We stayed @ the Hampton Inn in Parker AZ for 3 days for a pilgrimage to Posten AZ. Posten is a camp where almost 18,000 Japanese Americans were interned during World War II. Posten was one of ten internment camps where approximately 110 - 120,000 Japanese/Americans were housed. My cousin spearhead this pilgrimage where my mom her dad & their siblings & parents were detained during WWII. Hampton Inn is one of the hotels in Parker AZ where many of the Japanese Americans came for the Posten pilgrimage & to pay homage to those that had been here. This event proved to be a great way for our family to reunite. My mom her 3 siblings & grandparents were all detained in Posten. In all we had 36 members of the family that showed up for the pigrimage which turned out to be 16 direct descendants third generation or sensei some wife's & some kids Nice hotel w/a decent breakfast, clean rooms & good staff read more

I stayed here on rewards points and who doesn't love free? Great staff and the entire hotel is exceptionally clean and well-maintained. The buffet coffee was a skosh weak, but they make up for it by having real Philadelphia Cream Cheese, and not imitation cream cheese caulking paste. read more

I would not recommend Hampton Inn in Parker Az. I booked two rooms and one room I was charged twice and when my client showed up, they had canceled his room (Hampton Inn's error) and he had to pay! They got 3 payments for this room!!! I have made multiple calls and the one manager Kendal O'Hara was checking things out and call me back, she never has called me back! I called back and she was in a meeting and she slipped the front desk girl a note saying it all should be credited and she would check it out and call me back, GUESS WHAT she never has called me back. Got another credit card statement and no credit. I called again. The girl at the front desk said a different manager would call me right back. Its been 4 days and I have not got a call from anyone! I would not use this hotel Hampton Inn. The front desk girls are very nice but the MANAGERS SUCK!!!! If there is a problem GOOD LUCK getting it worked out. Where do I start. First of all they insisted that I cannot park my boat and Jeep in the parking lot. They said no exceptions. You cannot park your jeep with a boat behind it and take up three parking spots. I stayed there for three nights, and I had to keep my bass boat down the road in a empty parking lot I had to bring in all my fishing poles every single night. But on the third night, I woke up the next day and it was the weekend and they had three boats and JetSki's parked in the middle of the parking lot overnight and during the day. But the lady told me during the week no exceptions that you cannot park there. Also the bathroom door slides shut and open and it would not stay shut. You would close it and it would just roll right back open again. the entire floor that we were on smell like cigarette smoke and also the room smell like cigarette smoke. If I were you, I would not stay here with any boat or trailer. Because they will refuse to let you park in the parking lot until there is a shift change and then, someone will end up parking there while you spent three days carrying your stuff through the lobby so it wouldn't get stolen. read more

I check in tonight. I stay in this hotel two or three times a month for work. In the last four years never have I been treated so poorly at any hotel I've ever stayed across the country. Front desk assistant Trever who was checking me in. I've never seen Trever before and wouldn't give me his name. I had to go ask the next morning who was working last night. But Trever Then accuses me of being drunk and on drugs. All because I asked if I could use my corporate code to check in since we stay at this hotel so frequent. he said he doesn't know how to do that and I can come back tomorrow. I can't imagine anybody telling a client that stays at a hotel over 70 times a year to come back at a later date because he doesn't know how to do his job. Spent 3 wonderful nights @ the Parker Hampton. The breakfast was Good, the front desk gals were lovely (though some said not on here), we really enjoyed all of them. The room is clean, large, high ceilings, TV worked great w/our ROKU, & the beds/pillows were so comfortable. Slept like rocks. Location - Not too far from the lake, a bit far from the local boat dock since the casino is closed at the moment. Also the surrounding area is ok but when I pulled up they had like 3 cops near the hotel with cars pulled over. Parking - Parking isn't too bad as they have a good amount at the hotel, and RV, Boat, or larger vehicle Parking across the street. Staff - From checking in, room service, breakfast employees it was great with quick and friendly service. Pool Area - Its very nice with a fire pit, table area and everything is current with chairs and decor. Rooms - Rooms are clean with updated amenities and clean sheets. I can always expect a clean hotel at a Hampton Inn and this one is a very clean hotel. The ladies at the front desk are nice, friendly and helpful. I really liked Brandi. The breakfast is just okay for a continental breakfast, a decent variety of choices. The food could be warmer, the oatmeal was cold and the water to make tea was Luke warm. The only problem we had was them cleaning the room above us at 6:45am and running the vacuum, it woke us up, that was pretty ridiculous cleaning that early. Stayed twice at this location. 3rd time was not a charm. Came in today at 1pm...front desk person was not very nice. Asked her for two rooms for 3 days. She said they had room but couldn't be in till 3pm. Asked her to asked house keeper, to see if something was available. She wouldn't, and said that was her policy. I asked her to please ask. She said no. I asked to talk to manager...but she said manager was busy and didn't even check. She was pretty cold and rude. She said she couldn't give me room keys...but would reserve the rooms. We went outside...decided to leave, after the way she treated me. Went back 15 minutes later. She said she wouldn't cancel reservation. Said the hotel was independent and not Hilton Corporate. She stated i had to pay the day for the room and i had no recourse. Said she needed 24 hours to cancel, even though i only took 15 minutes. I said it was only 15 minutes. She was rude and didn't care. Asked to talk to manager but she said manager was unavailable. Again very rude. Came back 8pm to talk to manager. Her response was...because i didn't get what i wanted thats why she said i was upset. Lady is not very professional. Front desk girl was nice. Was at least going to take off one room. Place is nice but people are rude and arrogant. When you try to ask for help...they say they are not Hilton but independent hotel. They can do what they want 15 minutes and they didn't work with me. I found a condom and a condom wrapper behind the chair. I contacted the manager of the hotel and she told me that she can give me a 10% discount. She was very rude and said that this does not happen in the hotel and it was very weird that this happened. I denied the 10% discount and requested at least 50% off or a full refund. She became very rude and told me that this does not happen in my hotel and that is weird . I am a diamond member with Hilton and I have stayed over 70 nights with the Hilton brand. I am writing this review because of the experience that I had and how the manager add and how the manager handled the situation. Stayed one night. Everything about our stay was great. Check with the night girl desk clerk was good. She made conversation and was upbeat and bubbly. Hotel lobby clean and inviting with a small adjoining breakfast room. They are still serving morning breakfast but with all prepackaged items like muffins, granola bars, cereal and fruit. Our room was immaculate, even the glass shower door was sparkling clean. Linens bright white. Air conditioning was on and our room was freezing at 72°. Front desk clerk recommended a shuttle service that arrived within minutes and was only $10 to drive us down to the casino. Pool area even thought small had a propane fire pit, a BBQ area and a hot tub that was handicap accessible. A few cons but I'm not deducting points. The train nearby only seems to drive through town in the middle of the night. The view out of our window was a unsightly junk lot and the parking lot had beer cans scattered. Will stay here again! We've stayed at this Hampton on two occasions; one was for a two-night stay, and then over this past Thanksgiving we stayed for four nights. Full complimentary breakfast every day -- not just pre-packaged pastries. I mean waffles, scrambled eggs, biscuits w/gravy, sausage, bacon, and, of course, the cereal and oatmeal and fresh fruits. It was quite filling and yummy! Rooms: Our room was a double-queen and was extremely roomy with a desk and free-standing ottomans if needed. Comfortably sized bathroom with well-lit vanity and hairdryer. Grounds: We used the pool and jacuzzi in the beautifully situated common patio area. Very nicely done! There is also a grill and gas-lit firepit. Staff: We enjoyed chatting with every one of the staff on-site. Each was just as kind as the other. Laura Logan, General Manager, was an intricate piece to how nicely things run at this location. She was tending to just as many exterior comforts as she was interior; cutting low-hanging palm branches in the parking lot and tidying up the landscaping. Thank you all! This hotel is not as depicted on the website. It is old and in disrepair. Elevators and ice machines not working. Bathtub was needing repair attention, bed squeeked with every move, carpets were dirty, kept socks on and they showed the dirt. For the price and the Hampton name we expected a little more upscale. This was not the case. The sheets did seem to be clean. And the towels. The breakfast was ok, decaf coffee was cold. Just don't expect an upscale motel... knock about $70 off the price and it would be a more acceptable price for what you get. read more

The absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced. If you ever have an issue with your room, or a complaint good luck getting a manager to ever call you back. After one phone call they like to suddenly be "not in the office right now" every single time you call back. They will dodge your call. They will not return your call and the staff was very rude. I would give the rooms a "C-" for cleanliness. Towels are dingy and gross. The room smelled. Do not stay here!! Choose another hotel in Parker! If I could give this ZERO stars Update 7/18. It's been OVER A MONTH and yet no one has returned my calls. Do not stay here. I've filed complaints with corporate as well. I called them almost everyday for 2 weeks and the refuse to provide customer service. There are bugs in the room, bathroom and carpet. My complaint was bed bugs and since the hotel doesn't want to admit it, seems like I won't be getting a call back. I'll keep trying. Exceeded expectations in every way! Needed a place to stay as we stopped in see some friends on our way to Quartzite. The parking lot is easily accessible and monitored by surveillance. Joe checked us in and immediately made us feel welcome. There was a coffee bar that was clean and made me want to have a cup right then, 5pm and it was fresh and hot. Their attention to cleanliness in regard to COVID is exceptional! The room was sealed and the moment you entered you could smell how fresh and clean it was! Rooms are decorated very nice, making me feel very comfortable. The pool area has a fire pit that was amazingly inviting. Had to go sit by the fire a bit before bed. Nice clean room. Manager was nice enough to let us book a place as walk-in during an audit. A/c works great in the room (it was 99 degrees at 2am outside ). Only complaint is that they started vacuuming the hallway at 7am. Other then that, they provided coffee/tea in room as well as downstairs in the lobby for their guests. read more

If I could give this 0 stars I would in a heart beat. I stayed there 6/11-6/14 and found a few bugs in our bathroom, and have ALSO discovered multiple bed bug bites on my legs, butt, and arm after I checked out. We've called several times to address the issues and the staff and management could care less, they have dodged our calls (super professional by the way) very rude and argumentative when we did manage to get a hold of them. I will never stay there again and I hope that this never happens to anybody else bc the hotel staff and management don't care. read more

My husband travels all over Arizona for work. He always chooses this hotel instead of the Hampton Inn in Lake Havasu when on the western side of the state for several reasons. Plenty of Diamond parking, very clean lobby and front entrance area, always greet us as a Diamond member and offer water (not all hotels do), even through COVID they have maintained an adequate breakfast service, (the coffee self serve is really good), and prices are fair for the size comfort of the room. Comfortable bed and good water pressure in the shower too. We love this hotel! read more

Service: Not terrible. Kinda disorganized. But overall, usually friendly. Rooms: Nice size. Internet is ok overall. However, the windows are single paned and the traffic noises are kinda loud. I walked in at 10:30pm as I tried to confirm my reservation via app. I forgot I had cancelled my debit card and didn't update my new one. I guess they decided to cancel my reservation because the card didn't work. I was literally driving thru the desert and didn't get the call from the desk and never received a courtesy message indicating my reservation was cancelled. Not sure why this was done when I mentioned in the app that I would be there past 10 pm and the information could be been updated and confirmed once there. I have lost and updated my cards in the past and I always get a courtesy call to update the card on file or do it once I arrive. Not sure why they couldn't do that here. The young girl was helpful however the GM Laura came in from cleaning her boat parked upfront and said she was the manger. I asked her if she could help me pull up the reservation that was cancelled as I had booked it a month in advance and got a better rate and she said she couldn't do that. I provided her feedback regarding her customer service and how she was not being helpful. She accused me of trying to check in online which I know Is not possible without updating my card info. I knew I had to come upfront to update my info. I asked her if she could call or try to help me as it was late at night and I had 2 sleeping kids in the car. She said there was nothing she could do and told me I could go somewhere else. I left and rebooked my reservation via the app. I was at the front desk for 10 mins while the young lady was preparing my info with the new reservation when Laura called her to tell her to decline service and she refused to take my reservation. Laura was texting the young girl instead of honoring her role as the GM and communicate the decision she made instead of hiding behind her employee. This was not necessary as she took the interaction personally. I was annoyed but not at any point was I disrespectful towards her. You can review the lobby recording as I did not cause a scene but was irritated due to the fact that it was late and I was tired and had kids in the car from out long drive. If Laura can not take feedback regarding her CS skills she does not belong managing a Hilton chain hotel. She said if I didn't like the way it was managed I should go somewhere else. I have always received great customer service as a Hilton Honor member however this was a sour experience for a small hiccup that Laura didn't know how to work through again as I was not rude but understandably frustrated with the situation and not getting help beside telling me if I don't like it there I needed to go somewhere else. She said she was gonna red flag me. I mean for what? For not agreeing with the way she refused to help me? Sorry but if a disagreement triggers you and you can't handle people then you shouldn't be in the hospitality industry. I will be contacting Customer Service in the morning for the major inconvenience that didn't need to happen. read more
