Training not only the dog but also the owner, Jenn provides in-home coaching and will leave you with a "homework cheat sheet" to practice the techniques between sessions. She's patient, firm, and really has a way with dogs. My baby really responded to her leadership and we were able to get him to obey using her techniques. I have and will continue to recommend Jenn to anyone in need of assistance with dog training. Jenn takes the time to not only explain her instructions but the reasons behind them as well. Our dog was not a problem dog by any means, but we wanted him to listen to commands when he was given them. Jenn has been a blessing to our dog! She will come to your home for a free initial consultation where she lays out her ground rules and plainly tells you these are my rules you must follow, if you don't want to follow them, I may not be your ideal trainer. Very professional and up front, I loved it! As with any dog training, the trainer only does so much. The majority of the work is your involvement and working with your pet. She comes weekly to show you what to do correctly and monitor the progress of your pet. He tips and insight are invaluable.

My schedule would change frequently, and they were very understanding with my last minute requests - I was concerned at times that I was burdening them but they never acted that way at all. I would receive pictures and updates on every walk with how she did. I've saved some of these photos as my favorites. They got to know her, and her quirks, and I appreciate that they noticed these things. Even their questions on their initial forms were more thoughtful than any other form I've seen from other companies. Thank you Edie & Jannah!

First thing that came to mind was to check them into a pet hotel, but it just felt wrong... Cats don't like changes, they like their familiar hiding spots and their routines, and they really don't need a whole lot of attention. I felt like a pet hotel would be a little stressful for our cats... I got them an automatic food dispenser before the trip, so all I really needed was someone reliable to check on them once a day, empty their litter box and refresh their water. I considered asking our neighbors or a friend to help out with that, but I also didn't want to give them a chore during Thanksgiving week... I found Pet Sitter Carmel Valley here on Yelp and thought they would be perfect for my needs. And indeed they were perfect! Edie and Jen are super friendly and very professional. They stopped by before our trip to meet me and see the cats, they asked all the questions, took the house key and we were all set and ready to go! Jen would text me everyday after her visits to let me know how the cats were doing and she always sent me a few pictures - what was really nice to see when we were missing our fur balls! She even managed to bond with one of our cats I thought would never come out of under the couch when we were away!!! :) I'm so glad I found these ladies! We will definitely reach out to them again next time we travel and recommend them to neighbors with pets. They are genuine pet lovers!
