From the…read moreoutside this facility looked fantastic and I thought I found a great space for our puppy to board and do day care. I booked numerous times over a few months. I would pick my dog up and everything seemed fine. The last time I went to pick up my 7 month olds puppy from boarding, I parked my car and was walking by the fenced play area (which you can't see through). As I walked by, I could clearly hear my dog barking as she is young, just discovered her bark, and probably smelled me. As I walked by, I heard VERY CLEARLY (management) the staff in the yard say in a frustrated voice to one of the dogs (better not have been my dog) "shut the fuck up or im going to kick you". I was furious walking in to pick Kira up and asked the front desk who was out there with my dog stating RESPECTFULLY that if she was threatening my dog like that they needed to bring that staff member out so I could speak to her directly. Front desk said they would speak to her and get there manager. I stated that if she was speaking to my dog I WOULD be speaking with her. Speaking to the manager, he stated that that was out of character for the staff member and that sometimes people get frustrated working with dogs. I left after thanking the manager for hearing what I had to say but not feeling heard whatsoever. The manager texted me a day later not to follow up on that, but to follow up on training I had inquired on. I thoroughly expressed my concerns to him via text, and how concerned I was for the treatment of the animals in there care with these kinds of threats openly in ear shot of customers (what happens behind closed doors?). I never received a response and never received a follow up. That was now weeks ago. My question is, WHY WOULD I MAKE THAT UP? We never had any issues prior boarding our dog there or dropping off for day care, never complained before etc. This was a genuinely shocking experience and I was in disbelief. I would urge you to pick somewhere else. No animal deserves to be threatened like that, empty threat or not.

The first time was about 6 years ago with our cockers, Spanky and Liberty. Both Paul and Britta were so good and patient. When our Spanky had a litter of pups and we kept 2 of them (Sunshine and Sweet Pea), we knew we needed Britta and Paul's help with training! Again, Britta and Paul were outstanding! He's helped train many, many dogs (even some former dogs of my own because they were taking me for walks when it very well should be me taking them for walks)! Long story short, after a couple training sessions (for both myself and the dogs), they now both walk by your side and do pretty well off leash! Yay ... And ~ not only that but Hector reinstates the training in their weekly camp visits too! What I love about camp is the team truly does it all! The dogs get exercise by going on walks, hikes, or even bicycle rides & they also get play time in the kiddie pool. Hector really does an amazing job of making your dogs feel right at home! As being a witness to this altercation, up close, there was no closed fist or pain inflicted on the dog, and he handled the situation as best as he could with what he could do at that moment. He absolutly adores the dogs he works with and has been working with these dogs mentioned specifically for 1+ years. He has worked with dogs for most of his life. Scott works hard to ensure that every dog is happy, tired and healthy by the end of the day.

The staff is WONDERFUL!! They remember my dogs name, even when she hasn't been in awhile! When I drop my dog off I can look in the viewing window and see how sweet the staff are to my dog and all the doggies. Last time I watched, I saw the staff pick her up, which she loves, give her a little snuggle and then put her in her favorite spot - on the top of the stair structure where she can oversee everything. They love to give scratches, pets and attention to all the dogs, it just shows you how kind, thoughtful and attentive they are. I love that they have the mutt-cams so we can watch all the fun. :) My dog sometimes doesn't want to leave she loves it there so much! We chose this place because we love how they are cage free when boarded overnight and they give you the cutest report card when you pick them up.

It was the first time we spent significant time away from her. She had a great time after being a bit shy at first. We decided to send her a second day in a row. Took her early (7:30) so she would be one of the first ones there. She had a great time. She easily interacted with the pack. There are many handlers on duty so that any problems are addressed immediately. Addy had to be "redirected" a few times for over enthusiasm We look forward to taking her back once or twice a week.
