From the beginning to end, Pedro was an excellent communicator. He was very responsive to both text and calls. He came quickly for an estimate and then fit us into the schedule. The pressure washing job was excellent. Then the cement team came to do the resurfacing. The main part of that was beautiful, but there were some cracks at corners and seams. Pedro got a team back to do some fixes, and we were happy with the final result. It was harder to get the railing team in. Took him 3 tries with 3 different subs to get them out, so there was a couple of weeks delay. Throughout, Pedro kept me informed of what was going on. When the railing team came, they did a great job with the installation. We are very happy with the final result and highly recommend Pedro and Apple's Construction.

They showed me how bad it was falling apart to the touch...this got the ball rolling in my head (since i do have some roof leaks from around the chimney maybe) to address the chimney. These guys (again, off the street, no truck or anything) weren't going to be who i hired. So i had 2 companies come inspect & bid (both priced the same) and i went with Ed's. Oscar is the owner, Ed's son, and he's been doing chimneys for his whole life. When the owner is actually doing the work himself (like i do) is always an "im sold" situation for me. He and his assistant were at my place, on time, at a time that worked for me, for 5 hrs/3 days. Oscar explained every detail, answered all my questions, spotted some minor leak related stuff on my roof and fixed it at no extra charge. He is VERY in tune with maintaining high customer satisfaction. He was also conscious of making sure no carbon monoxide would creep into the house. He improved upon that exact situation that a previous heating company handled in an inferior capacity. They left no mess. I'm super happy with the new chimney! i have no doubt if there is any issues in the near future, he will be on top of it.

Honestly, I wish all contracting business was like this: straightforward, trustworthy, and professional. The transformation from a dilapidated state of the parking lot to an even and finely edged surface is impressive. Two things really stand out. 1)Parking may seems to be technically simple: just spreading the black stuff on like peanut butter on bread. But, a flat surface does not drain. So the lot has to be curved right to channel the proper drainage. They really knew what they were doing and delivered with their expertise. (Their project manager had such pride inhis work!) 2) They were trustworthy and consistent from the get go. Factual, professional, and no BS. They came out, assessed the lot and offered us a not the cheapest but a really reseaonable bid for the project. And, they actually put in more work to get the best results. Then charged us exactly that amount. Really, I wish they would expand to other areas of contracting because gosh, it is so nice to be able to trust a company in this line of work. Thank you!
