    7 pieces of shrimps

My brother suggested this place for fish n chips. I got four pieces combo with seasoned curl Fries. The fish was fresh and battle was crispy and light. The shrimp was good size and tender. Fries were crispy and not over seasoned. I like their tartar sauce. Their clam chowder was okay. There are few tables inside. It can be a wait if you come during rush hours. Plenty of parking. Service was okay.

Because my friend likes this place, we ordered a family pack of 10 pieces of cod, your choice of fries, coleslaw, and 4 sauces for take out. After taking my first bite, I was somewhat disappointed because there was more breading than I would like. For my fish, I prefer a light crispy batter. As for the sides, the salt and pepper chips were good and the coleslaw as well.

I can't believe we have never reviewed J's! Hands down the best fish and chips at the coast. Don't sit till you've ordered. Don't expect fancy. Do prepare to be in awe at the cod fish and curly fries. This place is a must stop every year when we come to LC!

Busy on a Tuesday at lunch time, so we took it to go and ate lunch on the beach down the street, the guy who took our order was fast and efficient and still friendly and welcoming, not rude or anything, even when there was a rush. He ran a tight ship! Food came out quick and hot! No complaints, napkins, straws, utensils, everything to go was in the bag already waiting, we were out the door quickly and away we went. Very good system they were running there. I recommend if you want good quick seafood on the coast! I got the combo, 2 cod 1 halibut 2 big shrimp, and a big mound of curly fries (you can pick reg fries or chips too) and slaw) and the sauce is good too. Not bad for the price! This place isn't fancy but it's great food. It was busy in the middle of the week so you know it's worth it.

    Three piece Cod

We were looking for a good place to have some fish and chips. This place was beyond good!!! It's a small spot, with explicit instructions when you enter (I'm assuming they get a lot of traffic and need to keep it moving). We were kindly greeted! We ordered at the counter and were then instructed which table at which to sit. I had the three piece of Cod, my husband had the combo which included cod, halibut and shrimp. The food was served piping hot and was AMAZING! The breading was a thin crunchy batter instead of that thick beady batter. And their tartar sauce - not sure if it was homemade but it was fantastic! It had large pieces of pickle in it and wasn't super sweet. All in all, a fantastic place to eat fish.

We saw a lot of reviews talk about how good the Ramen was so we decided to try it and honestly didn't have very high expectations due to a small town The meal blew us away. The lobster roll was delicious but did wish the lobster pieces had more coating of sauce. When eating the bit with the greens it was delish. The lobster portion was pretty good compared to other rolls we've had. The spicy crab ramen was definitely the star. The broth was spicy and flavorful, but not too spicy, and there was a pretty decent portion of Dungeness crab, which we were surprised because we were expecting a little spec. There was lots of fixing steaks cooked perfectly and lots of noodles. we will definitely stop here every time we come back to Lincoln city now for that Ramen.

That should probably tell you everything you need to know. I've had A LOT of fish & chips, and I can confidently say Squatshami now holds the #1 spot for me. The halibut was some of the freshest I've ever had. The flavor was incredible, the fish was perfectly cooked, and the tartar sauce that came with it somehow took the whole thing up another level. And yes... I have zero pictures of the fish & chips. That's because it was so good there was absolutely no time for food photography. Priorities, people. And we can't forget about dessert! Their ice cream concoctions are completely customizable, and we went ALL IN with: Brownie Reese's Peanut Butter Caramel Fudge It was basically an edible vacation in a cup. If you're visiting the Oregon Coast and love fish & chips, put Squatshami on your list. The fact that we went back before leaving Lincoln City says it all.

Seagulls soar by the window and peek at your dinner (separated by glass) and the service is attentive but not overbearing. There's a piano in the lobby and unobstructed views of the coast and when you look down, the sand is right there! Would love to stay here one day. The food was flavorful. I'd rate this overall a 8.8/10. The crab cakes and steak were both house made and very fresh. The steak was perfectly made and bursting with flavor, (T-bone pictured). The side salad was heaping and great to share. The french onion was flavorful but we added some salt and pepper for ourselves. The potatoes bravas were *not* papas bravas and more like breakfast potatoes so if you're craving tapas like potatoes, I would advise considering abstaining from ordering, perhaps. For dessert, the Marion berry cobbler was incredibly fresh and tart. The ice cream paired very well with the Marion berry and pecan crust. I'd love to try the crème brûlée, key lime pie, and lemon cakes one day! What a special place. Took a day trip from Portland to see the ocean, and this was so lovely. We were seated immediately at the bar at sunset on a Sunday afternoon after stumbling across Fathoms. My personal tip for the ladies: the ladies restroom in the bar area has the best views in the house. I snuck a couple trips there to see the sunset from there. I watched a girl get dropped off for work out front, then when she came up with her jacket still on she stopped and asked if I needed help. Super nice, made my coffee.... It was super confusing and if it wasn't for that employee coming in who knows if I ever would have gotten my morning coffee.
