Another plumbing company has been my go to for plumbing needs since I bought a house in Springfield…read more6 months ago. I continued to use them because I was happy with their services but then last weeks EPIC snowstorm hit bursting pipes all over town, and unfortunately the sewage pipe in my house was one of them. My other company was booked out for several weeks with no available eta but said they would call me if something became available. So I started calling around and came upon Bufords number on Yelp. They said like all of the other plumbers in town they were booked out but would have the owner swing by ASAP to assess the situation as if it an easy fix they would try to handle it if time permitted. Josh came out and went over the situation. He came by the next day and evaluated the burst pipe and clogged sewage line without charging me for anything. Unfortunately it was not going to be an easy fix, so he couldn't do it that day but said he would try to schedule me the following week. He suggested calling my other plumbing company back and telling them exactly what the problem was he had diagnosed to see if it would help them be able to schedule me sooner as knowing exactly what the problem was tells them how long it would take them to do the job, and he said he had worked with the other company before and highly recommended them if they could do the work before he could. My other company was able to schedule me a few days later with this knowledge and fixed the issues, but before I could call Buford back to tell them the issue was fixed they called me first to ask if I had resolved the problem and said that they would squeeze me in this week if it hadn't been resolved. So while they didn't actually fix the burst pipe they did drop everything to get out here and diagnose it for free, advised me I was using another great company if they could do the work before they could, and then followed up to make sure it was handled or schedule me in. This following a storm when literally hundreds of houses and business had broken pipes throughout town and they were not lacking for business by any means. Great service and follow through, honest business practices and integrity throughout. I still have my other company which I use, but Buford is now on my saved contacts as my backup should the need ever arise. If you don't have a plumbing company give Buford the business as they will work for it. Thanks guys!

25 Stars !!!! Aces is the GOLD standard of handymen!!…read more I cannot say enough good things about the incredible Ace home service company !! Communication is off the CHARTS !!!This guy doesn't show up and disappear into the void like so many others. Austin keeps me in the loop every step of the way-texting updates on his schedule, letting me know exactly when he'll arrive and coordinating multiple project seamlessly. No more sitting around wondering if someone will actually show up!! His quality of work and cleanliness factor is unreal. I've never had a contractor who actually left my space cleaner than before they started, but this Handyman does exactly that. He brings his own drop cloths, cleans up every speck of dust and debris and vacuumed up areas that weren't part of the original work zone. He also goes above and beyond , one fan that we had switched out had become loose and not evacuating properly, Austin took pictures and let me know what was going on and then fixed it immediately. Austin treats my house just like he would his house. His can-do attitude is refreshing . Whether it's fixing a leaky faucet, installing shelving, or tackling that weird project I wasn't even sure was possible, he's game for anything and here's the kicker. If something falls outside his expertise, he doesn't just shrug and walk away. He has a network of trusted professionals and will actually coordinate to get you connected with the right person for the job Quality work, fair pricing and genuine professionalism. I'm so happy I have a stack of business cards that I can hand out to my family and friends. If you're tired of unreliable contractors who leave messes and poor communication in their wake, call this guy, you won't regret it !!Highly recommend for any and all home improvement needs
