was called but it was fun to watch & cheer) We did get some crazy weather (rain/thunderstorm) which did cause some water pooling in the different campsites but we didn't have any issues. We did enjoy the onsite bar/restaurant from happy hour to pizza they had just about everything. The office also had a small convenience store with ice, snacks & a great selection of drinks (both alcoholic & non). Only negative we had was the lack of availability for the same spots next year as the ones we're interested in we're already booked out. Maybe we'll have check back after the new year to see if any availability opens up.
