I stopped in here yesterday to get a quote for a windshield on my car. The kid came outside and looked at the car and told me it would take awhile to get a quote and would text me the quote. Awhile? Well as of today I still haven't got a quote. I knew there would be problems when the "Kid" came outside to get me a quote. I have gotten my windshield replaced by this company before and they were good and came out to the house to replace my windshield. This time I got no response back. Well after I left JSL, I ended up driving to another windshield repair place and they were able to get me a quote within 2 minutes standing at their counter. I don't know why it would take JSL 2 days to get me a quote for a windshield which I still haven't got. I waited till the last minute for JSL to text me just to give them a chance. Well I'm glad I didn't wait any longer to get a quote from JSL. I just ended up going with the other windshield company. As of now, I could not recommend JSL Auto Glass. It's too bad because they did a good job on my last vehicle. read more

An update on review as work has been completed Two workers came out after calling me 20 minutes b4 arrival giving me an ETA and they were prompt, courteous, friendly to talk to (and thankful I had car in garage as providing them shade). Took them less than 1 hour to install, thanked us for their business and left my car looking good! Hopefully I will not have to use them for another 5 years, but if I need windshield replacement I'll go to them a 3rd time! Highly recommend. read more

I've had JSL replace windshields on two separate cars three times (one of which was twice - the front and back). One car was a Mercedes and the other a Jeep. They are the best in town and quoted me the least amongst all the other places I've contacted. The best part is they come to you! They're always on time and super helpful. Their service is excellent and reliable (again they replaced 3 windshields of mine). They have appointments readily available (they once came the very next day) and usually last an hour. I shattered the back window in my truck when my tool box broke loose of its anchors. We called these guys. I parked at work and by the time I came out the job was done as is better than new. When a company has nothing but 5-star reviews on Yelp, it's for a good reason! I called them up last Thursday to schedule a windshield replacement (thank you, local area construction!) and was informed by Kim that they would need to order my windshield from the dealer (since I specifically requested factory glass) and it would take 4-5 days to deliver. Ok, NBD. Just gotta roll with it, right? Wrong! On Monday she calls me back to let me know my windshield arrived--say wuuuuuuut??! I'm doing my happy dance at this point, because my poor windshield looks so sad and I can barely see through it courtesy of sunlight refraction along the course of the entire crack. We schedule the appointment for the next day. Like clockwork, the installer, Miguel, calls about 15 mins prior to arriving at my office, meets me downstairs, does his thing with the help of another very polite installer...and BOOM! 30 minutes later, we're back in business! I never write reviews but had to this time because the service from JSL auto glass was nothing short of exceptional. I was on a long road trip to Reno and had a scary emergency where my side window glass suddenly shattered on the highway during the trip. I had no option to return back home since it was a long road trip, and they were able to schedule me within a short 2 days notice. Kim on the phone was was super flexible in finding a time that worked for us to have their team come down to our location during our stay in Reno downtown. Miguel and Jorge were extremely fast and professional, very good at what they do. My window was replaced and fully functional within minutes. And they're a local business so their prices are amazing. I had a passenger window replaced in my 2006 Range Rover on July 3, 2021 by Jorge & Jose from JSL Auto Glass. Both Men where extremely professional and I was truly impressed when watching them install the manufactured window from Land Rover. Also, Prior to the installation I had major issues with my car insurance company's claims dept. It is too long of a story to get involved with in this review. It is one of the major insurance companies who I have been with since I was 16 years old. I was very upset at the claims agents who I dealt with. It was Kim from JSL Auto who I was working with in the middle of this huge mess with the insurance company. Kim was astounding to work with through this major mess with the insurance company. She is amazing and so, so, supportive. She was able to get the full amount of the manufactured glass covered due to her knowledge and passion to support the customer. My insurance company was fighting the full coverage of the manufactured glass. Kim was able to finally speak with an insurance claims agent who knew what to do and how to handle this! Our Insurance Company had these guys as their preferred vendor because they provided a 2 yr. warranty on workmanship and the windshield. Well they showed up at my work, which was great! They took about an hour to do the front windshield and I thought everything was cool, well it was not! I have a brand new rig that is 3 months old when this happened. I washed my brand new rig right after the install and noticed when I was drying it that there was splash marks on the passenger front hood and quarter panel. Originally I thought it was pitch or something from a tree, but when I tried to pick at with my finger nail the paint came off down to the primer of the paint. I called JSL Auto and of course they told me it was not them and that it was someone else who did it and that they don't use any corrosive chemicals... I thought "WRONG"! Because it was alright until they worked on it. Also, a guy at my work noticed and told me that they did not put any protective cover on the front hood while they worked on my vehicle, which I thought was weird as they are handling a big piece of glass. Anyway, I called my insurance company and told them what happened and of course them and JSL Auto are in on this so my insurance told me that they would not hold JSL Auto responsible for the damage, which was 2k to fix. They said I could put a claim in on my collision insurance and get it fixed that way. Bunch of BS!! So that damn warranty is worthless and JSL Auto does not stand behind their work! I would be very cautious when using these guys! If you do, make sure you watch them as I should of done.... read more

After I got a crack in my windshield I called my insurance company and they recommended JSL Auto Glass. JSL arrived at my work located in Santa Clara, CA 2 days later, on time. They replaced the front windshield quickly and it looks great. I had water leaking into my car so I called JSL and they came to my home located in San Jose CA and checked the windshield and he informed me it was not leaking through the windshield but he did show me where the water was coming from. I am very happy with their service and I highly recommend this company. I am a very satisfied customer. Even though their address in Reno NV they do service Santa Clara and San Jose CA. read more

Fantastic! My passenger side window was busted by vandals during the night. I live in Sacramento, CA, and was referred to JSL by my insurance company. I called at 8am today and spoke with Lisa. Although office hours start at 8:30 she had come in early and kindly took my call. Lisa set up an appointment for a mobile service to come out between 12 and 2. She quoted $250, but found several discounts for me and brought the price down to $200. Perhaps it's because I mentioned that I've been unemployed on and off this year, or maybe it was my advice on how to try and fix her iPhone power drain problem (I'm going through the same thing). But she was courteous and understanding. I gave her my credit card number and waited for the mobile service. Mobile service showed up at 9:30am, a full 2.5 hours early! Darrius was amazing. He fixed everything within less than 2 hours, including helping me to vacuum out my entire car and the area under and around the car. He was patient, pleasant, and totally professional. He gave me an invoice. I called the office back and they confirmed that $200 was charged and they were mailing out a receipt that day. I will recommend this company to everyone I know. My girlfriend and I were at the airport parking garage getting ready to fly out for 4th of July when my driver's side window decided to fall into the door. Not wanting to leave the truck with an open window for a week, we called JSL Auto Glass as soon as we arrived in Denver while we waited for our connection. Lisa was amazing! She arranged their mobile repair team to go to the airport and fix the window. Amazing level of service. I called a few other bigger companies before I called JSL. None of them wanted anything to do with a mobile repair in an airport parking garage with the owner on the other side of the country. When getting the car ready for the install they used a rubber mallet to hammer off the fasteners on the windshield wipers instead of using a windshield wiper puller tool like every other windshield installer. Then they ordered the wrong windshield and said they got the wrong part number from the dealership. The technician noticed that it was wrong after he had already taken out the cracked windshield leaving the car unsaleable until a new one is installed. He said that he would be back in 30 minutes with the right one but when he came back he came with a lesser value windshield without consulting me. I noticed that it was wrong windshield and told them i would not accept that piece of glass because i paid for a higher quality glass. The following day when the right windshield is supposed to be installed they called the morning of the install to inform me that they had order the wrong windshield once again. read more

JSL Auto Glass came out to Truckee and did a great job replacing my windshield. They were able to fit me into their schedule a week quicker than our local glass shop and obviously the glass and rubber gasket was identical to what anyone else would have installed. Also, I was quoted one price and then the price was increased due to a misunderstanding. I called back as soon as it was installed and they had no problem billing me at the original price.
